Ok im back from semi hiatus to give out a little HO team I made. This team I made alongside some people in the OUcord, so go say thanks to Heatranator and 0ddish0ne real quick. I was looking at
Unyielding Rage (
) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ceaseless Edge
- Razor Shell
- Aqua Jet
- Taunt
the little bastard is here to be annoying to other leads and spam Ceaseless Edge. The fun part about this set is Taunt. Taunt completely makes
a irrelevant threat. Given that you can just stack spikes while it can't set webs. its also just nice to have sometimes vs more passive teams and mons. Aqua Jet was used over sucker since I wanted to use that 50% Defense drop from Razor Shell to beat
who lead off for some reason, which is something that the team generally doesn't like. Also the priority is more useful here vs a
or
thinking they outspeed. I went with Adamant since max speed wasn't that needed, and the extra strength is more useful. You may notice that there are no ghost types to spinblock, so you'll have to rely on your own offensive pressure or tera ghost to handle that, just be careful when you tera ghost, cuz well...
Roaring Wife (
) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 208 HP / 68 SpA / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Dark Pulse
- Tera Blast
- Nasty Plot
Wowie Hydreigon is here to sub out the
for mild balance destroying. It's the same tera fairy + dark stab that
used, but instead of roost I have substitute, which completely shits all over
and
. This guy actually has pretty decent bulk with 92/90/90, so investing in HP makes it better into
,
, and even doing ok into
. Tera fairy is super nice vs
and
, while giving a super clutch fairy type now. Levitate is also nice, letting you hover over the webs and spikes, and pivot into
while not taking too much from Ice Spinner. 68 SpA is to 2hko a leftovers
with Tera Fairy Blast at +2, while 232 Spe is to outspeed
.
Kami (
) @ Leftovers
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head
is here for
purposes. Priority was needed here and formed a solid dark spam core, exploiting the hazard chip
brings, and liking
breaking down
and
, or wiping them from the field in the first place like
or
. Low Kick isn't needed here since the team already has many anti-gambino tech. Tera Fire is the underrated tera here, as that immunity to burn from
or
can outright let you set up and win the game on the spot. I've had many times where that happened, since burn can one of the only ways to beat
. I went with outspeeding
since it provides a nice mix of bulk and speed. This guy is cracked at what it does.
Popping Off (
) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Moonblast
- Substitute
is here not only to be a fun little singer, but also cuz it's super strong with pretty decent bulk. I went with sub here for the ease of prediction, and also because it somewhat patches up the fact that
is really slow, so you'll need any advantage to chip down a
or a
trying to switch in. Tera ghost is here because it somewhat makes the stall MU a little more tolerable, and also because
and
can be mildly cringe. You use
as a breaker and temporary stopgap vs the many threats that this team have to deal with.
Machination (
) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Knock Off
- Moonblast
- Close Combat
- Encore
Originally, this slot has been filled with many stuff. First it was a
, but the team just didnt need it and was mildly overkill. I then tried CM
, and while it was ok, it didnt really do what I needed, same with SD
. So mixed was the next logical conclusion. This set is pretty standard all things considered, with tera steel being here for annoying
and resisting
Espeed. This goober gonna be used as your
check a lot of the time, with encore and CC being your main weapon. Also your tool vs
and
most of the time.
All-Terrain (
) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Spinner
- Rapid Spin
I had a lot of iterations of
. I used a AOA
with knock off over stealth rocks, but now I can afford the rocks. This is your sole fairy resist and
check, so be able to apply offensive pressure back, which isn't too hard to do. This is both your spinner and another potential lead, so play wisely with this guy. This guy may even last to the late game, where you can sorta sweep and still apply some defensive use. Also, this is your only ice coverage, which didnt really matter since
tended to be overwhelmed by
, but against
it can be annoying sometimes.
