Let the UnderUsed rise to the top!

So guys, this is my 5-Minutes Smogon UnderUsed-Team. It really took less than 5 Minutes and turned out to be freakin' successfull. I don't really want to change big keymembers so please show some understanding :D So, let's get ready to rumbleeeeee :D

-------------------------------------------------------------------
[ Moltres | Toxicroak | Registeel | Clefable | Tangwroth | Rotom ]
-------------------------------------------------------------------

moltres.png

Moltres @ Pecha Berry
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP/148 Def/112 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Roost
- Substitute
- Toxic

Moltres is my Anti-Lead per se. It counters Froslass, Steelix, Hippopotas, Cloyster, Arcanine & Venusaur quite effective. If i face Froslass or Cloyster, then the opponent is obv. going for a switch, so i can Toxic the Switch-Ins like Chansey & Milotic and Sub-Roost the HPs away. His great typing allows it to switch into Fighting, Grass, Bug & Steel-Attacks, so Moltres can easily Sub before I toxic the Counter or just Toxic the Counter and Rthe HPs away. The Pecha Berry is for Toxic-Lead-Arcanines, which wants to Toxic me, because they're usually faster. In that case, I easily Sub and Toxic it.

toxicroak.png

Toxicroak (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Taunt

My Milotic-Counter, in case Moltres should fall. Resists Surf thanks to Dry Skin and is immune to TSpikes, which it absorbs. Stone Edge was replaced for Taunt, because i've seen a RestTlk-Spiritomb-Weak. But i miss Ice Punch against Venusaur if i'm behind the Sub, since FP only damages around 35 %. Which is ok, if i catch it on the switch, so i can go for another FP and then finish it off with Sucker Punch. It's quite annoying if i predict a statusmove like sleep powder and it attacks me or reverse - i predict a quake, but it status' me. Cool Pokémon, didn't expect it to work that good :D

registeel.png

Registeel @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/100 Atk/156 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Toxic
- Rest

Well, honestly, i dont see the point of Registeel in here. Simply covering Dragon & Ice-Attacks is just too insufficent. But it works cool with my next Pokémon. Well, beside the Toxic-Support and the Mismagius-Counter, there isnt much more to do - but i think that's the life, Registeel lives :D My Team is really missing Stealth Rock-Support, so that i probably have to switch for the regular Thunderwave, EQ, IH & SR-Registeel, so i can slow down faster Pokémon like Venusaur to knock it out with Rotom, Clefable or my usually slower Moltres. Otherwise i'm really happy with it, survives a Fire Blast from mixed Blaziken and finish it off with Earthquake - but, that's nothing to rely on.

clefable.png

Clefable (M) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP/152 Def/4 Spd/100 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Encore
- Wish
- Seismic Toss
- Aromatherapy

This thing is soooo lovely :D Encores Calm Minders, Stealth-Rockers and Roarers and helps my Moltres & Toxicroak with Wish-Support. On my team, even if its a 5-Minutes-Team, only Registeel & Tangrowth are weak to Spikes, Moltres is the only weak point, who is weak to Stealth Rock. The other half of my team doesnt rly care about entry hazards, or soaks Water up like Toxicroak to restore HPs. Aromatherapy is a help for Moltres, Toxicroak & Tangrowth, if a burn or toxic wants to cross my plans.

tangrowth.png

Tangrowth (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP/228 Def/28 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Sleep Powder
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed

Even it's pretty annoying, its another weak point of my team. No immunity neither to Spikes nor to T-Spikes makes its hard a little bit harder. But it provides cool Team-Support with SleepPowder & Leech Seed, so it can Leech an opponent an switch to Croak or something else to finish it off. Knocks some items of the foes pokémon and Sleep-Seed supports my switch-in if something is slower or less dangerous to my team, so i can drag their life slowly down. Also a good Rock Polish-Torterra Counter.

rotom.png

Rotom @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Discharge
- Will-o-wisp

This little guy here is just spreading some Status around and helps with Para- and Burn-Support, so i can prepare a Moltres or Toxicroak Sweep. It's the normal RestTlk Set for maximum bulk and a guaranteed duability. I'm missing some power behind this little bulb anyway, so help this little bulb to become a big lamp. I'm playing with the idea, to replace the RestTlk-Set with a Scarf or even a Band-Trick, since Rotoms usual Counters are from the special side of the attacking spectrum.

So - i hope the descriptions are long enough - i didnt really have a plan what else to add :x

Thanks for reading & happy rating ^__^

Suggestions:
~ Lum Berry > Pecha.
~ Thunderwave or Stealth Rocks > A Move.

Moltres-lum berry will prove more useful as it works on all status' rather than poison
Registeel-changing toxic to thunder wave seems much more useful, seeing as moltres can already toxic stall
Clefable-if your really worried about being paralyzed or put to sleep, then use flame orb, if not leftovers can keep that helpful member of your team around a bit longer
Tangrowth-having a better spatk stat would compel me to use a relaxed nature and grass knot/leaf storm

hope i helped[:

Hello,

The first thing that came to my mind with your team was your lack of entry hazards. I would definitely use Stealth Rock on Registeel, especially since you have a reliable spin blocker and your team is really stallish. Drop rest on it because Clefable will be able to keep it at health. Also use ThunderWave over Toxic. Your team can definitely make use of the Paralysis and you already have a Toxic user.
Also you should use Lum Berry over Pecha on Moltres. This won't only protect you from the rere Toxic Arcanine lead but especially also from Scarf sleeper keads like Venusaur.
Toxicroak is okay so far as it's you only answer to Stall and your best to water types in general. Try to keep it alive with Clefable because it's very frail.
Clefable is no doubt the most important menber of your team. The set is fine.
Your rotom set is also fine.

Hope I could help. Good Luck !

Probably don't want leaf storm on a wallish pokemon. Grass knot doesnt do much damage in UU. If you wanted to go special energy ball seems the best option. But that represents a drop in power even with higher SpA, though it still may do more damage to the likes of torterra due to his high defense. Its up to you but i advocate Power Whip.

Agreeing with lum on Moltres
Agreeing with SR on Registeel. Though im indifferent between Toxic/ Twave. Twave fits with your late game sweeps, Toxic fits the stall theme. I think the Rest/ Heal bell combo is useful. If you are keen to keep that and ease the pressure on Clefable then use SR over status as you have plenty of status already.
Well, honestly, i dont see the point of Registeel in here. Simply covering Dragon & Ice-Attacks is just too insufficent.
Should probably also mention it is a good check for Raikou while he is still UU.
