Hello hello!
I'm a man that is bored, a very bored man indeed. Normally, I wouldn't ever be posting RMT's ever because there's no point. Yet, you see, I'm a very bored man and am just interested in what kind of feedback there would be for my latest team. So now that I've explained myself...
So I realize that in order to good now you have to have a general theme and strategy in order to win. I've been on a big break from competitive battling but I knew this much. The only problem being about this was that I didn't know what kind of poke I wanted to be sweeping with end game.
I eventually chose Latias.
Basically the team at a glance is a anti-lead, scizor, baitgar, tinkerbell, mixmence, and scarftas.
Breloom (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 30 HP/252 Atk/228 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- Seed Bomb
My Anti-lead! Oh and what a great one he is! It's actually not too common for me to get to spore multiple times in a battle. For some reason Blissey tends to stay in on this guy as well, it's a little confusing but I don't ever complain when I super power it back. It's just extremely versatile and can work well as a revenge killer.
He prevents rocks 90% of the the time. The other ten percent being fellow scarf leads, lum leads, and aero (who he falls one speed point under). Basically spore everything you see, if you see a Aero use a seed bomb as it taunt then seed bomb again as it sets up rocks.
---
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Def/4 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Pursuit
Scizors here because he's fucking Scizor. Really, what team isn't using him?!
---
Gengar (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
Baitgar. He lures in Scizor and Tyranitars very well, and is very capable of killing them. I slapped expert belt on to fake out the possibility of being scarfed so people might try and get a free switch in on him. Works great on paper, so damn fragile tho'.
---
Celebi @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 46 HP/252 Def/212 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Rest
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Tinkerbell. Oh do I love this poke. Scizors continue to switch in on him only to get burned away. This poke is very standard, except I tweaked it a little bit. All the extra defensive bulk is too garauntee I can switch in on a scizors bullet punch, with rocks up, and still be able to kill it back.
---
Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 84 Atk/208 Spd/216 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Draco Meteor
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
When thinking about what would stop a latias sweep you can't help but to remember that any counter to a dragon is damn near killed in the process of countering it. So what better to set up a latias sweep than a latias sweep? Well since there's species clause, I settled for mixmence.
Who does a pretty damn good job at it.
---
Latias (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 74 HP/184 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Dragon Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Trick
- Surf
---
And the star of the show. He hits hard and all that jazz. Originally specs but I kind of hated heatran and wanted to be able to outspeed him no matter what he was.
I'll post the big list in a moment.
