Levitating metal steel Dragon , Full of electricity.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 210 HP/80 Def/140 SAtk/80 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Explosion
- Charge Beam
- Psychic
---

The star of the team. None expects it to be a specially oriented Bronzong , thus they allow him to attack and in the meanwhile also setup. Rain dance helps him , and gives Kingdra a sweeping chance. Explosion can be used against Blissey. Skarmory and Hyppowdon other physical walls will easilly become it's victims while Infernapes often get treated with an unexpected Psychic .

Azelf leads may be a problem however. If not Koed i explode or i choose to switch to kingdra , or spiritomp.

Kingdra (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Waterfall
- Rest
---

A good Sweeper with few weakness. The rest of the team usually can take out out skarmory , so it can be used for a late sweep as long as an early one. Rest also helps in that regard. It can take a hit or two as well.

If the oppositions pokemon is inflicted by a curse they often have to switch which also gives time to setup.

Spiritomb (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/120 Def/120 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Sucker Punch
- Pain Split
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
---

Very Bulky. Unexpected. And can damage things which are focused on either defense or special defense. It fares pretty well against skarmory as well with boosted shadow ball + priority move + curse doing well against curse skarmory. In general i use curse as a last strike move , when it can't do much else.

It helps Kingdra and Raiku to setup. And it can counter other Ghosts on it's own and in general it does well versus a lot of threats due to it's bulckiness and ability to strike where they are weak.

Rotom-h @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 200 HP/120 Def/60 Spd/120 SAtk/10 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Overheat
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
---

This team's revenge killer. Scizor's counter. Also Bulky , can handle well most steels . And the occasional rozerade ,Breloom which i let sleep someone else. Tricking choice scarf can be used against Blissey.

I like electricity stab , it's reliable against many threats. In many ways Rotom here attempts to counter the same threats Zaptos counters , only without the stone edge weakness. If one of the two fails the other one may do the job.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 110 HP/200 Spd/200 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Discharge
- Substitute
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power [Grass]
---

Hidden power grass is for Swampert. Zaptos most often than not just attacks , it doesn't often get the opportunity to take advantage of substitute.

I find both him and rotom to be reliable fast damage dealers who cover up a lot of threats and can most often deal more damage to everything than they take. A reliable Steels counter as well.

Raikou @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 110 HP/200 Spd/200 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
---

This one , i am not sure about and thinking of replacing. It usually attacks , something switches , it earthquakes it , and Raiku can at most do 50% against it.

Even if i can get a calm mind in , and i can often do so. It is not always enough.

Maybe i am doing something wrong. However it is a good rotom counter. And on that matter (and against other but rare specially oriented electrics) he hasn't done that bad. Until they switch... But good against rotom i guess. And it helps that other members of the team has something they can use against it. And can do 50 something against a lot of things...

I already explained some of the inner strategies of this team. It attempts to be Bulky offense with some surprises in the mix and the usual Pokemons with moves that provide good coverage.

And my theme i guess where pokemon with few weakness. And each of one , having weakness (or in the case of spiritomp , no weakness) that the other ones did not share.

Hello

Teams normally like to have the support of Stealth Rock or at leat some entry hazzards ((Toxic) Spikes). I suggest putting them on Bronzong and take out Rain Dance since the only one benefiting from Rain Dance is Kingdra, who, after a couple of DD's can outspeed most enemies.

After Curse Spiritomb has lost half of it's HP, this will also force your opponent to switch out. Spiritomb really likes a kind of recovery move so I suggest Pain Split here, which really helps when your opponent switch out to a full health pokemon when you cursed another.

Hope this helped!

For Bronzong I recomend the Evs 252Hp/86Satk/176Def with a Sassy nature to provide heavy physical bulk because after Rain Dance Fire Blast and Flamethrower wont do to much damage. Also you should try Thunder and HP water/ice over Charge Beam and Psychic. Thunder has perfect acuracy and a 30% paralyze while hp Water/Ice for better coverage though hp Water gets psuedo Stab in rain.

For Spiritomb I like the suprise though I recommend 252Hp/252Def/6Atk with a Relaxed nature because Calm Mind Raises Spdef. Like Black Scizor said use Pain split over Curse. Pain Split is way more reliable.

On Rotom just max Satk and Speed with a Modest nature as those evs seam kind of random .You could try Thunder over T-bolt.

Kingdra could have Rain Dance over rest so it can set for itself up while 'Zong sets up for your assortment of electrics.

Zapdos/Leftovers/Bold
248Hp/228Def/32Spe
Thunder/Roost/Hp Grass/Roar
since Rain Dance weakens Heat wave and boost Thunder's acuracy.

And Raikou should be Max Satk/Max Spe with Thunder over T-bolt.

I hope i helped. :toast:

Nah i think Psychic - charge beam is a better combo. Stab Psychic is really necessary move IMO for it. While charge beam allows it to nicely set up and kill things. If i would replace charge beam with Thunder i would leave Psychic there.

To tell the truth , it is not often that i use rain dance , that is simply not my playstyle with this team. It is not a move i was basing my team around. I was thinking about the changes your are recommending and i am not sure whether they would have a positive or a negative effect on the team as a whole.

i do like the pain split over curse suggestion though.

Anyway , i will test my team implementing the suggestions you recommended to see how well it does.

(only with a few changes like leaving Psychic on Bronzong and maybe some else.)

Thanks a lot. Any other comments ?

edit , your bronzong EVs are wrong. They are 514 instead of 510. I assume 84 and 174 instead of 86 and 176

Bronzong also does not learn thunder.

I am also sondering why use roar with Zapdos. It's not like my team sets up any kind of spikes.

It does not seem to be a stalling team either. Anyways . I am wondering if the whole "use thunder under rain dance" thing would work so off i go to test it.

Well since you don't really have a status absorber and you're missing a recovery move on Spiritomb you could try to change him to a Rest-talk version:

442.png

Spiritomb @ leftovers/ calm/ pressure

252 HP, 96 Def, 160 SDef

- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Shadow Ball
- HP fighting

--> Spiritomb can absorb Sleep moves like Spore, Sleep Powder, ... or other status moves and Rest them off. Spiritomb also has the defenses to stay in for 2 turns without the risk of being KO'ed. I opted for 2 attacking moves here and both Shadow Ball and HP fighting gives you near perfect coverage.

hope this suggest helps ^^

EDIT: Use a timid nature on Scarfed Rotom
