Welcome to LCPL XIV! This tournament will have eight teams and ten slots, from SV to ADV LC.​

Rules

• Follow all rules listed here.
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling. However, if you do not schedule through Smogon VMs, please post all logs of scheduling and manager pings, so I can make accurate activity calls.
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
• Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
• Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

Remoraiders (5) vs (5) Cosmogpolitans

SV: bleahey vs Fogbound Lake - Fogbound beat Juan in semis, and while it wasn't a perfect game, he is still a very impressive player and I would count on bleahey making more mistakes.
SV: Éric vs Laroxyl - Laro's last 2 games vs starsama were very impressive. I have to give him the edge here
SV: Colin vs Taka - in Grand Slam semis and I think he will win comfortably
SV: Kaboom vs Eniigma - This is probably the most interesting matchup. Two SCL-level or at least SCL-adjacent LCers, this could very well be an SCL matchup. I would say Kaboom wins if he preps for nymble LOL but you never know what you're going to get playing eniigma.
SWSH: Raichy vs Greedy_eb - greedy looks better and he won in tiebreak
USUM: boulicrok vs Voltix - I think Voltix's record is earned but bouli is really good. I think bouli's certainly the better player here
ORAS: Akaru Kokuyo vs Heysup - see my watashi shoutout. insane psychopath
BW: Nashrock vs Piyu - I think both have not looked at their best in this tier, but Piyu will make the plays needed to win despite some mistakes
DPP: reggg vs LeJames Chonk - LOOOOOOOOL hello why did they put cooper in dpp. I'm sorry bro but this game is not going to be close LMAO
ADV: Alder ST vs Lialiabeast - crit, burn, speed tie

The Cosmogs are more top heavy while the remoraiders don't really have any super weak slots. So, I didn't realize this until I tallied but I guess I'm predicting a tiebreak... not going into who is gonna pick what but here's about what I predict:

SV: Colin vs Laroxyl - outside chance upset but this isn't more than 40-60 in either direction
SV: Eric/Kaboom vs Eniigma - nymble axew shellder torchic or tera grass psyduck rain will pull through
SS: boulicrok vs Greedy_eb - let's be real, greedy has had an excellent tour so far, but bouli is definitely the favorite here.

some other possibilities, cocos could pick dpp or the like. great series between teams that I didn't necessarily have on my radar when the tournament started.
