Let's go to the Beach!! (A Sandstorm Team)

The goal of this team was originally to use a rock polish landorus set that looked potentially interesting.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/ 64 SpA/ 192 SpD
Nature: Sassy
- Stealth Rock
- Crunch
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam

If I am going to use Landorus, I should have a sandstorm going to get the sheer force boost. This is the standard mixed set, and Stealth Rock helps to turn 2hko's into ohkos. Of all the pokes on my team so far, this set is the one I am least sure about. Apart from setting up sandstorm, I don't find myself using Tyranitar that much.

Weaknesses:
Grass: Lucario, Latios
Bug: Lucario, and to a lesser extent Jellicent, Landorus, and Gyarados
Water: Jellicent, and also Latios and Gyarados
Fighting: Jellicent, also Latios, Landorus, and Gyarados
Ground: Gyarados, Latios, and Landorus are all immune to Ground.
Steel: Jellicent, Lucario, and Gyarados

Landorus @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 252 Atk/ 4 SpA/ 252 Spe
Nature: Naive
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Rock Polish
- Hidden Power Ice

Earthquake and Stone Edge provide excellent coverage, resisted only by Breloom, Virizion, and Torterra. Hidden Power Ice hits Gliscor hard, as well as Torterra, which i wouldn't see anyway. Rock polish boosts my speed significantly, allowing me to outspeed excadrill in a sandstorm. For Virizion and Breloom whom I can't touch I switch into Gyarados, get the intimidate, and hit back with bounce for super effective damage.

Weaknesses:
Ice: Jellicent, Lucario
Water: Jellicent, and also Latios and Gyarados

Gyarados @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Bounce
- Outrage

Gyardos is a great counter for the grass/fighting types that resist Landorus's physical attacks. Intimidate forces a switch, and allows me to get a free dragon dance off. Waterfall and bounce are STABs, and Outrage deals good damage. The Lum Berry heals me of status, and allows me to take spores from breloom.

Weaknesses:
Electric: Landorus, Latios to a lesser extent
Rock: Lucario

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Nature: Bold
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt

Pretty straightforward. Hydro Pump is a powerful STAB, while Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers. Recover is a reliable means of recovery, and taunt cripples slower walls.

Weaknesses:
Grass: Lucario, Latios
Electric: Landorus, also Latios
Ghost: Tyranitar and Lucario
Dark: Lucario, also Tyranitar

Latios @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

A standard Latios set. Draco Meteor coming off of 358 special attack does lots of damage to anything that doesn't resist it. Thunderbolt, HP Fire, and Psyshock provide excellent coverage.

Weaknesses:
Dragon: Lucario, and Jellicent can take a few hits.
Ice: Jellicent, Lucario
Dark: Lucario, also Tyranitar
Ghost: Tyranitar and Lucario
Bug: Lucario, also Gyarados, Landorus, and Jellicent

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Extremespeed
- Close Combat
- Crunch

Lucario has excellent synergy with Latios. Lucario loves switching in on dark attacks aimed at Jellicent and Latios, and also forces a lot of switches, allowing me to swords dance. Close Combat and Crunch provide excellent coverage resisted only by Toxicroak and Heracross, while extremespeed picks off weakened pokemon. I dislike the life orb recoil, although Lucario misses the extra power. I am considering giving it an air balloon to give it another chance to switch in, and to force more switches.

Weaknesses:
Fire: Tyranitar, Jellicent, Latios, and Gyarados
Ground: Gyarados, Latios, and Landorus are all immune to Ground.
Fighting: Jellicent, Gyarados, Landorus, and Latios.
