SV RU Little Big Balance

Good morning, Smogon! After the last tier shift, the meta was in a slightly chaotic state, and with chaos should come balance. And so I made a balance team!

---The Team---

:sv/jirachi:

Tinka (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Thunder Wave
- Encore

Jirachi is our brave lead utilizing Stealth Rock and Twave to get the team a nice head-start, It also bears midgame utility using Encore to shutdown setups such as Bisharp, Twave to disturb mons that relay on their speed and make them easier to revenge kill such as Armarouge, and lastly this set comes with the added benefit of Twave+Serene Grace boosted Iron head to push through unlikely situations and even exploit them for recovery with Leftovers.

:sv/gastrodon:

Lu (Gastrodon-East) (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sticky Hold
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Spikes
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Ice Beam

Gastrodon is our deadly cow, as its main role is setting spikes up to cripple opposing teams's ability to reposition which often gives our offensive core a very useful edge, and as far as setting spikes goes, it tends to do the job very well.
But its role does not end here, it uses its good bulk and excellent defensive typing to not only wall multiple threats but also punish them back with rocky helmet such as Gapdos or even just switch on an expected weaker attack such as U-turn or Population bomb.
Ice beam and Earthquake provide an unresisted attack combination for it to get the jump on mons switching in with reasonable predictions such as a cyclizar coming in to use rapid spin.

:sv/zapdos-galar:

Wpon (Zapdos-Galar) @ Choice Scarf
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Brave Bird
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Gapdoz is our speed control and a vital part of this team's offensive core, also enabling our hazard stackers using Knock off to get rid of opposing team's boots and defiant to punish Defog while additionally utilizing U-turn for fast pivoting and immediate repositioning while dealing chip damage.

:sv/salamence:

Dnite (Salamence) (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Moxie
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Dual Wingbeat
- Earthquake

Salamence is our late-game cleaner and setup sweeper, it only needs one dragon dance to tie speed controls such as opposing gapdos and moxie allows it to snowball very quickly.
Outrage is its strongest attack and lum berry mitigates its drawback of confusion in addition, Earthquake beats steels that might try to wall it, some fairies such as Diancie and fire types that will try to kill it if it teras, Dual Wingbeat deals with Mimikyu's Disguise ability, sashes and fighting types that might also try to kill it if teras.

:sv/volcanion:

Bolt (Volcanion) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 120 HP / 252 SpA / 136 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Steam Eruption
- Body Press
- Earth Power

Volcanion is our bulky wallbreaker, there are no walls when this guy is in town.
In addition to its potent STAB combination Earth Power allows it to threaten many of the water and dragon types that resist its stab combination and Body press allows it to threaten Special walls with its decent defense.

:sv/mimikyu:

Dengo (Mimikyu) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Disguise
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Wood Hammer
- Play Rough
- Shadow Sneak

Mimikyu is our cute Swiss army knife, as it doubles and triples as:
a spin blocker that forces cyclizar out with the threat of playrough, a suicidal salamence enabler with life orb boosted wood hammer to get rid of unaware Quagsire and threaten multiple grounds that would threaten jirachi otherwise, and a priority revenge killer to take off weakened foes such as armarouge.

Aaaaand that's it! Hope you liked the team.

This team is pretty good all around. There are one or two changes I would make though.

:sv/salamence:
Now, your salamence set certainly isn't bad by any means. Its still pretty good. Issue is, on a team like this, salamence really, really wants boots. If this was a HO, that mence set would have been perfect. So along with the other changes, I'm making this a facade variant, though you can also make it just standard DD with dual wingbeat. But with tera normal facade, you can punish volcanion steam eruption incredibly easily, alongside other status moves, and potentially sweep. Just a generally better fit here.

:sv/volcanion:
Volcanion is good, just make it taunt over earth power so it can truely break bulkier teams. You could also make it ep over bp, but thats up to you.

:sv/mimikyu:
Now, wood hammer mmq certainly isn't bad, but with the above changes, your offense MU is worse. So I just made wood hammer shadow claw, which improves your offensive MU.
