Introduction:

Hello! Always wanted to build a team around Kyurem! Except that wanted to use it outside of that Hail is the climate that it is usually used, I had a headache until the current team, luckily got a great result is the team showed very solid in my tests, I thank superpowerdude helped me looking for the team since the start of his desenvolvimente and giving me some tips.Show the process of creation.

--------------------------------------------

Team Builder:

The First Choice team was Kyurem as said in the introduction that I would see how it would fare in another climate.

I was looking for someone to give good coverage to Kyurem, because it found Jirachi possesses resistance to almost everything that takes Kyurem Super Effective.
646.png
385.png

Kyurem suffers greatly with Entry Hazards needed to avoid this, Xatu enters the team possessing Magic Bounce not only protects but also Kyurem whole team Entry Hazards, besides has immunity to be ground is a great figthing against exchange.

Team looks cool.

My thoughts when viewing the team:
Looks like a solid team. Why Virizion? Oh, nice way to combat rain teams! Like the idea. Why is he using rain though? Sun looks like a problem and scarf toed is too weak to combat sun. Kyreum looks like it can, but venu's hits are probably going to hurt at least. Other dragons on sun teams would very much put him in a stuggle? How can I fix that? Lets move on, Jirachi. Like the set, but nothing outright abuses the wish passing, kind of like nothing benefits from rain other than Virizion and a very weak way to combat sun. He needs SR though, so I can see why he uses it. Maybe weak to other hazards? But he has Xatu? .-. Lando is a way to fight sun IF it can set up a RP first, so I guess it isn't that problematic? Lets see, what can I do to help this team?

Hey! Duggy + Sun is a bitch to this team, commonly known as Lavos Sun. Lavos Sun will Duggy Jirachi, Genesect, and Venu. It's really hard to come up with a solid change, I would go to Virizion first but its a must-have member against rain. I really want to change your Politoed spread. Does it get any extra kills? (EDIT: as in tornadus-t) Jirachi is a safe go-to for him anyway and getting the surprise kill on him isn't worth losing much needed bulk against sun teams. So unless you got a better reason (and feel free to correct me ;]) for using Scarf Toed, I recommend your classic defensive one. The set is better for fighting sun and keeping weather up in general and I feel it would be better for this team since sun is a bitch and you NEED to win the weather war.

Wish is o.k. on Jirachi I guess, but it isn't really needed. So its preference changes, but you can always switch Wish for something like Icy Wind, Iron Head, Body Slam, etc. if you find any holes in the team.

Er, Genesect is a bitch to this team. Any Genesect that is specially oriented will give you problems, considering your like 3 pokes ice weak. Gene + Duggy itself can flat-out laugh at you. I just want to say that you need to constantly spam U-turn with Jirachi in order to prevent these situations, and also Gene has flamethrower which will make your life miserable. Nothing, not even Kyreum - who fears +1 Bug Buzz - can switch into any of his attacks. So what I'm going to is suggest a mile of things for you to switch:

Firstly, switch banded Virizion for banded Terrakion, which hits harder and can also take most of Gene's attacks. With that said, your exposed to rain, so replace Xatu for Rotom-W. With physical bulk in Politoed and Lando's resistances, you don't need that much fighting resist for the team. Rotom-W will still had core wall most things in rain, and alsonside Kyreum, you should be fine. Banded Terrakion hits things like Skarm much harder too, which makes it a suffiecent counter to SkarmBliss as well, standalone. Stone Edge also hits Dragons like DNite who you fail to hit hard with except for slow Kyreum with.

on a final note, switch Wish for Icy Wind, or Iron Head, as Dragons will try to set up and Jirachi is your main wall, so you want to punish them if they try to set up on you. Good team and I hoped I helped. From reading your RMT, I have full confidence that I don't need to submit any sets for you, since you can probably do that on your own. GL!

EDIT: Duggy will still be hard to counter, just play smartly and hopefully Rotom-W or Kyreum can smash it. Also, I think Terrak can live a single EQ at +0.

Perish Song with Choice Scarf is a bit of a liability. You'll have to switch back and forth if Volcarona were to come in on a Focus Blast, by which time it'll sweep you. Perhaps Life Orb?

Also, Virizion for offense is just simply outclassed. Terrakion has stronger attacks, and still doesn't quite close all OHKOs. Reuniclus, Dragonite, Gyarados, Salamence, can all tank the respective super effective hits directed at each one with little worry, although offensive variants of Dragonite are cleanly 2HKO'd with Stone Edge, this is aswell as being completely walled by any physical tank. I'd use a Swords Dance set if you wish to keep it, but otherwise I'd go for Terrakion or Keldeo.

Is there any particular reason you're going with Adamant and Modest natures on Virizion and Landorus respectively? You really need the Timid nature on Landorus to prevent a plethora of + speed nature Base 100's from outspeeding you and taking you out. I understand you have Rock Polish to boost its speed, but you won't have that luxury until later on in the match if at all. Special Landorus is a huge threat in this metagame and setting up too early could definitely cost you the game.

I believe you really need to just replace Virizion overall. Your team has weaknesses to Mamoswine and Sun in general. Sunny Day Ninetales is going to be pretty problematic if you do face one seeing as your Politoed is offensive and only fire resist. I suggest you replace it with a Rotom-W and give Xatu Reflect over Thunder Wave, you'll be able to handle Mamoswine a lot better. With Rotom-W, you are able to obtain a lot of momentum with Volt Switch and just with that you have a slightly better match up against sun. Especially with Kyurem because it has difficulty getting a free switch in for fear of a sun boosted attack or status.

Hey Miles Tails thanks for the shout out and fantastic team!

This team has quite alot of cool things in it Choice Band Virizion seems very cool and Xatu is quite and underated pokemon as well. As Chimpakt mentioned Mamoswine can be quite a threat to this team due to him getting super effective coverge on your whole team aside from Politoed who wouldnt want to take a stab earthqauke because the Life Orb Mamoswine 2hko's Politoed with it. Also with a bit of hazards damage Mamoswine can actaully beat Politoed switch ins with Earthqauke+Ice Shard. Hail stall may be a bit of an issue to because they threaten Xatu with the Ice-type moves they commonly carry making it a lot easier for them to set up their hazards.

With Choice Scarf on Politoed and Xatu/Jirachi being able to spread paralysis your team doesn't really need the speed that Rock Polish Landorus brings. I think your team would be much better of with Substitute>Rock Polish Although you miss out on having +2 speed with the paralysis support from Jirachi and Xatu, Landorus will still outspeed alot of pokemon and have an easier time getting up a Substitute with the opponents paralysed pokemon having a 25% chance to not move. This makes Landorus a good pokemon to use against stall teams due to being able to block their status moves with a Substitute then fire off his powerful attacks. Although this still doesn't help you to much against Mamoswine behind a Substitute he can't be revenge killed by Abomasnow or Mamoswines Ice Shard while being able to Ko them both with Focus Blast while he will get ample oppurtinities to get up Substitutes thanks to your teams paralysis spreading. If you decide to go with this change i would also use Timid>Modest so you can outspeed positive base 100's. Although you lose a bit of power without Modest behind a Substitute Landorus often gets another free turn to attack so it isn't all to bad.

Good luck with the team i hope i helped!

Tl;dr
Landorus
.Substitute--->Rock Polish
.Timid--->Modest
