Tournament LCPL XIII - Finals [Won by the Piplup Patrol]

You’re damn right I pre wrote this
I’d like to start with a big thanks to Fille, Kingler, Jox and Philip for picking me up and the doubles goons for listening to me yap about this for 3 weeks
Kaboom : Second time we’ve teamed up and I can say with certainty you are by far one of if not the most dedicated players on smogon literally in every channel giving great insight thanks for the hard carry
Kingler: locked in for us in lcpl it was a pleasure a wise man once said a locked in Kingler is worth 30k+, and how right they were
Fille: Drafts last in PRs again, 7-1s 1st in PRs, then later does the same to the actual 1st seed and gets the highest win differential in lcpl playoffs ever, wins lcpl again AND gets into SCL with Kaboom support (BWLC —> SCL pipeline is real). Got to be the biggest flex since freezai made the LC open the biggest tour on smogon just to win it all a few years ago
rhydonphilip: You once prepped me to play Lily when we had a sub scare we didn’t talk too much outside of that moment but I saw how much work you were putting in thanks for the carry
Jox: Similar to Rhydonphilip we didn’t speak that much but saw how much work was going into your slot glad it payed off
Acehunter1: we’ve teamed up a dozen times always a pleasure glad we finally won one
Brammi: “I have never been so wrong about someone in my entire career and I hope one day you can forgive me” honestly after our lpl run together I thought I was going to sub in for you at some point but you just annihilated the pool with phenomenal teams and even better plays good shit man enjoy the CA you earned it
Always Edgy: getting gains irl and in mons I cannot understate how great of an experience it was to team with you you put in so much work this Lcpl and it shows going positive against an scl level pool legendary run really hope we team up again
TyCarter: we didn’t talk much but I saw you cooking with Brammi and I’m glad the work payed off glad you were with us
Stories: Locked in when we needed you glad you were with us

I generally don’t do s/o when I lose but it isn’t fair for my players who put all effort in this, so I’ll do it.
I failed sorry team, im crying writing this message because I really wanted to win and I put all effort but I’m not good at playing anymore, 4-5 is a shit score and while I’m proud of you all, I’m not proud of myself.
I won’t manage next year, pls give howkings a team next year because he really helped for everything.
Now let’s stop talking about me and focus on what is more important my other manager, my players and my supporters.

-Howkings my goat manager ty for helping me for everything planning the draft, scheduling problems, trusting my decisions, preps and all. Sharing so much love for you, you are a goat cool manager and I really think you will manage again next year you deserve it.

aleaniled GOAT bro 3k was a steal for you, you played your own teams even if I wanted to veto all of them and you always surprised me with these teams, your season was amazing and you were always helpful in team chat and always active ty for everything, hoping to see you going higher for price next time;
Envy1 Another GOAT bro you killed this season, you were crazy bro, I enjoyed everything, everyone told me 20k was too much, now I say I was def right 20k was a fair price for you for what you did and how well you played. He helped for everything, testing preparing sv and all, ty;
Fantos13 hey bro first of all I want to apologise to you if I was too strict, I knew you could do better but my behaviour wasn’t fair for you especially in finals so really really sorry. Even if your season wasn’t the best, you were always active and I would draft you again and again, you are a nice and strong player and really kind, ty for being the dpp goat;
genisu im sorry I didn’t give you the opportunity to play, even if I did this to you, you were always helpful testing sharing ideas and so on, he was a nice presence in teamchat, he wasn’t toxic. Ty for everything bro I missed you;
gorex ty bro you had an amazing season, you were helpful testing, giving dpp advices, having a cool attitude in team chat and everything;
kythr you are always the best, we wanted you so much and you were amazing as always. Ty for being the best in playing, testing, talking in team chat, you were never being arrogant even if you are so strong, even managing with us, giving us advices for tie, lu and all, really ty;
Lizzie you are the third person I have to apologise, sorry if I didn’t give you the opportunity to play. You were a nice retain and I’m so glad to have drafted you, ty for your availability and sorry;
Luigi bro you clutched an important win and make us win that week. Even if you aren’t a lc mainer you did everything you could do and everything I could ask from you, ty for giving everything;
Mister Magnus MVP of this lcpl and I’m pretty sure about it. 3k was a big big steal you deserve more. Mister magnus was one of the best teamchat presences, he isn’t toxic as some can think, he put all effort, he did everything amazingly, he was a nice discovery for me, he made us winning in semis and going in tiebreak for finals.
He is the real MVP of this season, ty for everything;
Shrug my goat Inter player. Everyone laughed when I replaced genisu with you, they were all wrong on you. You clutched two important wins where sm slot should have been the worst. You played really well, you talk less but always make good results, ty for everything bro always a pleasure teaming with you;
Wesleyy Last but not least Wesley was the real mascot of my team, he put all effort more than me, testing, preparing and his attitude was amazing.
I would pay again 3k or more for having him. His chat presence was essential for making poffs and everything. Ty for everything bro you are one of the kindest men in this community;

i'm happy that we could end our season on a positive note, and i'm very proud of our team for overcoming all the adversity we faced to even get to this point. we can definitely hold our heads high. and of course, congrats to the piplups! you guys deserved it :)

I honestly expected it to be less painful, as I gave everything i could possible do and fate decided otherwise, Monday came and I finally realized that it was over 10 weeks of work, pain, concentration, focus on winning the next game and it is all done.
Ofc I wanted to win it all but after all the things i went through this past year I guess I deserve some self celebration, as well as being grateful of the Blessing of Allah the one and only that gifted me with incredible teammates over the course of those 10 weeks.
Even with "not winning", I still wanna left a message that God is super giving and is always watching our good deeds our hard work and that nothing is in vain.
Ofc I wanted to win it all but after all the things i went through this past year I guess I deserve some self celebration, as well as being grateful of the Blessing of Allah the one and only that gifted me with incredible teammates over the course of those 10 weeks.

It shows that 2nd place is the first loser, but hold on to the feeling of losing so winning feels even better
