Yes I know this team is bad and I should feel bad but really I wanted to make a team that could cheese the hell out of people while actually working on the ladder and this is it.
Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Shell Smash
- Toxic
- Infestation
- Stealth Rock
Contrary shell smash shuckle. The goal is to boost def and spdef as high as possible and then stall the enemy out with leftovers recovery, toxic and infestation. The enemy will be tearing their hair out trying to get rid of this little annoying bastard. Even if he is roared out the enemy will still have a ticking time bomb on them in the form of toxic. This is supposed to get rid of any set-up sweeper because shuckle will be so tanky that they can't do anything to him. Also works well to break through non-steel-type tanks because the %HP damage will eat through them.
Blissey (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psychic
Nobody expects choice specs blissey, right? Everyone expects the standard full tank/support blissey. Lo and behold, a boosted ice beam OHKOs the dragon dancing dragonite trying to use blissey as set-up fodder. Or perhaps behold the ferrothorn trying to set up entry hazards. Boosted flamethrower and he is no more. Used as a specially-based attacker that lures in threats, especially offensive set-up sweepers, and then gets rid of them with a boosted attack. Tends to work more than once because opponents don't tend to expect blissey to have this many coverage moves.
Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Transform
Simple use is to revenge-kill any pokemon who manages to knock out any of the other pokemon in this team. Imposter to transform into the enemy and choice scarf to outspeed and kill the other pokemon. The defence EVs are so that ditto has a chance of winning a struggle war against another ditto and Imposter is to transform immediately. Relaxed nature to lower speed prior transformation to make it easier to win a struggle war too.
Ferrothorn @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Curse
- Leech seed/spikes/toxic spikes
Behold curse ferrothorn. Maximum attack and minimum speed makes for the perfect troll curse user and this will make ferrothorn hit hard. Nobody will expect ferrothorn to hit this hard until the KO comes and then by then, unless the enemy has a fire-type move, ferrothorn will wreck face. Since ferrothorn will be so tanky after a couple uses of curse, this set can also effectively wall physical attackers out to get ferrothorn. Leech seed or toxic spikes here will be useful to apply pressure but spikes can also be used for more immediate power.
Kingdra @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Focus Energy
- Draco Meteor
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Fire]
The famous critdra build. Not much to say here, focus energy and crit the hell out of the enemy pokemon. The answer to fire-type moves aimed at ferrothorn since there's a 4x resistance to them, the aim is to switch in, set up focus energy and then sweep the enemy team with crits galore. Hidden power fire provides good coverage against a good number of steel-types that this team has difficulty with dealing with such as Scizor.
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 28 Def / 236 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Protect
Classic subtoxic bulky gliscor here. Earthquake for a coverage move to deal with grounded steel types that aren't affected by toxic and decent speed investment to allow him to outrun several key threats. The aim of this pokemon, like shuckle, is to slowly and methodically remove as many pokemon as possible as well as to potentially spread toxic throughout the enemy team, allowing for the rest of the pokemon on my team to set-up and clean house.
