I'll rank these:

1. Kingler: A great man once said:

"It is beyond a reasonable doubt that Kingler12345 is the greatest LCer ever to have existed, and who will ever exist. He is more talented than every other LCer on this list combined. It is mathematically impossible to match him in ability. LC's legacy is built in his 6'6", perfectly chiseled shadow."

I'm not sure what "this list" refers to, but regardless, after going undrafted last snake I am back in prime lc form. Whether it comes to dominating tests and forcing a player to quit testing for the day because of tilt, or getting reqs for the most recent suspect test within just 100 games, I should be a shoe-in for snake. As a side note, it is an absolute travesty to waste my talent in RU (evidence attached).

2. Lokifan: Loki went 7-2 in the last SCL. I haven't played him, but after seeing his game vs Fille (I was kind of tuned out from snake stuff after going undrafted) in last LCPL semis it was evident to me he was even better than Hacker. As a result, I decided in tiebreak that I should face Loki and that Fille should face Hacker, because Midas was confident against Heysup against tiebreak. The other 2 won and I didn't have to face him. All that to say that that is a pretty terrifying prospect, he is probably my top choice for any SCL list excluding starsama (who I unfortunately don't get to mention in this list).

3. kythr: kythr won LC classic and WCoP and is generally considered a good player with good building skills. I don't have much to say here, his all-time record kind of speaks for itself.

4. Laroxyl: Laro, like kythr, is a very talented player in many aspects that has done well in LC tours. Despite having the unfortunate blemish on his record of being 0-2 against Piplup players in the finals, he was over 30k in LCPL for very good reason.

5. tazz: You might be asking, why is an obvious top 5 pick in the bottom of the list instead of above some of the other players? Honestly, it's kind of tiring to type this out and I don't really want to change numbers again after I forgot Loki and had to rearrange them once. There's not much to say about tazz, he saw his rise in 2019 a little after me but I've known him here and there since the late BW LC days when I came to the forum. Ever since he attained division 1 LC status, he kind of hasn't strayed. I would probably not rate him as better at team selection, but I think he'll come up with more interesting stuff in a meta less shitty than current SV LC but really these days it's about team selection which the others can do just as well.

6. LilyAC: Yeah lily probably won't sign up for snake after being asked 10 times and saying maybe, yeah lily hates SV, but she won the current LC classic and her team selection was a big part of it (good for SV!). Also kind of rose to the top around tazz, not much else to say here, but this is mostly based off talent and the few convincing displays of proficiency in SV rather than extensive current gen LC results a la Kingler.

7. Envy: Envy is involved and recently became moderator. He lost to me in last LC classic and has improved significantly since then. He will probably make SCL easily but he doesn't have the dearth of results or the ceiling that the people above him have. He will probably get there, but who knows when.

8. Éric: Eric beat me twice in the last LCBC and they won the tournament, no I'm not salty about it, yes you should stop asking. A more recent SCL mainstay, if you ask me 2021-2024 kind of just blend in so I'll just say he's new. He has his own understanding of the game and he builds and plays well.

9. Kaboom: I think Kaboom is a very good player, I'm not sure if he is SCL starter-level but this placement is largely based off the effort and teambuilding. If he figures out his team selection, pilots with even fewer mistakes, and internalizes that this game and our existence are fundamentally meaningless and that other people playing video games can earn tens of millions of dollars off wins or losses at TI (so it's easy to shake off losing a game on a Pokemon forum), he'll probably get to SCL and even start.

10. Quinn: Quinn and I managed LCBC and he understands all the tiers well and he plays them well. My only SV LC game in LCPL last year was vs him and I beat him (unfortunately that resume was not sufficient to get into SCL). He did actually get into SCL and I was in the Discord with him and starsama, and he was very helpful with advice/teambuilding etc. I think the others have a higher ceiling and more teambuilding/selection prowess rn but I really think with Quinn it's about how much he's going to put into a single tier (it's almost certain for SCL but might be too late).

11. Colin: Kind of like Eric, I have no idea when Colin became an SCL level starter. We're on the same team for this tournament, so we will probably end up testing against each other a good amount. He made it deep into LCPL, beating freezai handily (no laughing matter despite the latter's visible crust). I just don't really know much about Colin so far, I had to look back into last LCPL's threads to even realize he was on the Hacker team we beat in semis.

12. Always Edgy: I think this starts the next section of the power ranking, because Always Edgy was our breakout player and integral to our LCPL win last year. Fille knew he wanted to draft him (it might have been someone else in our drafting core but I think it was him), and he beat ghost and someone else really good iirc. He threw a pretty bad game to d4nny but bounced back and showed good games for the rest of the season. Expulso mentioned in LC discord that he was "heat" and he is probably on the top of the list for new additions to SCL. I think he also won LCBC for coco's team, although he didn't have as good a showing (mickey tour anyways lol). The team he ran against ghost is THE team I would've used against Loki in tiebreaks, and it's my favorite 6 I've ran in the tier I think it's very emblematic of a TOrb meta team.

13. Toadow: I don't know when Toadow stopped playing in the top echelon of LC, I believe he started around 2018-19 but it might've been even later than that so he kind of coincided with my twilight years on the site though I remember playing him in LCPLs and all that pretty well. I have no idea if he knows or is good at SV, but this is with the assumption that he is a slightly reduced version of himself from the USUM/SWSH LC days.

14. Elfuseon: Pig said he wanted to face the best player the week we played the Totodiles, that being Elfuseon, but Edgy was on that team. I'm not sure who's better, I haven't kept up with Elfu because I'm guessing his best years on the site were after I "left" in 2021.

15. Eniigma: I should maybe have put him above Toadow but my read on him is someone who might make wacky team choices but nevertheless was in (one? two? three? at least one) SCL for a reason. Did you guys know feen isn't in the RU hall of fame?

16. babyboyblues: He's a great vibe addition that may or may not get into SCL? Honestly he's kind of not very useful in our chat besides being fun to chat with and every gc I'm with him in I don't really talk LC with him it's just general talk. So he's kind of one of those users I've never seen play or contribute to a tournament, but he was in SCL as a support and I know he can play at a decent level so I guess I'll put him here.

17. Greedy_eb: Greedy could be lower or higher on your list based on whether you think he's a complete fraud who lucked Kingler to knock him out of SS LC Open or a strong, underrated up-and-comer with surprisingly good LC results. I honestly don't know which kind of player he is yet, partly due to lack of interest in finding out, but he at least mains SV LC in a pretty strong way so I will put him near the top half.

18. Wail Wailord: Clearly a good LC player but does he play SV? I'm honestly asking.

19. vooper: vooper I think won against our team last week with a weird screens team or maybe he built it. Some interesting stuff, a player that has been around, but he is going up against people that have seen a lot more competitive play at a higher level.

18. bleahey: Don't know much but I've seen the name. I know he's in LCPL.

21. naere: The rest of the LCers listed that I know are mostly old genners, but naere is incredibly versatile and good at team selection and prep. Not to mention good at playing the game of course.

22. AS Saint Priest: I think out of the remaining LCers he's probably the most SV-involved. I can't speak much to his play but a fellow Piplup in the cord.

23. reggg: I think reggg has been around the most of the remaining ones. Activity is important and although he isn't playing SV in LC I'm sure he's not unfamiliar.

24. Corckscrew: I fucked up again and forgot about Corck, I would really put him maybe above bleahey. I think still in the category of mostly old gen LC guy though that can click in the game.

25. Fantos13: I'm not sure Fantos has played a single game of SV, being a DPP LC mainstay, but if he has he can go here.

26. PoseidonWrath: I think he will probably put in more effort than Fantos to learn SV but still kind of an unknown to me outside ADV LC.

27. CMDoge: I also got tired and forgot about him. The new rankings should have Corck, then him, then bleahey.

28. Piyu: I think there's a small chance he might have played the tier and will put in additional effort to learn things in the tier. Any honest ranking based off winshares would have him way higher, he will outclick almost all of the names above him, but ranking is hard so I figured I'd put the non-mains low to keep it easier.

29. Rubyblood: Another 10-0 in SCL that for some reason is in LC and I think it's very similar to Piyu but I do not think he will put in the effort to learn LC LOL he will probably win a good number of games though

30. rahul_3301: And for my final fuck up, I missed one of the biggest new names for LCPL auction. He's put in a lot of effort and is active in the discord, I haven't actually caught his games but I think he is decent at the very worst and probably rapidly improving. I would put him above bleahey too, maybe even above CMDoge but probably not Corck.

Obviously Piyu and Rubyblood aren't playing in a vacuum, they will have good teams so they'll beat almost all the players below the top 12ish, but hey the rubric I used works pretty well on the other 28.

There are some other players listed here, but unfortunately I know them even less than some of the dudes I listed:

adding tempo di anguria, Flights of Fantasy and GasaiYunoSan to this (I think they got drafted in lcpl, congrats)

It was me I said it he’s the goat.

opinions are my own. kind of separated in tiers
#19-17: Argentina, China, Portugal: i dont know who these players are. maybe theyre good, maybe theyre not, im just not up to date with everyone in non lc tiers so i have to put them last.

#16: Belgium: two known players, without a lot of experience in LC. They can take games for sure, and will probably support each other, but i expect inexperience to play a big part.
#15: Latin America: gasai is very experienced in lc, but she uses teams i do not trust. sandía, on the other hand, is less experienced and doesnt build, so i expect this team's wins to come from gasy moreso than sandía.
#14: India: i see this core as a bit more experienced than latam, with rahul being a mainer who builds solid and piyu being a generally very good player who will probably be able to win with anything. Still less lc experience than teams above, and i really value that
#13: Asia: i love how trace plays, and i know vooper can build some very good teams, but some not so much too. i expect vooper to build for the both of them, and i think they can do really well if things go right.
#12: Bangladesh: i do not know who calambrito is at all, i expect eniigma to carry this slot both playing and building for both. results will probably depend on how many wins can calambrito get.

#11: US West: i love how bbb plays and builds, but i put them here bc i cant recall the last time he played this tier after lcwl LOL
#10 UK: i think lily is top 3 current lc players, but i put them here bc shes still really new to sv playing, and so is naere. lily (or naere) with a more experienced sv lc partner would probably put them way higher for me, but right now i cant justifiably trust them more than this i think.
#9 France: doge and toadow are lc mainstays... of the past. doge is, sadly, not doing so hot in lcpl, and toadow i cant recall the last time i saw him play singles. they have a lot of potential, both of them have been top 5 lc players at some point, but i have to put them lower than the people with more sv accolades to their names.
#8: Canada: who let the french player sneak to canada? thank god they did, he wins
#7: Europe: larry is listed but i dont expect him to do anything lol. quinn and wrath will both build, i expect solid games from them, but i think their ceiling is lower than the teams above.
#6 Germany: its kind of sad how loki has to play for germany bc theres no africa team lol i expect him to carry this slot. fantos is good but loki is the top 1 of the pool in everyones eyes

#5: Italy (spitaly): entering the tier where i could see everyone being the best performer in the pool. i put them "only" in top 5 bc laro plays less lc lately, but they both are capable and have proven to get x-0/x-1 records consistently, as long as corck isnt teaming up with me.
#4: US Northeast: lcpl teammates so boost. in all seriousness, i think this placement might surprise you, but i think really highly of kabooms building and playing, and regggggggg's playing too. i think they have an incredibly high cieling, specially considering the fact that they have half of the lc playerbase in their team as well.
#3: Brazil: theres not even a need for envy ghostslot jokes, edgy is as incredible as envy in my humble opinion. this duo has probably the most potential out of everyone not named kythr/tazz, but i put them in 3 instead of 2 bc i can also see them flopping a bit, and by that i mean losing more than once.
#2: US South: colin and greedy are solid enough playing. i expect the second greedy 6-0. i put them here in number 2 bc i think having hacker and kingler, in case they actually care about this tour, means they will have the perfect support to consult teams and plays. when typing this im realizing i probably should put this lower, as i think this should be numer 2 if hacker and kingler were actually playing, but im not redoing this top.
#1: US Midwest: kythr and tazz.

We all been waiting for LCWC( which is somehow the most hated tour by community leaders ever) and Brazil specially is still super hyped after the emerge of a lot of talent past World cup and the resurgence of old legends.

this tour is still not the World cup we want but it is the time to consolidate Brazil as an LC powerhouse alongside the so called super regions( WENTRAL/ EUROPE)

Envy Always Edgy representem
