Hey! This is my LC team . I've been laddering on LC for voice mainly , and this is my team .

Hippopotas @ Eviolite

Stealth rock is there for obvious reasons . Slack off in and of itself is already explained. I went with toxic to stop Lileep since that thing is really hard to stop and whirlwind is there just to irritate people . Yah ... I'm nice like that :)

A regular drillbur set except that it has the X-Scissor . Let me explain . The X-Scissor allows me to hit Lileep for super effective damage , and like as I said above , Lileep is a huge defensive threat to my team. The X-Scissor allows me to do decent damage to it so that I can either revenge it with this or revenge it with Mienfoo.

Pretty usual scarf set. Except for the dual chop . Dual chop is there for 2 reasons. 1 : To get it prefect neutral coverage . 2 : To break subs and deal damage. Other than this , this is a usual scarf set

Since I love balance and hate defence , the only defensive poke on my team being the hippo only to set up sand , I have spots for 5 sweepers. And like I said , I want balance . That meaning that I usually have 2 walls and 4 sweepers . 2 physical and 2 special . However , I find defence pretty useless in LC , so I got a mixed pokemon to give me the balance I love . Well , this set is pretty good. Pursuit to trap things like Gastly because I'm evil , sucker punch to revenge ghost types , brave bird as a nice stab move and heat wave for ferroseed.

Misdreavus . A gigantic threat . Though I'm terrible at using it and I always sack it , its a fantastic pokemon . Timid nature is to outspeed as I can have the boost from nasty plot And max speed and SAtk is to wreck as much havoc as possible and sub is to take a hit from murkrow and I can retaliate with thunderbolt.

Gastly . One of the most underrated pokemon in the tier. With a choice scarf , it can outspeed the entire boosted tier to revenge pokes. Shadow ball and sludge bomb is there for stab , thunderbolt is a nice coverage move and HP Fighting gives it fantastic coverage especially against Lileep and ferroseed.

Well , if anyone could tell me where to find sprites for my pokemon it would be fantastic .
 
Hey Adtherens. This is an Interesting team, and a really good Sand one. However, there are a few Changes i would make.

You have 2 specially attacking Ghost Types on this team. I would Get Rid of Misdreavus, as You don't really need it. Since you feel Lileep is a huge threat to this team, try a Magnet Rise Magnemite in that slot. Magnemite is a very powerful Pokemon, and can completely stop Lileep in it's tracks, as well as other threats.

With your Lileeps now in check, you are free to Run Shadow Claw or Rapid Spin in that slot. Bug doesn't give you that much coverage, wheras Shadow claw will OHKO Gastly and is your best shot against Misdreavus. Rapid Spin could be considered, but your team isn't weak to Hazards that much.

i'd actually try pawniard over murkrow, since double ghost is a pretty legit strategy in LC.

This is absolutely true. With all the Mienfoo and other fighting types running around, having two ghost types to absorb Fake Outs and STABs is an invaluable asset.

In regards to your Hippo, two words. Taunt Bait. Taunt renders him useless and forces you to switch. While Taunt may not be the most used move in the game, you still need a way to attack. This is why I suggest Earthquake over either Whirlwind or Toxic.

I know you want to be able to hit Lileep, but Shadow Claw really should be used over X-Scissor. An Eviolite Missy with Will-o-Wisp tears apart your current Drilbur.

You already mentioned your wariness of Lileep, but there is another mon which can consistently tear apart Sand teams. Snover. The perfect poke for this is Eviolite Magnemite. This is the set.

You win that every time, freeing you to run Shadow Claw for both coverage and awesomeness.

That's Evio Snover. Flash Cannon KO's too

Magnemite over Krow Krow just gives you another Snover weakness, which Sand teams are notorious for.

My last suggestion is to put Eviolite on Missy. I love the moveset, but in my experience it is better to have a little more bulk instead of a little more power on a NP Missy. Plus, Sub + LO damage adds up quick, and you don't want to lose such a valuable attacker so quickly!

That's about all I have to say. Overall the team looks great though! Try some of my suggestions and tell me how it does!
 
Nice sand team, they are pretty omnipresent on the ladder. There are several things I'd like to mention. First of all X-Scissor only hits Lileep neutrally, because of the part rock type. Next, you are running LO on 3 pokemon and 2 that take damage from SS. This is not good, so I would advise switching you Misdreavus to the bulky Eviolite set. Also, after this change, drop Thunderbolt in favor of HP Fighting to gain perfect neutral coverage. Now your Murkrow set doesn't make much sense. Why do you run 0 IVs in Spe for Murkrow? Your set dies quickly with Sand+LO+Brave Bird, so I would run Drill Peck over it. A bit less power, but much longer span of life. Run Insomnia over Super Luck so then you can switch into the Sleep moves of your opponent, especially Foongus, and KO them quickly. Overall, you have a pretty good team, good luck on getting voiced.

This is false, X-Scissor does hit Lileep super-effectively and with a Life Orb it guarantees the 2HKO so in my opinion it is very useful as this paves the way for a Murkrow sweep. If you want Shadow Claw, I'd put it over Rock Slide. Rock Slide only really hits Murkrow, who decimates you with Sucker Punch anyway. Shadow Claw can hit Missy hard especially if you take the suggestion of Knock Off on Mienfoo (see paragraph 3).

On Murkrow I'd like to suggest Hidden Power Grass over Pursuit. This is because Tirtouga is a massive threat to your team and can use Murkrow as set-up bait to get to +2. It can then simply rip through your team, except Mienfoo who struggles switching in and takes quite a bit of damage from a +2 Aqua Jet. With HP Grass you can at least trouble Tirtouga allowing you to revenge with Mienfoo a lot easier. If your rocks are up then it is an easy OHKO. It's not a perfect solution, but hopefully it will provide you with enough offensive presence to stop it setting up. Also I agree with Dcae about Insomnia>Super Luck. You don't wanna be switching into a Spore from Foongus or Shroomish!

As for Mienfoo, I can understand why you'd want Dual Chop for Sub Murkrow and Sub Misdreavus but it never KOs whilst they can both easily retaliate with Brave Bird or powerful Shadow Ball. If you want to keep it, fair enough, but Drain Punch can be a nice alternative to have a STAB without risk. However my preferred option would be Knock Off in that slot. This can annoy many switch-ins like Misdreavus and other bulky Fighting resists, removing their eviolites and allowing your offensive team to rip through them much easier.

Also on Hippo, I disagree with Nebuchadnezzar about needing Earthquake for taunt. The most common taunt users in my experience are Misdreavus, Cottonee and Vullaby, none of which are at all threatened by EQ. Earthquake still might be good move though just to do some consistent damage on things like Ponyta, who may threaten the team with a Sunny Day set. Toxic + Whirlwind is still a decent option though and I wouldn't worry about Taunt too much. As you said, you don't have a safe switch-in for Lileep so Toxic is really nice and Whirlwind is very useful against things like DD Scraggy. Completely down to personal preference. If you take my next suggestion though, then Toxic isn't needed for Lileep as much, so EQ would be recommended.

As many people have pointed out Pawniard or Magnemite would be a nice addition to stop Snover. Pawniard is what I would use as it can switch in to Snover and hit it hard with Pursuit. If rocks are up Snover will probably not be able to switch in again and if it could it would be very low on health. Pawniard also helps with the offensive theme, as it can set up with Swords Dance and do serious damage with Sucker Punch to many things. It also takes on Lileep with ease. I would run Pawniard over either Missy or Gastly. These are the most replaceable for me as the other 3 sweepers have great offensive synergy. Here is the set:
