My team is focused on specs tinted lens yanmega and things that help a brotha out. I actually have like 8 different yanmega teams trying to find a perfect combination of mons that work well with yanmega. and i think this is probably the best im gonna get.
yanmega.gif
nascar buggerino (Yanmega) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Giga Drain
- U-turn

Yanmegas job on the team is to kill something when ever it gets a free switch. yanmegas switch ins are very limited and pokemon who aren't huge special defensive walls will get 2hkod by bug buzz. Bug buzz and Air slash are there for strong STAB and giga is there in case situational healing is needed and is some decent coverage. U-turn is to gain initiative when people have actual yanmega counters like florges and blissey.

salamence.gif
mence meat (Salamence) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Iron Tail

Salamence is pretty much the wincon every game, yanmega kills things that can take outrages then mence outrages things that cant take outrages, quite the combo. DDance is for set up so mence can win the game. EQ is for steel types i cant outrage and iron tail is for fairies i cant outrage, im lucky so i dont miss iron tail but if you want to replace iron tail with another move like fire blast for forre or whatever ur coverage preference is but i prefer iron tail.

whimsicott.gif
LOTUS FLOWER BOMB (Whimsicott) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Giga Drain
- Encore
- U-turn

Whimsicott was added bc i need some speed control and whimsicott is rly fast. Moonblast is its main offensive move hitting decently hard even though its special attack stat isn't the best. Giga drain is for health recovery and another good stab move. Encore is what makes whimsicott a god so of course i put it on here as well, the ability to stop set up sweepers is really nice. U-turn is to get out of unfavorable match ups and gain initiative.

aggron-mega.gif
hard body (Aggron) @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake

Aggrons is pretty much just my universal switch into any move bc its really hard to 2hko this mon w/o super effective moves. I also needed a rocker and a mega so aggron really just fit the team. Roar is to prevent aggron from being set up fodder and to force things out. Heavy slam is a strong STAB move that works well with how heavy it is. Earthquake is for steel types i cant hit with heavy slam. The EV's help aggron be specially bulky while also still retaining its physical bulk.

reuniclus.gif
rigor mortis (Reuniclus) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Recover

I needed a second win condition bc i cant rely on mence to win me every game (tho it probably could) so i added reuniclus for not only a bit of added bulk to the team but the ability to just win a game. CM is there for the sweeping potential, psyshock is there for the STAB and psyshock>psychic because of cm wars. Focus blast is so i dont get walled by dark types even though its extremely unreliable. Recover is for healing so that i can heal back up after taking hits.

tentacruel.gif
tentass (Tentacruel) @ Splash Plate
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Beam
- Sludge Bomb

Tentacruel is a bad pokemon but i needed a spinner and nothing else really fit. Tentacruel is here for spinning and thats pretty much all its for. I made it offensive so i could run max speed that way its easier to get the spins off. hydro is for strong stab, ice beam is for all the dragons in the tier, and sludge bomb is another strong stab move. Sludge bomb can be replaced with toxicspikes but i like hitting fairies. (to that random person on the ladder who said this wasn't my spread and i was faking calcs f u)

nascar buggerino (Yanmega) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Giga Drain
- U-turn

mence meat (Salamence) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Iron Tail

LOTUS FLOWER BOMB (Whimsicott) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Giga Drain
- Encore
- U-turn

hard body (Aggron) @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake

rigor mortis (Reuniclus) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Recover

tentass (Tentacruel) @ Splash Plate
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Beam
- Sludge Bomb
s/o to all the ppl in the measurements room
thx to Feliburn and thecrystalonix for helping me with smogon commands

Hey man, cool looking team you have got going. I've got some ideas you could try out to improve it.

• First thing i've noticed is the teams massive weakness to Mamoswine. It just needs a bit of prior damage on Whimsi & Yamnega to OHKO them with Ice Shard and you have to play dangerous 50/50s if you dont want to lose a pokemon everytime it gets a hit versus Salamence. Nidos are also really big threats, that is why I think you should use Bronzong over Aggron-Mega. This change allows you to deal better with these threats and gives you a better fairy check in general.

• Now that you lack a mega I'd like to suggest using Mega-Blastoise over Tentacruel. It gives you everything this team needs, really. Another Mamo check, a much better Entei check, beats Hydreigon 1v1 and a great and super reliable hazard remover in general.

• Considering how annoying Hydreigon & Krook are I think you should run Colbur Berry on Reuniclus to lure and beat both of them. This would also help versus things that often carry Dark coverage to beat Reuniclus such as Mamoswine or Blastoise.

Yache Berry on Whimsicott is another optional change you could use, it could help to lure Mamoswine and deal with waters that tend to run Ice coverage in general.

rigor mortis (Reuniclus) @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Recover

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic

Blastoise-Mega @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Mega Launcher
EVs: 104 HP / 252 SpA / 152 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Rapid Spin
- Aura Sphere
- Ice Beam

Hope I helped!

Hey Churmp eeveert, nice team you have here! Yanmega is a really interesting pokemon that hasn't seen much usage, but with the recent tier changes I can definitely see that happening. Teams more often than not are forgoing Florges in favor of Offensive Sylveon, and Specs Yanmega can really punish them for that. However, as Sacri' mentioned, your team does struggle against Mamoswine and Hydreigon, so I'd like to suggest a few changes that will hopefully improve your team's matchup versus said threats.

The first change I would like to suggest is replacing Reuniclus with Colbur Berry CM Cresselia. Colbur Cresselia is pretty much as solid of a Mamoswine switch in you can get without running something super niche like physically defensive Rotom-H. It also checks the Nido's, which can otherwise put a ton of offensive pressure on your squad. I would recommend an EV spread of 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spe with a Bold nature. The speed ensures you outpace max speed Modest Sylveon by one point, allowing you to Calm Mind on it without being 2HKO'd on the switch. The standard moveset of Calm Mind, Psyshock, Moonblast, and Moonlight would work here, and in conjunction with Colbur Berry you can reliably beat Hydreigon and Krookodile one on one.

Even with that change, your team is still rather vulnerable to Dark types, as Offensive Whimsicott is your only resist and is a soft check at best. For example, LO Hydreigon and CB Krookodile both 2HKO Whimsicott with their Dark STAB after rocks, meaning you can only switch in once before having to sack something. To mitigate this issue, I would suggest changing your item to Leftovers and your spread to a more defensive 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 Spe with a Timid nature. The bulk lets you take on the aforementioned threats much better, while the speed lets you outpace base 100s and below, notably Salamence and Hydreigon, allowing you to check them. Another change you could make is replacing Giga Drain with Stun Spore. Whimsicott can't break any bulky waters (not named Swampert) with uninvested Grass STAB, and you have passive recovery from Leftovers. Stun Spore gives you more counterplay versus threatening scarfers like Darmanitan and Hydreigon and can slow down fast pokemon that can otherwise check Yanmega, such as Crobat and Mega Aerodactyl.

The last suggestion I'd like to make is in regards to your Tentacruel set. I personally love Offensive Tentacruel, as it checks a ton of big threats that typically stay in versus you, expecting a passive defensive set. However, your set can definitely be optimized to perform its role a bit better. I would suggest changing your item to Black Sludge and your EV spread to 56 HP / 200 SpA / 252 Spe with a Timid nature, as this ensures you OHKO Krookodile and Mamoswine from full and Entei after rocks 100% of the time, which is really the only relevant benchmark you need to hit. I would also suggest replacing Sludge Bomb with Acid Spray, as this lets you punish bulky waters that may switch into you and even allows you to beat Suicune one on one.

That's all I have for you! With these changes taken into account, I believe you have a really solid team that provides much more support for Yanmega and takes on more threats overall. I hope you try out my suggestions! Thanks for reading, and good luck with everything.
