Krookodile @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
Role: Im using krookodile as a pokemon to finish an opponent if/when my previous is taken out, and then weaken the next one in by knocking out it item. the team is built around this pokemon and volcarona. choice scarf and the moveset taken from smogon. almost always sent in second, mainly used for item wrecking and earth type damage, with pursuit being used for if they are either resistant to earth or are likely to swap out.
Volcarona @ Buginium Z
Ability: Flame Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 112 Def / 148 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 248 HP / 208 Def / 52 Spe
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Bug Buzz
- Roost
Use as a bulky quiver dance set with roost to stall. flamethrower and Z move bug buzz for quick offensive attacks, generally with a quiver dance buff. the team is built around krookodile and this pokemon.
extra EVs put into making it tanky, with extra speed to KO with buffed stats, generally the third or fourth pokemon sent in.
Blastoise-Mega @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Mega Launcher
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Rapid Spin
- Dark Pulse
- Aura Sphere
- Ice Beam
Blastoise's role in the team is for damage with pulse and sphere moves via ability, and ice beam to both stall and as a powerful offense. rapid spin is used to take up the extra slot and get rid of entry hazards. used to cover volcarona's weaknesses. partially tanky, but used more as a speedy special sweeper. often swapped in when entry hazards are placed to cover volcarona.
Pangoro @ Leftovers
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Power Trip
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
Pangoro is used as a more tanky pokemon, using swords dance for self buff for OHKOs with power trip. partially fufills krookodiles role with knock off, but more of a tank. earthquake for more general KOs.
Use of leftovers to make better use of swords dance for OHKOs against tankier pokemon. on top of the speed and attack EVs, pangoro in this team is used to tank until at low HP, then deliver OHKOs with power trip.
Alakazam @ Wiki Berry
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
Alakazam's role in the team is to rack up damage against psychics and ghosts. also used for KOing with calm mind to shadow ball. focus blast is used to cover resisting types, normal's weakness to it. psychic is used as a general STAB move. speed EVs to rack on more damage. more so an extra slot filler than a vital piece.
Magearna @ Fairium Z
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Fleur Cannon
- Iron Head
- Heart Swap
- Shift Gear
Magearna is made as an early game sweeper. Using fleur cannon to heart swap will often ko the first pokemon and leave the next one in with an awful SPA. Shift gear and Iron head mostly for resisting types. I almost always send it in first for the SPA debuff on opponent pokemon. slaughtering their SPA, if on the right mon, will allow me to buff with shift gear enough to finish with iron head
