League of Pokemon

Introduction: Hello, Seoulwolf here. I am the guy that leveled all of his Pokemon to level 100 in Red/Blue and had titanic fights with my friends. In short, I have been playing Pokemon since it was first released, but I have only been battling competitively since gen IV ish. Here is a team I have been playing with on Pokemon Showdown, and I win around 80% of my games with it. Because I play on my iPhone, I have no idea what my current rank is with the team, but I usually win, unless I do something very stupid.

(Udyr) Entei
Item: Flame Plate
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Pressure
252 Hp/252 Atk/4 Spe
Bulldoze
Sacred Fire
Extreme Speed
Stone Edge

As his name suggests, he kind of runs into the frey on fire (Just like his name sake), deals out "tons of damage" (Even without a sunfire Cape) while soaking up a decent amount himself. The burn chance on Sacred Fire is his claim to fame. In most other cases Arcanine out classes him, but Entei now has the upper hand. Extreme Speed is used for revenge killing, and stone edge is for coverage. Bulldoze is really only there for Heatran, who would otherwise wall this set. We will not pity the defenseless.

(Cho'Gath) Black-Kyurem
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Lonely
Ability: Teravolt
56 Hp/76 Atk/138 SpA/ 238 Spe
Substitute
Fusion Bolt
Earth Power
Ice Beam

Cho'Gath is a beast that can tank hits and dish out decent damage through his ultimate ability. In a similar way, Black-Kyurem is not meant to fully sweep a team, but to bust up some walls and come out ahead. His EV spread is investing some in bulk, Atk to help out Fusion Bolt, SpA for his other two attacks which hit Rotom-w and Landorus/Gliscor/dragons hard. And the speed is for letting it get ahead where needed. Scolipede was replaced by this monster because he wasn't quite as helpful as he he could be. The hope is to switch this beast into someone who can't do much and sub right away, then, he can begin his rampage. Afraid of the dark... WISE!

(Kha Zix) Genesect
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Download
4 Atk/252 SpA/252 Spe
Ice Beam
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
U-turn

Kha zix jumps in and out of fights, slaying champions left and right. There is no difference between him and Genesect. At first, I liked the idea of him being able to switch attacks, but later I realized that was not enough. At 99 base speed, he can't sweep without setup, and I already have enough setup mons on my team. Therefore I tried him with a choice scarf, and my mind was blown. I lead with him 99% of the time, because he can simply U-turn out on the first move and score some free damage. The other attacks are coverage and hit really hard when I get the right download. Fear the Void!

(Anivia) Latias
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
252 Hp/4 SpA/252 Spe
Defog
Draco Meteor
Wish
Thunderbolt

Aniva usually sits in the back dealing "tons of damage", but this is more of a support version of her. In reality, I chose Latias because some of my main mons are weak to Stealth Rock and I don't have any entry hazards myself, so wiping the field of hazards didn't effect me negatively at all. And Latias is pretty tanky, allowing me to continually bring her in. Draco Meteor and Thunderbolt are just coverage moves for my team. Draco Meteor is mainly for other dragons. I shall endure.

(Urgot) Rotom-W
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Levitate
252 Hp/252 Def/4 SpA
Hydro Pump
Will-o-Wisp
Pain SPlit
Volt Switch
In a similar way to Urgot's Ultimate of switching places, my Rotom-W switches around using Volt-Switch, but is capable of tanking damage, just like Urgot, spreading burns and pain splitting healthy mons for added life. He is hard to take down without a grass-type move, and is able to switch into many different attacks and absorb damage for me, and then heal it off. The gift of eternal pain.

(Nocturne) Pinsir
Item: Pinsirite
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Moxie (Aerilate)
252 Hp/252 Atk/4 Spe
Return
Quick Attack
Close Combat
Earthquake
My final Pokemon is M-Pinsir. I couldn't find a great champion to name him after, so I went for his style instead of looks for comparison. In this, Nocturne and M-Pinsir are very similar; they dive in, and kill things. M-Pinsir was one of the megas I kept hearing about, but I decided to actually try him out, and was very happy with what I got. Quick Attack allows him to revenge kill and while Return turns into a 132.6 BP STAB move. Close Combat and Earthquake are for coverage. I sense fear...

So here's my team. Please rate below.

hey I have a team very similiar to this...in fact it used to be exactly this..but I got rid of scolipede for landorus. Anyway I went back to testing this team on PS and I think I have some suggestions that should help your team out while maintaining the same idea for the team.

For entei I suggest using a choice band because it is a noticeable difference and gets some pretty surprising OHKOs. If you want to keep the power and ability to switch moves then try Life Orb. But I think flame plate is just not as good as choice band, so give it a try.

Like I said, when I had this team I felt like scolipede didnt have much usefulness, but if you are having success you can keep him, but the only things that benefit from a swords dance pass on your team are entei and pinsir. So idk if you want to change it let me know and I will give more suggestions on it.

Genesect is a monster and should be ubers imo, but until then this set is perfect.

Latias is a good defogger and this set is good

the new standard rotom ev spread is looking more like this 252 HP/212 Def/44 Spd to outspeed Jolly Azumarill, because azumarill is a huge problem after a bellydrum, this way you can burn it or volt switch and kill it.

Pinsir is a good but the moveset seems odd to me, I personally have Swords Dance/EQ/Return? and QA, I think that is a good moveset but if you want to keep close combat maybe get rid of stone edge for EQ.

Anyway all of theses are just suggestions take whatever you want...I hope I helped Cheers!

Thanks for the help, I am actually thinking of switching out Scolipede for Black-Kyurem, but am unsure as of yet. I have heard about choice band Entei and how he can pretty much just destroy anything with Sacred Fire, minus Heatran or flash fire Chandelure. I do like switching attacks, but I think I will try switching the item for CB. I have already traded stone edge for EQ for Aegislash. I'll see how the updated team works, thanks again!

MegaScizor Jolly Azumarill >_>

That was only for 0 Speed Rotom. Not worth the giant power/bulk loss.

seoulwolf Psyshock Latias is pointless if its only for MVenusaur because it doesn't even 3HKO. Even though you are defensive, 4 SpA Latias Draco Meteor OHKOs Salamence, Haxorus, and almost Hydreigon. Try it out, I can tell you from a little VGC experience (4 battles compared to thousands in singles, but the point stays) that it even works there

I will try out Thunderbolt and Draco Meteor on Latais instead, so I am not setup fodder for Azumarill. On Rotom-W, I think I agree with you. Now that I think about it, everyone runs 252Hp/252Atk Adamant Azumarill, not Jolly, so I put the EV's back into bulk. Thanks for your feed back, and I will update when I'm done testing, but I have switched out Scolipede for Black-Kyurem (Cho Gath). So far, I have enjoyed his bulk and power.
