Introduction:
Hey guys, when I played the 100th match with my last team, I realized that I was getting bored with it. So, I decided to make a new team:

395.png

Empoleon (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 156 HP/100 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Aqua Jet
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
Comments: Empoleon makes a solid and an awesome lead, it's one of the most overlooked leads. The raw power of Hydro Pump and the priority of Aqua Jet can 2HKO most leads, making them just Taunt or set their Rocks up. Ice Beam can OHKO Anti-Lead Dragonite's, a common thing nowdays. Maybe Empoleon shouldn't be #24 in the leads, people, use the mighty Penguin Empoleon more!

Machamp (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/128 Atk/128 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Dynamicpunch
- Ice Punch
- Payback
Comments: With Bulk Up, Machamp is a force to reckon with. A true beastly physical sweeper, I have got a 6-0 with Machamp twice. Ice Punch shreds Gliscor to tears, Dynamicpunch is a reliable STAB move, with a nice 100% chance to confuse the opponent and Payback usually has the 100 Base Power, thanks to Machamp being slow.

Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 36 Atk/220 Spd/252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Cross Chop
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Grass]
Comments: One of the best Mixed Sweepers, with Electivire in this moveset, I more than often see the words 'It's Super Effective!'. Cross Chop gets the Lucario's, Thunderbolt has a reliable STAB, Flamethrower OHKO's Scizor or 2HKO's at worst, and Hidden Power Grass easily OHKO's Swampert, who otherwise walls this set. With Gyarados in this team, I 90% bag the Motor Drive boost, also when Earthquakes are pointed towards Electivire, a switch to Gyarados makes the opponent annoyed.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
Comments: Ah, it's a Gyarados again in my team.. It can help Electivire get some vital Motor Drive boosts, but it can also sweep teams easily. Three times Gyarados has got me a 6-0. Dragon Dance forms the crux of this set, Waterfall gives STAB and I love the flinch chance, Stone Edge and Earthquake give it awesome coverage, while Stone Edge takes care of Salamence, Zapdos, Togekiss and other Gyarados's, Earthquake keeps Jirachi, Metagross, Jolteon, Magnezone and Electivire at bay.

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 32 HP/252 Atk/224 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Quick Attack
Comments: It's the king of revenge killing, none other than SCIZOR! Scizor forms an important part of the team, with Swords Dance and two priority moves at it's boot, Scizor is a tough guy to beat. Only Rotom resists all it's attcks. Bullet Punch has the Priority + Technician + STAB + Swords Dance + Life Orb boost, Superpower OHKO's Heatran and Magnezone, Quick Attack is for Zapdos and Gyarados who otherwise wall this set.

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Surf
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Recover
Comments: It's the star of the team, Latias! This team was made because of Latias staying in OU, a good thing for me :D. Only Empoleon, a rarity, resists all it's attacks. Calm Mind up, then start sweeping easily with the STAB-giving Dragon Pulse and Surf, which takes out Heatran, Infernape, Tyranitar and more Rock/Ground/Fire types.

So people, rate/hate/steal do anything :D.

Why have you got that much speed on Scizor? Most people only run 8 EVs because you have priority (double, in your case), and in the Scizor mirror you actually want to go second so you can take advantage of the Superpower defense drop.

For the late-game sweeper build, you generally want more bulk than Attack.

I would consider U-Turn over Superpower, too.

EDIT: Change your Machamp to a RestTalker. This gives you more bulk, as well as a Sleep/Status absorber. Given you already have three setup sweepers other than Machamp, you're at a risk of being heavily wounded by phazers and stall. In fact, you may want to change to the CBScizor as well, to further offset this problem.

I got that speed to hit Magnezone with Superpower, with 8 Magnezone will outspeed Scizor easily.
I won't change Superpower because I lose the ability to hit Magnezone for super effective.
I tried a RestTalk Machamp at first, but since it failed, I switched to Bulk Up Machamp.

I got that speed to hit Magnezone with Superpower, with 8 Magnezone will outspeed Scizor easily.
Most magnezones will be scarfed so Scizor is already outsped with the current Speed Evs. Plus Bullet Punch and Quick Attack will often be your main attacks and the additional speed will be probably useless apart from outspeeding a few key pokemon and hitting them with superpower.

OK so, Electivire is low on usage for a reason, he doesn't ever do much. As great as his coverage is, he just lacks the ability to power through teams, and he's next to useless without the speed boost. I would suggest a Specs Jolteon over him, which adds a little more to your team. Jolteon obviously can't function as a mixed sweeper, however he can be a deadly threat as well as a scout. Additionally, he gives you a way to beat adamant Gyarados, who will still fail to outspeed a timid Jolteon even after a Dragon Dance. I also prefer the ability to heal opposed to increase speed, as your only Electric-type immune should preferably last a very long time.

Jolteon @Choice Specs
Timid ; 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4HP
Thunderbolt / Shadow Ball / HP Grass / Baton Pass

Your standard Choice Specs Jolteon, he works pretty straight forward. Having base 130 speed, he's faster than pretty much every non-Choice Scarf Pokemon, and he can even outrun some of the slower ones. Tbolt is your main attack, denting most things that don't resist it. Shadow Ball is for Rotom-a / Latias, and HP Grass hits Grounds hard. Baton Pass allows you to keep up a good pace, and scout your opponents team for their answer to him. This could often reveal their answer to Latias as well, making it easier to identify and eliminate.

So with that out of the way, I'd like to change your Scizor up a little bit. Speed on Scizor is pointless, Magnezone is still going to outrun you because they will usually be scarfed. Running speed for one thing that very often is going to kill you anyway is a little unneeded, so I think we can afford to tweak your spread a little. 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD. This lets you take hits much better, as well as allowing you to switch into SR the most number of times possible. I would also change your moveset, adding U-turn over Superpower and Roost over SD. U-turn is Scizor's best move for a reason, it lets you hit the switch in hard and then immediately threaten it with your switch in. Roost will increase survivability, and Scizor really isn't going to have many options to sweep on this team.

Last but not least, I'd change Machamp to a Rest/Talk set. Status really hurts your team, as you really rely on everybody to be functioning at full ability. Machamp is a great status absorber for offensive teams because of his ability to maintain a certain degree of pressure while asleep. Bulk Up Machamp, similar to SD Scizor, really isn't set to sweep for your team.

Machamp @Leftovers ---No Guard
Adamant ; 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Rest / Sleep Talk / DynamicPunch / Stone Edge

Quality status absorber right here, which is why he's standard. No Guard over Guts so that you never miss, which is more important than the power increase. DynamicPunch is amazing with it's 100% confusion rate, which makes Machamp very hard to set up on. Stone Edge will hit Flying types hard, and has that nice high critical hit rate. Rest and Sleep Talk allow you to absorb status, while also solving the problem of Machamp's moves having low PP.

Hope I helped you out, Good Luck! Thanks to supermarth64 for linking me to a team to rate!

Pursuit and U-Turn are both a VERY viable option on Scizor over Quick Attack, which basically only helps you against a couple of particular pokemon that the rest of your team can handle pretty well. As was mentioned, Magnezone will either come in Scarfed and kill you anyway, so you're probably better off going heavy on SDef and/or running U-Turn to escape.

I don't see the point in changing Electivire to SpecsJolt. If you do so, you will only give yourself a worse matchup against stall teams, to the point where any good player will dominate you.

Lets start by removing Quick Attack on Scizor for U-turn, and change Life Orb to Leftovers (and moving the Speed to SDef, like has previously been mentioned). Extra durability and increased team momentum via U-turn is a huge bonus against stall and offensive Latias. The loss of power in Life Orb is less worrying because early-game you should likely be spamming U-turn, only using Swords Dance late-game when the opposing team is weakened enough to the point where the loss in power doesn't matter anyway. What's Quick Attack actually doing anyway? You have Infernape covered quite well (Latias, Gyarados to an extent, and even Empoleon's Aqua Jet). Zapdos isn't too bad for this team either...

Next, let's stop that annoying Gyarados weakness (which becomes worse if we remove Quick Attack, I admit, but that alone is not enough to deal with it); change Latias to Choice Scarf. When you look at what Latias is covering, you mostly have it doubly covered anyway (Infernape has already been mentioned, you have Machamp for Zapdos somewhat, and to a lesser extent Electivire, Heatran is annoyed by Gyarados etc.). Choice Scarf with Draco Meteor / Surf / Thunderbolt / Trick means you can play depending on the opponent's team: Draco Meteor / Surf / Thunderbolt offensive teams, while Trick helps you break stall (hint: keep Empoleon alive if you see a stallish lead). It just means you have an excellent revenge killer to late game Jolteon, Azelf, Latias, Gengar, and so on. Most importantly, it revenge kills Gyarados well, in case you get caught off guard and it Dragon Dances.

I guess if you test these changes it might be worth following what others have said (running Rest + Sleep Talk Machamp), because that is likely to help versus status teams and bulky offense teams (I would probably run Ice Punch for Zapdos and Gliscor).
