M&M Life Orb Eternatus [QC 0/2]

[SET]
Eternatus @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Timid Nature
- Dynamax Cannon
- Sludge Bomb
- Fire Blast
- Recover

[SET COMMENTS]
Life Orb Eternatus is one of the strongest special wallbreakers of the metagame, taking advantage of its incredible damage output and movepool to punish common defensive staples such as Milotic, Magearna, and Pecharunt. Fire Blast is its strongest option against Steel-types like Magearna and Iron Crown, though it can also opt to run the weaker but more accurate alternative in Flamethrower. Recover helps Eternatus mitigate Life Orb chip damage, improving its longevity. Eternatus synergizes extremely well with other offensive pieces like Urshifu-R, Zamazenta, and Spectrier, forming deadly offensive cores that can overwhelm defensive cores. It appreciates hazard setters to aid it in wallbreaking, making Pokemon like Magearna, Hisuian Samurott, and Great Tusk stellar teammates. Eternatus gets worn down fairly easily by Life Orb recoil and entry hazards, so it heavily appreciates teammates that remove hazards such as Regieleki and the aforementioned Great Tusk as well as Sablenite users like Garganacl and Milotic. Arceus formes like Arceus-Ghost, Arceus-Fairy, and Arceus-Water also make excellent partners, helping to handle potential revenge killers such as Iron Crown and Extreme Speed users while posing major threats themselves with Calm Mind.

Good analysis; it felt a bit brief, so I added a few additional points. Feel free to disregard them if you prefer. QC: 1/2

(Although the content feels a bit short, Recover is an obvious move that likely doesn’t require explanation. You could consider mentioning in the opening line that Eternatus serves as a strong wallbreaker, while also having access to reliable recovery.) (Discuss which team archetypes Life Orb Eternatus fits best into in this section.). Eternatus synergizes extremely well with other offensive pieces like Urshifu-R, Zamazenta, and Spectrier, forming deadly offensive cores that can overwhelm common defensive cores foes (The word “cores” is repeated in the same sentence; consider rephrasing for variety. You could also strengthen the point by providing examples of defensive opponents that Eternatus or its teammate handles well, highlighting their synergy more clearly.). It appreciates hazard setters to aid it in wallbreaking (This might be a bit of a stretch, but do you have examples of Pokemon that are KO’d by Eternatus with entry hazards present but would otherwise survive without them? Including such examples could help expand this section and give your analysis more substance.), making Pokemon like Magearna, Hisuian Samurott, and Great Tusk stellar teammates. Eternatus gets worn down fairly easily by Life Orb recoil and entry hazards, so it heavily appreciates teammates that remove hazards such as Regieleki and the aforementioned Great Tusk as well as Sablenite users like Garganacl and Milotic.
