hi! the clefairies wont be doing open tryouts and we dont have a public server, but if you'd like to be picked up by us:
- send either scionicle or i a pm (here or discord) with replays, tour results, or other things you think you can contribute w.r.t. playing/building/supporting/etc
- send a fairy fictional congressional district maps
- send scionicle soup recipes

LGPE RU definitly is far more rng reliant than LGPE DOU. RU has the variance in what Pokemon you can get but you are very rarely every dealt a truly bad hand; the level balancing is great and very few Pokemon are bad, most server valuable roles. The skill expression in RU is unarguably higher than DOU imo as RU in comparison has not much variance in the teambuilder; most teams carry the same 4, 5, or even 6 Pokemon as each other, with the lead usually being the same across nearly every team (Alolem), resulting in most games being dependant on nothing but Speed tie wins, critical hits, and full paralysis. RU also does not have 6 starters, by the looks of it, the pool this year for the tier will be incredibly dicey. In comparison, DOU has an incredibly deep and talented pool of players, second only in size and quality in OU.
 
LGPL is not a special place. I'm sure of that. I also think my record would be decent if I had luck in my games. The game never gives me a FRZ, my Aerodactyl doesn't get 2 consecutive flinches, etc. I think with luck in my favor my record would be decent and that statement can be generalized to many other players. LGPL is not as special of a place as I initially thought. LGPL can be broken with luck and preparation.

I want my Mega Aerodactyl to get 2 consecutive Flinches, I want Melmetal Ice Punch freeze, I want Zapdos to get a critical hit Thunderbolt. I want my opponent's mon to full para at the right time. I don't ask or need anything special to get better results.
