Lets see what we can do (OU)

I wold like to thank panamaxis andJLei2k for making their team thriller for with out that I would have not thought to add on forretress and swampert. I have been working on this team for way to long and just glad that it has come to a finish and to get results on the team.
Finally the team at hand

forretress.png

Forretress @ Leftovers
Careful Nature, 252 HP / 252 Special Defense / 4 Attack
Verdana]Spikes
Toxic Spikes
Rapid Spin
Payback

Forretress with spikes toxic spikes along with rapid spin makes a pretty good lead. His main priority is setting up spikes and getting rid of the opponent’s stealth rock and possibly spikes. If he is up against a lead that will give him a lot of trouble like fire blast azelf, infernape, heatran, and some tyranitars it means it is time to switch to swampert to take them out and put up my own stealth rocks. Toxic spikes are mainly to help out with suicunes counters so she can come in and sweep easier. Forretress last move payback helps with the rotoms running around and latias with if needed other ghost types. The main reason fortress is leading off is because it can be hard to bring him in later in the game.
Dark_Swampert_by_SilverDolphin324.jpg

Swampert @ Leftovers
Relaxed Nature, 252 HP / 240 Defense / 16 Special Attack
Stealth Rock
Ice Beam
Earthquake
Roar

Mixpert fits in well with this team. He sets up stealth rocks after forretress gets most to all of his spikes down witch normally is one right after the other. With swamperts resistances he makes a great pokemon to team up with forretress. As for his move set, earthquake is his main attack with ice beam hitting everything that earthquake cant. Roar is there to help phase all the pokemon that are dragon dancing and calm minding up, which helps out with the spikes and SR that are up. With this swampert he helps out with tyranitar and annoying dragon types that can be a pain.
Zapdos-1.png

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Bold Nature, 248 HP / 228 Defense / 32 Speed
Heat Wave
Hidden Power [Grass]
Roost
Roar

With zapdos I ripped the physically defensive set straight from smogon. The main difference is that I am not using thunder bolt on this set. I know it is strange but I have my reasons. I have zapdos here as my main counter to all the steel types out there as well as swampert. Steels like scizor and lucario are no laughing matter. They have been known to take out a whole team. That is why heat wave is there. Of course you guessed it hidden power grass is for swampert who can be tough depending on the version. Stealth rocks are no friend to this bird so roost was in order to get back that lost HP. As for raor it is always nice to have two pokemon that utilize the entry hazards that get laid out at the begging of the match.
Heat_Rotom_by_Zaikudo.png

Rotom-H @ Leftovers
Bold Nature, 252 HP / 156 Defense / 100 Special Defense)
Discharge
Will O Wisp
Rest
Sleep Talk

Rotom hast a lot on his shoulders as he is a spin blocker, status absorber, as well as burning and a good chance to paralyze anything that cant be poisoned. I chose rotom-h to help trick my opponent into think he is carrying over heat. Will O Wisp is there so he just doesn’t sit asleep and get pursuited to death. Discharge was chosen over thunder bolt just for the fact of the higher percent of paralyzing. The power drop really isn’t to bad once you have used it in a match. This rotom still does decent against gyarados and other water types. In the long run it is gonna be hard for anyone to set up on this thing any time soon.
suicune_by_kankakanka-2.jpg

Suicune @ Leftovers
Bold Nature, 252 HP / 240 Defense / 16 Speed
Calm Mind
Surf
Rest
Sleep Talk

Suicune is one of my favorite pokemon. Up until now I have never been able to fit her into a team. I chose crocune because when used right she is very difficult to take down. As being my second status absorber if need be; if someone is unprepared can take down a majority of a team if not all six. The main that helps out suicune is all the entry hazards that are laid out early game. This set is easy to use. Come when when you can to get one or two calm minds. After the calm minds surf until you need to use rest.
920Gengar20ex.jpg

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Modest Nature, 4 Defense / 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed
Thunder Bolt
Hidden Power [Ice]
Shadow Ball
Trick

The last guy that people hate messing around with. I introduce my revenge killer scarfgar. This guy is quick, and with all those entry hazards if he needs to be brought in will kill most things in his way. First off he is my second spin blocker which comes in handy in case I loose my rotom. After that is I some how got toxic spikes on my side and forretress could not get rid of them gengar does that as well for suicune to come in unscathed. Thunder bolt is for all those water types mainly gyarados who are running around. Hidden power Ice is most of the time a one hitter quiter to all dragons but kingdra. Shadow ball is there for stab and other ghost types that come in like rotom. To end this guy I gave him trick which is really only used in three situation. Firstl, when I need to stop a pokemon from setting up and force the switch. Second, it helps with stall teams to mess up their synergy. Lastly, when gengar is not needed anymore as a revenge killer I trick away the scarf to mess up anything I can for my opponent. I hate using trick early in the game but if I have to I will.

Now is time for the fun part. You guys it is all on you rate, hate, steal

How This Team Came Together

First I started by knowing i was gonna use scarfgar, crosune, and rotom. I liked these guys alot and wanted to do somthing with them on a team. I was stuck looking at these thre guys forever.
Next I added

After seeing the the team thriller and saw how well these two worked togeather I added them onto the team with no regrets. They happen to work well togeather to get all the entry hazards up.

Lastly I added

Not know what to put in only knowing that I wanted something else to help with steels and a fighting chance against swampert I came across zapdos and fell in love.

Nice looking team, but I feel like you aren't really abusing the Toxic Spikes as well as you could. You have three solid Pokemon who could do that job, (Suicune, Rotom, Zapdos) but since your Zapdos is already defensive oriented, I would suggest changing him. Add Sub over HP grass, since with TS stalling Swampert will die from just being worn down. From a Strategy standpoint, I'd be very careful with Gengar as you depend on it for a lot.

Anyway, Good Luck with your team!
