VGC Looking for some advice on my second attempt of a VGC team

Precursor: I only have basic EV spreads because I've been getting used to how the team plays and now I feel confident enough I would like to make some changes but I'm not 100% sure yet on what to specialise them into. I would be open to tips for the EV spread, strategies and move choices.

Lunala @ Power Herb
Ability: Shadow Shield
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Meteor Beam
- Moongeist Beam
- Trick Room
- Psychic
This is the focus pokemon which is sent out first as I start off with meteor beam with power herb to boost special attack and then spam moongeist beam or psychic for coverage. I have trick room for either anti trick room teams or to counter tailwind or to set up for calyrex-ice to be the fastest. This pokemon can pivot in to take a hit if it does not start due to shadow shield and tera water to remove the 4x weakness to dark.

Rillaboom @ Assault Vest
Ability: Grassy Surge
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
- Fake Out
- Grassy Glide
- High Horsepower
- Wood Hammer
Rillaboom is mainly a terrain counter for indeedee and miradon but also is used to outspeed and fake out opposing incineroar as well as OHKOing Kyogre with wood hammer as well as having the priority grassy glide to break sashes for others(lunala, calyrex and urshifu) to finish off the job. The high horsepower is useful coverage.

Calyrex-Ice @ Clear Amulet
Ability: As One (Glastrier)
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Glacial Lance
- Swords Dance
- Protect
- High Horsepower
Calyrex is another focus pokemon which works well alongside lunala as lunala can set up trick room. Clear amulet blocks any stat drops gained from their ability or swords dance. The best opportunity to swords dance is when grimmsnarl sets up the correct screen which makes sweeping a lot easier as the first kill is easier with ghost tera in order to avoid fake out and protect to allow for other pokemon to set up the correct conditions for it to sweep.

Urshifu @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
Level: 50
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Wicked Blow
- U-turn
- Close Combat
- Iron Head
This pokemon is here to limit the damage of calyrex-shadow and ice with wicked blow, easy pivot with u-turn and iron head to cover for tera fairy. This pokemon also allows for resisted hits on fire and fighting from calyrex-ice glacial lance or dark types for lunala. This pokemon is just here for raw damage which allows for easier KOs for other pokemon and breaking through protect which punishes setup plays.

Pelipper @ Focus Sash
Ability: Drizzle
Level: 50
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tailwind
- Weather Ball
- Hurricane
- Wide Guard
Pelipper is weather control for sun teams as this allows for the weakening of fire type moves and limiting koraidon damage while outputting enough damage with STAB weather ball and hurricane while also allowing for speed control with tailwind allowing multiple ways for speed control with trick room and tailwind to allow for lunala and urshifu to outspeed while the sun setters for groudon, koraidon and torkoal are countered by drizzle. The wide guard can counter both calyrex forms as well as groudon and kyogre.

Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 SpD
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Foul Play
- Thunder Wave
Grimmsnarl sets screens in order to reduce the damage from key threats which allows for more reliable playmaking for other pokemon. The thunder wave allows for the opportunity to completely to stop movement as well as slow other pokemon down. Foul play allows for a way to deal damage especially against calyrex-ice. The tera ghost allows for the setup of screens with the risk of fake out. This support allows for a guranteed turn of survival for a pokemon like lunala and calyrex which allows them to setup and use sustained high damage.

good morning!

a few changes regarding EVs first:
this is a directory containing all of the Smogon analysis written for Regulation G, it contains all of the info you might want to know on any given mon and provides EV spreads for them, see here for an example. these are high quality EV spreads that should be able to effectively get you going while you learn how to make your own EV spreads.

1. Lunala
In addition to the spread, you don't really want psychic STAB moves on Lunala, with the exception of expanding force on psyspam teams they don't actually really help you hit anything (eforce is useful bc it gives Lunala a strong spread attack), and you get much more out of using Wide Guard to keep your Calyrex safe from mons like Kyogre and Calyrex-Shadow. You already have Wide Guard Pelliper, yes, but you don't always want to bring pelipper into those matchups and having the option for double Wide Guard frees up both mons pretty significantly.

Updated Lunala spread:

Lunala @ Power Herb
Level: 50
Ability: Shadow Shield
EVs: 180 HP / 140 Def / 68 SpA / 116 SpD / 4 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Tera Type: Fairy
Modest Nature
- Moongeist Beam
- Meteor Beam
- Wide Guard
- Trick Room

2. Rillaboom
Moveset is totally fine, use this EV spread:

Rillaboom @ Assault Vest
Level: 50
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 244 HP / 116 Atk / 20 Def / 76 SpD / 52 Spe
Tera Type: Fire
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Grassy Glide
- High Horsepower
- Fake Out

3. Calyrex-Ice
Definitely don't go Swords Dance Caly, you need to be able to set Trick Room for yourself and more often than not you won't be in a position to actually click SD. Double Trick Room also means you can reset TR instantly when you have Caly and Lunala on the field. Set is fine otherwise, Caly appreciates a little bulkier though.

Updated Caly EVs:
Calyrex-Ice @ Clear Amulet
Level: 50
Ability: As One (Glastrier)
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Atk / 60 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Tera Type: Fairy
Brave Nature
- Glacial Lance
- High Horsepower
- Trick Room
- Protect

4. Urshifu Rapid Strike > Urshifu Single Strike
The way your team is structured now, single strike is way too slow and you're lacking adequate speed control to support it, it's just going to get outsped and KO'd by faster threats, especially because it isn't using sash. If you swap to Urshifu-Rapid with the choice scarf, you get a lot of speed control outside of tailwind and a key threat into the calyrex-shadow matchup that allows you to revenge Caly in rain. It also wonderfully takes advantage of Pelipper's rain & deters incineroar

spread:
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Unseen Fist
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 4 HP / 236 Atk / 4 Def / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Coaching

5. Pelipper
so, if you're gonna go sash pelipper i would recommend at least making it modest so it's not super passive and bulk invested like it is now, i would also recommend dropping tailwind for protect, as your team doesn't particularly take advantage of tailwind that well anyways and protect to preserve peli's sash is way more useful here

use this peli spread:
Pelipper @ Focus Sash
Ability: Drizzle
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 220 HP / 4 Def / 196 SpA / 36 SpD / 52 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Weather Ball
- Hurricane
- Wide Guard
- Protect

Grimm is fine

lmk if you have any further questions/concerns!
