So, I just put together my first Little Cup Team, haven't played with it yet but I thought I'd get an expert opinion.
Species: Machop
Ability: No Guard
Nature: Adamant
Item: Oran Berry
Moves: Dynamic Punch, Earthquake, Bullet Punch and Ice Punch.
Machop's my Lead so I tried to cover as many bases as possible with his moveset. Of course, Dynamic Punch was a no-brainer what with the 100% accuracy and confusion, Earthquake for power and coverage, Bullet and Ice Punch provide even more coverage and the former is a priority move thus allowing Machop to strike first.
Species: Chinchou
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Modest
Item: Life Orb
Moves: Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam and Agility.
Fast Chinchou with powerful, wide-covering moves and Water Absorb so I can heal on a switch-in.
Species: Aron
Ability: Rock Head
Nature: Adamant
Item: Eviolite
Moves: Head Smash, Earthquake, Shadow Claw and Rock Polish.
Speed up with Polish and then headbutt my way to victory. Quake and Claw take out Pokes that Head Smash may have trouble with.
Species: Paras
Ability: Dry Skin
Nature: Impish
Item: Eviolite
Moves: X-Scissor, Bullet Seed, Spore and Synthesis.
X-Scissor takes down Dark-types and them damned Ghosties. Bullet Seed takes down the Ground-types that Chinchou might get stuck with. Spore for instant naptime and Synthesis for healing.
Species: Koffing
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
Item: Eviolite
Moves: Pain Split, Clear Smog, Will-O-Wisp and Fire Blast.
Normal Pain Split Koffing.
Species: Elgeyem
Ability: Analytic
Nature: Quiet
Item: Light Clay
Moves: Psychic, Recover, Light Screen and Reflect.
Thought I'd mix it up a little as to my knowledge this isn't normally done. Whether this is for good reason I will soon find out... So dual-screens and the clay provide 8 turns of dual double defences. Always good. Recover helps... erm, recover from the beating you take setting up and Psychic is for when you're done!
So, opinions please? What did you like, if anything, and what didn't you like? What could I improve?
