Introduction:
Hey guys, this is my third RMT here, and it's been quite successful. 20 games, 16 wins and just 4 losses. I named it Legend of the Legends, because it has three legendaries

. Without much ado, here we go!

In Depth:
251.png
@ Occa Berry ** Time

Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest
EV's: 76HP/180Spe/252Sp.Atk
Moveset:
~ Stealth Rock
~ Earth Power
~ Leaf Storm
~ U-Turn
Comments: I tried out LeadCelebi as an experiment, and it has worked out really well. Set the rocks on the first turn, Earth Power OHKO's LeadTran, Leaf Storm OHKO's LeadPert, and U-Turn for switching. This pokemon works well with:
485.png
@ Life Orb ** Magma

Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Timid
EV's: 4Atk/252Sp.Atk/252Spe
Moveset:
~ Fire Blast
~ Earth Power
~ Hidden Power (Electric)
~ Explosion
Comments: This is the standard special sweeper Heatran set. Celebi and Scizor are baits to activate Flash Fire, after which Heatran is deadly. Earth Power for foe Heatran's, and HP Electric is an OHKO on Gyarados. Explode after his job is done.

94.png
@ Life Orb ** Boo
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EV's: 4Def/252Sp.Atk/252Spe
Moveset:
~ Shadow Ball
~ Focus Blast
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power (Fire)
Comments: Beware of Boo! It is scary and deadly! It can OHKO Rotom-A's, OHKO Tyranitar, Empoleon, Scizor and whatnot.

212.png
@ Life Orb ** Sweep

Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EV's: 252Atk/224Spe/32HP.
Moveset:
~ Swords Dance
~ Bullet Punch
~ Superpower
~ Bug Bite
Comments: The standard SDScizor, and my standard love. Only Gyarados resists all it's attacks, SD + LO + Technician + STAB + Bullet Punch = DEATH.

130.png
@ Life Orb ** Dragon

Nature: Adamant
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 4Def/ 252atk/252spe
Moveset:
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Stone Edge
~ Earthquake
Comments: Another team for me, another Gyarados in it.... I'm being tired now of keeeping a Gyarados in my teams
happy2.gif
! This Dancing Dragon can easily sweep teams with Dragon Dance and the rest, my Gyarados/Salamence counter.

380.png
@ Leftovers ** Uber

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EV's: 4HP/252Spe/252Sp.Atk
Moveset:
~ Surf
~ Calm Mind
~ Dragon Pulse
~ Recover
Comments: Latias should be Uber. Once on Smogon, I got 6 Calm Minds, and it just loled at the opponent. A beastly sweeper, only Empoleon resists it's attacks, and Recover to live.

Overall

Hello =]

For Gengar I suggest you go with either MysticGar, or SubGengar. According to your team I would go with MysticGar, since I dont think you can bare to lose potentially >25% each turn, with SS+SR at least.

Gengar@Life Orb
Timid
EV: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Protect
~ Shadow Ball
~ Focus Blast
~ Hidden Power Fire

Since some of the most common counters for Gengar are; Scizor, and Tyranitar you cant mis-predict and lose 'Gar. Protect to scout which move and act accordingly. And it's straight from the Analysis, so any further questions you can read there.

Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, and Hidden Power Fire give Gengar great coverage, and Protect allows for general scouting. Life Orb is necessary, as many Choice Band Tyranitar run a lot of Special Defense, and without Life Orb the OHKO with Focus Blast is nonexistent. The EVs maximize Speed so that Gengar can both outspeed Adamant Choice Scarf Scizor and Infernape and have a 50% chance of outspeeding other Hidden Power Fire Gengar.
Protect allows Gengar to defeat most versions of the two Pokemon that give it the most difficulty in the Platinum metagame: Pursuit Tyranitar and Bullet Punch + Pursuit Scizor. After Gengar has switched in and Tyranitar or Scizor have then switched in as well, Gengar will first use Protect to see if Tyranitar or Scizor uses Pursuit. If either Pokemon uses Pursuit, Gengar will use the proper move to OHKO it. If neither Pokemon uses Pursuit, Gengar can safely switch out. Note that even with Protect, Gengar needs to remain wary of non-Choiced Scizor with Bullet Punch and Pursuit and Choice Scarf Tyranitar with Pursuit.
This specific version of Gengar acts as a great lure for many of Gengar's counters. As such, having a Pokemon that benefits from having Pokemon like Scizor eliminated makes for a great partner. Gengar lures out and eliminates Scizor, for example, and then Pokemon like Latias can sweep easier, as one of its main counters has been eliminated. Latias can also greatly enjoy Tyranitar being significantly weakened or even eliminated by a a super effective Focus Blast from Gengar. Other offensive Pokemon such as Salamence and Tyranitar can significantly benefit from there counters weakened, and thus are great partners.
It should be noted that Pokemon that can beat the aforementioned counters should be also considered as partners for this Gengar. For example, Gengar can OHKO a Scizor with Hidden Power Fire if it uses Pursuit, but will need a Magnezone to trap and eliminate a Scizor that is using Bullet Punch.

Another object I dont understand is why your Gyarados has Leftovers, especially since it only has 4 Defence EVs. I would suggest having Life orb over Leftovers with adds much needed strength to Gyarados. Since its also Adamant the extra power will really help. Another thing I would like to point out is the nature itself. With adamant Jolteon outspeeds you, and other Scarfers such as Heatran can revenge kill you. Changing it to Jolly would help. However you have Latias as a secondary resist I think Adamant would suffice. A added comment would be Gyarados is a very unstable Gyarados counter since a +1 Stone Edge OHKO with those EVs.
Code:
383 Atk vs 195 Def & 331 HP (100 Base Power): 364 - 430 (109.97% - 129.91%)
The calculations has in it, Stealth Rock, and your Gyarados coming into it and Intimadating it, and the opposing Gyarados having Life Orb. And Gyarados is a terriable Zapdos counter, since a Thunderbolt easily KOs.
Code:
286 Atk vs 236 Def & 331 HP (95 Base Power): 496 - 588 (149.85% - 177.64%

I would say that Salamence would easily sweep you after a DD, however it has difficulty setting up. Just an extra 2 cents.

Please read the RMT rules especially rule #3.

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

You need to improve on your descriptions. Have a look at some of the teams in the RMT archive to see what is expected. Try and stay away from 1-2 line descriptions. Explain why you chose a Pokemon, what it does, how does it contribute to the success of the team, etc. If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes and I'll unlock your thread.
