[OVERVIEW]
Lickitung can serve as a check to Special Attackers, notably Minun, making Lickitung a consistent asset on many PU teams. With its stellar HP and Special Defense, Lickitungs poor speed is not a problem. Curse Lickitung works best when a it’s checks and counters are eliminated, and it can safely Curse and overwhelm its opponents offensively and defensively. In a slower paced tier, Lickitung has the breathing room to provide great clerical utility, and/or excellent offensive capabilities. CurseTung functions as a premier Special Wall that can hit hard and spread paralysis with it's STAB Body Slam. With great bulk and the ability to win games with Curse, Lickitung is a powerful threat in the tier when provided strong team support to handle Ghost-Types and Normal-resists.

[SET COMMENTS]
Curse is the bread and butter of this build that provide Lickitung with some extra bulk, and some extra firepower to break through walls or serve as a win-condition. Rest offers Lickitung a recovery tool that allow it to shrug off status conditions and damage. Sleep Talk is a valuable addition on this set for its ability to allow Lickitung to attack or further bolster its defenses while asleep. Body Slam is a dependable STAB Normal move for Lickitung to hit hard and spread paralysis. Leftovers is the item of choice because of the extra recovery it provides Lickitung. Leftovers additional recovery can be the difference between a 2HKO or a 3HKO and give Lickitung more chances to click Curse or Rest. A Careful nature, and max HP and SpD investment allow Lickitung to function as a Special Wall on top of being a hard hitting sweeper when able to setup.

Lickitung fits well on teams that desire a Special Wall that can function as a win condition secondarily. Lickitung needs support to get passed counters that are otherwise untouchable, such as Duskull and Gastly. Houndour makes a great pairing to help eliminate these hurdles via pursuit, enabling Lickitung to sweep with Curse. Lickitung also struggles against Normal-resists like Graveler, Magcargo, Mawile, and Shuckle. If given the turns to Curse before entry, Lickitung can outlast and KO the Normal-resists. However, Lickitung is better being preserved for late game when possible, and hence enjoys being paired with strong Physical Walls that can threaten many Normal-resists. An example of this would be Defensive Tangela as it can hit both Steel-types and Rock/Ground-types effectively. Trapinch is another option that can trap and eliminate Lickitung’s checks and counters. Lickitung can also handle Minun with relative ease which is a very valuable asset in this tier. It is typically best to just attack against a Minun until you have surmised whether or not it has Encore. Lickitung faces the threat of encore from potential roadblocks like Abra, and Sealeo too. Additionally, Lickitung needs to be wary of Choice Band Trapinch as it 2HKOs even after a Curse.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Lickitung has the option of running Shadow Ball over Sleep Talk to provide additional coverage and open up options in the Team Builder. This comes at the cost of moving during turns asleep. Return or Double-Edge can be used in place of Body Slam for the additional damage if paralysis spreading isn’t too valuable for Lickitung’s teammates. Earthquake is another useful coverage move that can be used over Rest. This greatly reduces Lickitung’s longevity but makes it a more potent offensive threat with its STAB Normal, Shadow Ball, and Earthquake coverage. This would function as a Curse and Three Attacks set on more offensive team structures. Rest, Sleep Talk, and two attacks is another option that can provide Lickitung longevity and offensive coverage on teams willing to forgo Curse.

Some other options worth mentioning include Knock Off to impede bulkier foes that rely on Leftovers recovery. Toxic is also a great option for wearing down opponents slowly. The above two options could fit nicely over Sleep Talk. Lastly, Swords Dance is a more aggressive option that could be slotted over Curse.

Checks and Counters
===================
*Trapinch*: Lickitung needs to avoid being trapped by Trapinch. Trapinch can 2HKO Lickitung even after a Curse. However, Trapinch does need to be wary of potential paralysis from Lickitung’s Body Slam.

*Ghosts*: Unless opting for Shadow Ball coverage, Lickitung has no way to touch the strong Ghost Types of the tier such as Duskull and Gastly. Until the oppositions Ghost Pokemon are eliminated, Lickitung will struggle to provide much value. Despite this, Lickitung can PP stall these two foes, but it will waste much of its resources in the process.

*Normal-resists*: Graveler, Mawile, and Shuckle are three examples of Normal-resists that can give Lickitung trouble because Lickitung will struggle to output much damage even after multiple Curses. In certain cases, Lickitung can outlast some of these threats through Rest and Sleep Talk, but it would much rather preserve its resources for other threats in the tier.

[OVERVIEW]

(Overviews are meant to cover everything about a Pokemon, the pros and cons and why you should use it on a team, this doesn't apply to sets. If you want to mention Curse sweeping as a selling point for Lickitung that's fine but move this section down to set comments and let overview cover every bit of the basics.)

CurseTung Curse Lickitung (assuming you aren't naming the set name "cursetung") functions as a premier Special Wall that can hit hard and spread paralysis with it's STAB Body Slam.

Body Slam is a dependable STAB Normal move for Lickitung to hit hard and spread paralysis (Could possibly mention Return to achieve better damage thresholds and have better PP?). (missing Sleep Talk comment) Leftovers is the item of choice because of the extra recovery it provides Lickitung. Leftovers additional recovery can be the difference between a 2HKO or a 3HKO and give Lickitung more chances to click Curse or Rest. A Careful nature, and max HP and SpD investment allow Lickitung to function as a Special Wall on top of being a hard hitting sweeper when able to setup (All of this is implied with the max/max and you say Lickitung's mainly a special wall).

Lickitung fits well on teams that desire a Special Wall that can provide dependable offense (Lickitung's mainly a defensive sweeper so probably reword to something like "a sweeping threat"). Lickitung needs support to get passed counters that are otherwise untouchable, such as Duskull and Gastly ("Counter" is a very broad term, would prob say "check"). Pursuit trappers like Houndoom Houndour make makes a great pairing to help eliminate these hurdles with Pursuit, enabling Lickitung to sweep with Curse and/or use Body Slam. Lickitung also struggles against Normal-resists like Graveler, Mawile, and Shuckle. If given the turns to Curse before entry, Lickitung can outlast and KO the Normal-resists. However, Lickitung is better being preserved for late game when possible, and hence enjoys being paired with strong Physical Walls that can threaten many Normal-resists (What about Magcargo? What I'm getting at is, this is more of an offensive synergy thing, not as much a defensive one). An example of this would be Defensive Tangela as it can hit both Steel-types and Rock/Ground-types effectively. (Trapinch can trap some of these Pokemon too, thats the biggest bit of support) Lickitung can also handle Minun with relative ease which is a very valuable asset in this tier. It is typically best to just attack against a Minun until you have surmised whether or not it has Encore. (Same goes for Sealeo) Additionally, Lickitung needs to be wary of Choice Band Trapinch as it 2HKOs even after a Curse.

Other Options
=============
(Other Options also doesn't just cover sets in particular, it covers everything for mons, be sure to keep this in mind. I'd say the most common other options besides some of what you mentioned are SD, Knock Off, Toxic).

Lickitung has the option of running Shadow Ball over Sleep Talk to provide additional coverage and open up options in the Team Builder. This comes at the cost of moving during turns asleep. Earthquake is another useful coverage move that can be used over Rest. (I would move these to the main set, you can also even consider sball to be slashed over stalk. EQ ofc would be also used over stalk, with Curse BSlam EQ Rest) This greatly reduces Lickitung’s longevity but makes it a more potent offensive threat with its STAB Normal, Shadow Ball, and Earthquake coverage. (if above comment is implemented be sure to say this is just a curse + 3 attacks set. Might even be able to run Double-Edge here.) Rest, Sleep Talk, and two attacks is another option that can provide Lickitung longevity and offensive coverage on teams willing to forgo Curse.

Checks and Counters
===================

(Ghost-types, esp duskull, dont rly hurt lickitung well though, so they can still get pp stalled)
