[OVERVIEW]

+ Able to run multitude of sets such as offensive sets and defensive sets
+ Good abilities in Klutz and Limber which allows it to run many different sets.
+ Massive move pool with moves like Switcheroo and High Jump Kick.
+ Fantastic base 105 Speed to outspeed a good majority of the PU tier.
+ Access to all sorts of support moves such as Thunder Wave and Healing Wish.
- Mediocre Normal-Typing.
- Suffers from four-moveslot syndrome.
- Access to no reliable recovery outside of Rest and Drain Punch which can be slightly shaky at points.

Moves
========

  • Switcheroo switchs items with the target, which along with Flame Orb, shuts down many physical attackers in PU such as Pawniard and Bouffalant.
  • Cosmic Power boosts Lopunny's Special Defense and Defense by 1, giving Lopunny a more defensive presence and, along with Baton Pass, allows it to pass the boosts to more defensive pokemon such as Roselia and Grumpig.
  • Baton Pass gives Lopunny the ability to switch-out on unfavorable match-ups, provide momentum and pass on Cosmic Power boosts. Work Up can be used over Cosmic Power to pass on Attack and Special Attack boosts instead of Defense and Special Defense boosts.
  • Encore gives Lopunny time to wreak havoc by locking the opponent into their last performed move. Status moves like Wish and Heal Bell are the perfect moves to lock pokemon into as they deal no damage to Lopunny.
Set Details
========

  • 248 HP and 252 Speed investment and either a Jolly or Timid allows Lopunny to be able to take a few hits and use its support moves very fast. A optional spread of 132 HP / 124 SpD / 252 Spe can be used to give Lopunny some special bulk to take attacks from Chatot and Floatzel better.
  • Flame Orb along with Klutz gives Lopunny the ability to shut down physically offensive pokemon without Guts or Fire-Typing such as Dodrio and Stoutland.
  • Klutz is a very good ability for this set, as it prevents Lopunny from using a held item which prevents it from burning itself with the Flame Orb and can't being locked into a single move by a choice item if it receives one via Switcheroo.
Usage Tips
========

  • Lopunny should be brought out mid to late game so it can shut down physical attackers on the opposing side by burning them via the Flame Orb or gathering boosts from Cosmic Power and passing them to other team-mates with Baton Pass.
  • Before sending in Lopunny, all Fighting and Fire-Type pokemon must be taken down as Fighting-Types can OHKO Lopunny with their STAB moves and Fire-Types cannot be burnt by the Flame Orb. Monferno gets special mention here as it both Fire and Fighting-Type.
  • Lopunny can switch in on Ghost-Type moves thanks to its Ghost immunity, on passive pokemon such as Roselia and Audino, as they pose little or no threat to Lopunny, or after a team-mate has fainted.
  • Remember Flame Orb is a one-time swap unless you can get it back after the pokemon has been burnt by the item.
Team Options
========

  • Pokemon that likes Cosmic Power boosts like Prinplup are great to match up with Lopunny as they become harder to break if they receive the boosts via Baton Pass. This applies also for Work Up but for sweepers such as Floatzel.
  • Ghost-Types like Gourgeist, Misdreavus, and Drifblim are amazing partners as they are immune to Fighting-Type attacks. However, many Fighting-Types do have coverage for Ghost-Types such as Knock Off and Shadow Claw.
  • Water-Type pokemon such as Floatzel and Basculin are good to match up with Lopunny as they can defeat the Fire-Types that are immune to burn by the Flame Orb. Ground and Rock-Types such as Golem and Stunfisk can also do this.

Moves
========

  • Healing Wish gives a team-mate like Floatzel and Dodrio a second chance to sweep by fully restoring their HP and PP at the cost of Lopunny fainting.
  • Thunder Wave paralyzes sweepers like Floatzel and Kadabra which slows them down and can make them fully paralyzed and unable to move for a single turn while Toxic wears down walls such as Gourgeist-XL and Regice.
  • Return is Lopunny's best Normal STAB which allows it to attack nearly everything except Ghost-Types like Misdreavus and Gourgeist-XL. Return also prevents Lopunny from becoming Taunt-bait.
  • Heal Bell heals all status conditions on Lopunny and the team it is on. Heal Bell makes it so that status like poison and burn doesn't wear down Lopunny nor its team.
Set Details
========

  • 252 HP and 252 SpD investment and a Carefull allows Lopunny to take hits from the likes of Chatot and Floatzel. A more defensive spread of 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD along with Impish nature can be used to take physical hits from Dodrio and Stoutland better.
  • Leftovers gives Lopunny a form of passive recovery since Lopunny gets no reliable recovery outside of Drain Punch and Rest.
  • Now Cute Charm may seem like a weird ability for this set but it is actually the best for this particular set as it has a 30% chance to infatuate pokemon of the opposite gender if they make physical contact with Lopunny.
Usage Tips
========

  • Lopunny should be brought out to wall either physical or special attackers, depending on its EV spread. It should also be brought out to heal the team's status conditions if they start to spread.
  • Before sending in Lopunny, all Fighting and Ghost-Type pokemon must be taken down as Fighting-Types can OHKO Lopunny with their STAB moves and Ghost-Types can force Lopunny to switch as Lopunny cannot touch them, however both types must be wary of Toxic.
  • Lopunny can switch in on Ghost-Type moves thanks to its Ghost immunity, on specially or physically offensive pokemon depending on the EV spread, and on weak attacks such as Bullet Punch or Fake Out.
Team Options
========

  • Psychic or Ghost-Type pokemon like Misdreavus, Kadabra and Mr. Mime are fantastic partners for Lopunny as they can defeat Fighting and Ghost-Type pokemon for her while Lopunny can cover their weaknesses in return.
  • Pokemon that appreciate Thunder Wave or Toxic support like Floatzel and Monferno pair well as many walls or faster pokemon can stall or take them out before they can sweep.
  • Sweepers, such as Floatzel and Kadabra pair well with Lopunny as they appreciate Lopunny's Healing Wish support, allowing them a second chance at sweeping.

Note, don't list stats in the Overview, except for Speed where it is applicable. Don't list the base Speed without explaining its significance either. It may be a skeleton, but you should flesh out your points as well, because most of them provide no information. An experienced contributor can get away with it because QC knows that they know what they are doing, but I don't suggest it.

the set should be something else, cosmic power is a terrible move and there are way better things to use baton pass in general. galbia said he liked offensive with flame orb and twave, and i've used limber cb with return / hjk / switcheroo / healing wish. i guess just have both of those be sets for now.
 
Mention how offensive sets are mostly outclassed by Stoutland and Bouffalant. I don't know why I'd use defensive Lopunny over Audino or Lickylicky either.
 
it's really not outclassed, it has support options that those mons don't. defensive sets are pretty bad though

also definitely mention that base 76 attack is really underwhelming and not being able to directly damage ghost types really holds this thing back from being good
 
So keep the two sets I have now and mention the underwhelming 76 Attack stat in the overview along with how Bouffalant and Stoutland outclass it in offensive sets?
 
just do offensive flame orb for now

you can mention that it's outclassed offensively if you want but mention its niches over them if you do so

offensive flame orb is switcheroo / twave / return / hjk with offensive evs, also slash healing wish with twave

Lopunny misses out on Pokemon such as Raichu and Floatzel, so it can easily be dealt with if weakened, support moves don't mean much here as PU does have Audino and Lopunny isn't a wall. Healing Wish + Klutz saves it from being irrelevant and Healing Wish is done better by Mr. Mime due to a better typing. Outclassed offensively by other Normal-types such as Stoutland, Ursaring, Dodrio, etc. and is walled by Ghost types as well.
 
I'll write the analysis over the set the QC decided on. But can I at least switch the item to Choice Band and the ability to Limber?
 
No. It's just a worse set, even with CB you're going to be a mediocre wallbreaker, with healing wish being the single niche to use over like anything better when we already have three solid healing wish mons, while flame orb is much better at crippling walls (like either way this will suck but choice band is making it more outclassed)

yeah, sorry but there's no reason we should have to tell you multiple times exactly what the set should be and still not have it implemented. sorry, but part of writing an analysis includes doing what qc says, and since you've been very non-compliant thus far, i think i'm going to reassign this. feel free to pick up another analysis as long as you're willing to do what the qc team asks.
