Looking for a lead for my UU/NU team

Offensive UU RMT

Uxie.png

Uxie @ Choice Scarf
Levitate ability
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -Sp.Atk)
-Trick
-Stealth Rock
-U-turn
-Thunder Wave

My reliable lead. Trick or U-Turn is my first option, and it's good bulk allows me to switch in with relative ease. Levitate can provide a safe switch in and setting up rocks immediately. It can still come a few turns later setting up rocks. Works wonders if their spinner is gone.

277.png

Swellow @ Flame Orb
Guts ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 ???
Jolly nature (+Spe -Sp.Atk)
-Brave Bird
-Facade
-Quick Attack?
-Protect

Swellow comes in late-game for sweeping. It can also clean up something weak enough but I'm not sure if revenge killer title would be suited to it. Great speed (125 base) and probably outspeeds the majority of UU uncounting Scarfed Pokemon.
Obvious set is obvious, other than Quick Attack, but it's just for priority but I'm probably missing a way better move.
Swellow also doesn't mind SR, as it's already frail enough to die in one hit.

Spr_4d_160.png

Feraligatr @ Salac Berry?
Torrent ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly nature (+Spe -Sp.Atk)
-Ice Punch
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Sword Dance?

Totodile was always my favorite Johto starter. I liked Chikorita but she was almost darn useless. But now I like Totodile and you came here to RMT not to hear my childhood starter stories.
Anyway, Feraligatr is completely awesome. Good offense and good physical bulk can net it a switch in, but I won't risk it. Waterfall for STAB, Ice Punch and EQ for coverage.

Spr_4p_359.png

Absol @ Life Orb
Super Luck ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 ???
Adamant nature (+Atk -Sp.Atk)
-Sword Dance
-Sucker Punch
-Psycho Cut
-Superpower

Absol is a premier Pokemon for my team. Which pretty much focuses on offense. Switch into something Choiced like Psychic, proceed to SD on the switch, and nail anything who dares attack Absol. Psycho Cut and Superpower is for coverage, and is a good thing to use against fighting / steel types that think they can laf at Absol.

Spr_4d_254.png

Sceptile @ Life Orb
Overgrow ability
EVs : 252 Atk / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
Naive nature (+Spe -Sp.Def)
-Leaf Storm
-Leaf Blade
-Earthquake
-Dragon Pulse

Late-game sweeper and clean-up for their darn 50HP surviving Pokemon. This guy is absolutely amazing and is a great asset to my team. 120 Base Speed allows it to outspeed mostly anything because threats would probably be off.

Spr_4d_146.png

Moltres @ Leftovers
Pressure ability
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Spe
-Roost
-Substitute
-Toxic
-Flamethrower

This is a surprise member. While my team focuses on offense, people would except Moltres to be Spec-ed or Scarfed, only to be one turn behind and me safely behind a Substitute. Even with SR on the field this guy does a good job ones he's out and can pretty much hurt many teams. This idea might sound stupid and troublesome, and not worthy to be on an offensive team, but it's a very good Pokemon and the surprising part of this guy is really an huge bonus. The worst part that he's an suspect..

Previous team members :

Spr_4p_282.png

(1st Set)
Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Trace ability
EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Timid nature (+Spe -Atk)
-Focus Blast
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Will-O-Wisp

Gardevoir makes an excellent Scarf Pokemon but is kinda inferior to Espeon. Still, with Trace and good special bulk I can get a nice switch-in. Will-O-Wisping the predictable physical attacker that thinks its annihilation time. All moves are for coverage.

Spr_4p_282.png

(2nd Set)
Gardevoir @ Light Clay
Trace ability
EVs: 252 Def / 252 Spe / 4 Sp.Def
Timid nature (+Spe -Atk)
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Psychic
-Will-O-Wisp

This Gardevoir saved the day for me on it's first battle, Feraligatr had a sweep (It was an OU match, with my team with just Roserade and other UU/NU Pokemon and the other guy had Pokemon from all tiers except NFE and if I remember correct BL, which isn't a proper tier anyway) and I got an Arceus switch in.. Feraligatr survived Thunder (yay ^_^) and proceeded to OHKO Back with a +4 Waterfall (I think Torrent kicked in, because it had ~25% HP) and won the match for me. From that day I value this Gardevoir set more than any offensive Gardevoir set someone might throw at me. It wouldn't be bad to have a dual-screener so Feraligatr can set up DD.

Spr_4p_038.png

Ninetales @ Life Orb
Flash Fire ability
EVs: 252 Sp.Att / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Timid nature (+Spe -Atk)
-Energy Ball
-Flamethrower
-Extrasensory
-HP Rock

Ninetales is a very good Pokemon and even perhaps underrated. It lacks Special Attack, but has a very good speed stats to back it up and reasonable special bulk (100 base)
I won't be expecting this to sweep teams, but it can be a decent cleaner, especially because the opponent might laf at me and even hit me with a Fire attack.. (Ninetales did an awesome sweep against a team of legends after receiving a little boost from Entei's Overheat, there WAS ubers there but only one of them was out..) It's still great and can be an effective Pokemon, especially because I have previous experience with it.

Threats :
Ani106MS.png
-Scarfed Hitmonlee hits this team BADLY. BADLY. BADLY. Absol is perhaps my biggest counter with Psycho Cut, but it's unreliable because the opponent might just attack and end Absol early.
Ani036MS.png
-Not much of a threat but it was VERY annoying for my Moltres because of Magic Guard.
Also if it has screen support it sucks big time.

Those two are the only Pokemon that I had MAJOR problems with and even those were conditional.

Well, typing this entire thing except for Uxie that stickid gave me kinda hurts my fingers now..

(Things marked with ? somewhere are things I'm not entirely sure of and any recommendation would be appreciated)

Every considered an Uxie?

Uxie.png

Uxie @ Choice Scarf
Levitate ability
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
~Trick
~Stealth Rock
~Psychic / U-turn
~Thunder Wave

This set ruins most leads, by switching in the Scarf and Paralysing the Lead - making the Choice Scarf completely useless. Double win. Then make your way to setting up Rocks and force a switch. Feel free to run U-turn for easy scout-ability.

All the other leads as far as I know will give extra typing damage, such as Kabutops and Ambipom would result in two of your Pokés being weak to fighting. I would get rid of your Gardevoir and replace it with a late game sweeping Swellow. So that if a Ghost type attack is coming Uxie's way you can switch into your Swellow to take the Ghost type and Pursuit the Ghost type, if so.

Swellow @ Flame Orb
Guts ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
-Brave Bird
-Facade
-U-turn
-Pursuit

Excellent late game sweeping. Great for picking off weaker Pokés at low health or hit by eny entry hazards. Perfect.

Uxie @ Choice Scarf
Levitate ability
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -Sp.Atk)
-Trick
-Stealth Rock
-U-turn
-Thunder Wave

My reliable lead. Trick or U-Turn is my first option, and it's good bulk allows me to switch in with relative ease. Levitate can provide a safe switch in and setting up rocks immediately. It can still come a few turns later setting up rocks. Works wonders if their spinner is gone.

Fine, I guess.

Swellow @ Flame Orb
Guts ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly nature (+Spe -Sp.Atk)
-Brave Bird
-Facade
-Quick Attack
-U-Turn

Swellow comes in late-game for sweeping. It can also clean up something weak enough but I'm not sure if revenge killer title would be suited to it. Great speed (125 base) and probably outspeeds the majority of UU uncounting Scarfed Pokemon.
Obvious set is obvious, other than Quick Attack, but it's just for priority but I'm probably missing a way better move.
Swellow also doesn't mind SR, as it's already frail enough to die in one hit.

Use Quick Attack, and I would replace Protect with U-Turn. Put the extra 4 EVs in Def.

Spr_4d_160.png

Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Torrent ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly nature (+Spe -Sp.Atk)
-Ice Punch
-Waterfall
-Earthquake | Aqua Jet
-Dragon Dance | Swords Dance

Totodile was always my favorite Johto starter. I liked Chikorita but she was almost darn useless. But now I like Totodile and you came here to RMT not to hear my childhood starter stories.
Anyway, Feraligatr is completely awesome. Good offense and good physical bulk can net it a switch in, but I won't risk it. Waterfall for STAB, Ice Punch and EQ for coverage.

Use Life Orb over Salac Berry. You can either replace Swords Dance with Dragon Dance, or Earthquake with Aqua Jet and keep Swords Dance.

Spr_4p_359.png

Absol @ Life Orb
Super Luck ability
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Adamant nature (+Atk -Sp.Atk)
-Sword Dance
-Sucker Punch
-Psycho Cut
-Superpower

Absol is a premier Pokemon for my team. Which pretty much focuses on offense. Switch into something Choiced like Psychic, proceed to SD on the switch, and nail anything who dares attack Absol. Psycho Cut and Superpower is for coverage, and is a good thing to use against fighting / steel types that think they can laf at Absol.

Fine as it is. Put the extra four EVs in HP.

Spr_4d_254.png

Sceptile @ Life Orb
Overgrow ability
EVs : 252 Atk / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
Naive nature (+Spe -Sp.Def)
-Leaf Storm
-Leaf Blade/Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Dragon Pulse/HP Ice

Late-game sweeper and clean-up for their darn 50HP surviving Pokemon. This guy is absolutely amazing and is a great asset to my team. 120 Base Speed allows it to outspeed mostly anything because threats would probably be off.

Fine, I guess. Personally, I use HP Ice over Dragon Pulse and Rock Slide over Leaf Blade, but this set works just as well.

Spr_4d_146.png

Moltres @ Leftovers
Pressure ability
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Spe
-Roost
-Substitute
-Toxic
-Flamethrower

Fine.

Your team needs a spinner. Moltres and Swellow hate rocks. Looking at your team, you have a huge Rock weakness. Therefore, I suggest using Hitmontop. I saw a fairly gimmicky, but effective Technitop set with Rapid Spin and Pursuit to beat Froslass and then spin away the Spikes. Use the normal Technitop set on-site, but replace two moves with Rapid Spin and Pursuit.
