wintergreen (Abomasnow) @ Icy Rock
Ability: Snow Warning
Nature: Adamant
Tera Type: Grass
- Swords Dance
- Ice Shard
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake

WinterGreen: pretty much a bog standard Abomasnow. he's there to drop weather, and sometimes hit water times...though he mostly just dies most of the time. I was thinking of replacing him with chilly reception Slowking.

mothra (Frosmoth) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Ice Scales
Nature: Modest
Tera Type: Ice
- Quiver Dance
- Substitute
- Ice Beam
- Giga Drain

Mothra: probably the member I'm most unsure of. originally I wanted to put him onto the team so I'd have one special attack on my team, though though testing I've found he's kinda...eh. though I might give him a more support movelist with Tailwind and Aurora veil. or just straight replace him with a grimmsnarl.

big ice boi (Avalugg) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Impish
Tera Type: Ice
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Body Press
- Ice Spinner

BigIceboi: I was looking for ice mon to add to the team, and I thought I'd add Avalugg for rapid spin support.
though admittly I think maybe he could be replaced with a better rapid spinner/defog/entry hazard pokemon.
other then that I built him to mostly tank hits.

whaleofatime (Cetitan) @ Choice Band
Ability: Slush Rush
Nature: Adamant
Tera Type: Ice
- Ice Spinner
- Earthquake
- Superpower
- Heavy Slam

Whaleofatime: probably my favorite new pokemon this gen, I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked him, but he hits like a godamn dumptruck. I gave him the choice band set cause I'm not really a huge fan of set up sets. (I know they work, it just they feel so slow...though chances are I'm using them wrong so I'd be up to try the belly dance set) he's there to help sweep people.

ghostface (Froslass) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
Nature: Timid
Tera Type: Ice
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Icy Wind
- Destiny Bond

Ghostface: Your classic frostlass lead. she drops spikes, or uses destiny bond to bring a pokemon down with her. probably could be replaced with a steath rock user or more for offense.

singalong (Skeledirge) @ Life Orb
Ability: Unaware
Nature:Modest
Tera Type: Ice
- Earth Power
- Torch Song
- Shadow Ball
- Tera Blast

Singalong: probably the oddest pick here. I figured I'd try to throw a fire mon in to cover against steel types, and then give it a Ice tera type to make it fit into the theme. also could be a mon that is replaced.

and so...thats my first crack at the idea. I know it's super rough and needs alot of work, and any ideas or suggestions would be of immense help. thank you all for your time.

Your team looks like it gets run over by most fire types in OU, especially chi-yu. I would add one or two complimentary water types to try and combat this. Maybe a bulky dondozo instead of skele and something else to help cover your weaknesses.

IMO, after palafin and iron bundle got banned, snow/hail teams became less viable.
This is a team I made when SVOU first came out, it's a completely unrevised team and has pokemon that were moved up to ubers(yes they were also the mons that carried me): https://pokepast.es/da9f115ddd14ac18
I'd say
skeledirge --> dondozo (doesn't matter which set)
avalugg -->chien pao( i prefer boots over band, the pokepaste I linked is old so it has sd but imo it's better to use sacred sword)
frosmoth --> maybe iron valiant???
abomasnow --> slowking (depends on what you feel like, they're both really only there to set snow)
maybe replace froslass with a better hazard setter? not too sure on that one cuz i've never really used froslass

Hello,

I'll give this team a quick rate since you asked, hail teams from the early phase of the metagame has probably been the weakest weather, it doesn't provide much now except some defensive bulk to Ice Pokémon once 'Snow' is out.

As other's have listed above this team can be quite weak from a synergy perspective, aside from Skeledirge there are 5 Pokémon weak to fire.

I'm not going to give deep reasoning on why I'm suggesting what I'm suggesting because I wanted to make this rate short but I think the team needs a fair amount of work. The best weather setter (snow) from a viability perspective is Slowking it setups up Snow, and Chilly Reception acts as Teleport while bringing in weather so I think Slowking > Abomasnow
:slowking:
Slowking @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Future Sight
- Chilly Reception
- Chilling Water
- Slack Off

Garchomp > Froslass to help with synergy but provide the same role while also giving better bulk. Garchomp is a reliable entry hazard setter in Gen 9, and can take on multiple hits a majority of the time, here's the set I recommend:
:garchomp:
Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Spikes
- Dragon Tail

Since you have an entry hazard setter, Gholdengo kind of becomes a must on preventing the opposition from clearing it and you kind of need some speed control so I think this set will give you a 2 for 1, I think this set should replace Frosmoth:
:gholdengo:
Gholdengo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
- Trick
- Recover

I also feel like you need a rapid spinner / defogger if you're setting both spikes and SR, I would suggest Great Tusk, standard set to provide a solid physical wall, and to provide electrical immunity to assist with Slowking (btw Great Tusk > Avalugg ):
:great tusk:
Great Tusk @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 204 Def / 52 Spe
Impish Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Ice Spinner

Since I would prefer this team not to be weak to any rain teams, on the last slot I would suggest Rotom-W which will also allow you to take both fire moves as well as steel moves. It will provide ground immunity which with the current build is missing, here's the set: (Rotom-W > Skeledirge)
:rotom-wash:
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Protect
- Thunder Wave

Sidenote: Only Pokémon that stays is Cetitan because its your favorite new Pokémon and I want this team to keep some sort of identity from the original.

Hope some of my suggestions are helpful, I tried making it short but it did take me a while. Best of luck and thanks for reaching out again!

I see. I see. Then in that case what would be a good balance team then if snow/hail isn't that good of a weather?
