This is my first attempt at a Meta team. I scoured the Smogon forums for hours and here is my first ever attempt.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sword Dance
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Meteor Mash

Reason & Role
Lucario is my Physical Sweeper. Mostly chosen because it's my favorite mon.

Moves
  • Close Combat is used for a powerful and accurate STAB move.
  • Meteor Mash is for Steel STAB coverage. Also provides a means to hit Ghost types.
  • Extreme Speed is for revenge killing.
  • Sword Dance is the sweeping setup.
Set
  • Jolly Nature and Max Speed EV investment is to for the best possible speed matchup. Primarily, he can beat out Excadrill without speed modifiers.
  • Max Attack EV investment is for the best possible damage output
  • Justified is for an added benefit when switching into a dark move.
  • Life orb pushes Lucarios damage to the limits

Rotom-Heat @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp

Reason & Role
Rotom-Heat is my setup Special Sweeper.

Moves
  • Overheat is to there to deal with the common Steel types (Ferrothorn, Corviknight, etc).
  • Volt Switch is for a lightning STAB to face the likes of Gyarados and Hawlucha.
  • Will-O-Wisp is to cripple Physical Attackers.
  • Nasty Plot is there for the sweeping setup.
Set
  • Max Special Attack EV investment is for the best possible damage output
  • Timid Nature and Max Speed EV investment is to for the best possible speed matchup being a sweeper. Specifically beating our Gyarados that seems to be dominating the Dynamax Meta.
  • Wise Glasses item for a little extra push in the damage department.
  • I'm contemplating using Thunderbolt over Volt Switch. Seems like a waste to setup with Nasty Plot only to switch out with Volt Switch.

Corsola-Galar @ Eviolite
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Will-O-Wisp
- Strength Sap
- Night Shade

Reason & Role
Corsola is my annoying Wall that sets up Stealth Rock.

Moves
  • Stealth Rock because it can and it's useful
  • Will-O-Wisp cripples Physical Attackers
  • Strength Sap is its means of sustainability
  • Night Shade is its way of doing any meaningful damage with it's poor attack stats.

Set
  • Eviolite greatly improves Def and SpDef
  • Bold nature, HP and Def EV investment improve its role as a Wall
  • Curse Body further improves its annoyance by disabling moves trying to hurt it.

Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Mirror Armor
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Taunt
- Defog

Reason & Role
Corviknight is Utility kit. Being a flying, it nullifies earthquake threats.

Moves
  • Taunt shuts down any mon that needs setup to get started
  • Defog clears the field to throw a wrench an any team that relies on hazards/screens
  • Roost allows Corviknight sustainability
  • Brave Bird is it's STAB move with great damage and perfect accuracy

Set
  • Leftovers improves its sustainability
  • Impish Natue, HP and Def EV invests also improves its sustainability
  • Mirror Armor reflect any stat reduction back onto the opponent, further increasing Corviknight's sustainability.

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Haze
- Recover
- Toxic

Reason & Role
Toxapex is my mixed Tank and Hazer.

Moves
  • Scald is a STAB water move with the ability to burn to cripple physical attackers.
  • Haze prevent Toxapex from being setup fodder and nullifying mons that have had a chance to setup.
  • Toxic eats away at anything while Toxapex sits there and recovers
  • Recover is for sustainability

Set
  • Calm Nature, Black Sludge, Regenerator, and Max HP and SpD improves its sustainability.

Grimmsnarl @ Muscle Band
Ability: Prankster
Evs: Hp 252/ Def 252/ Attack 4
Impish Nature
- Darkest Lariat
- Spirit Break
- Power Swap
-Thunder Wave

Reason & Role
Grimmsnarl is my Setup Sweeper/Dynamax counter. Prankster paired with Power Swap allows Grimmsnarl to snatch any stat buffs his opponent has received.

Moves
  • Darkest Lariat provides a Dark STAB move that ignores stat changes
  • Spirit Break provides a Fairy STAB move
  • Power Swap is the key to his ability to counter Dynamax mons
  • Thunder Wave helps out Grimmsnarl with his poor speed.

Set
  • Muscle Band provides an edge to his STAB moves.
  • Impish Nature, Max HP and Def EVs improve sustainability so he can take advantage of his Power Swap.

I would change Will O Wisp on Rotom Heat for Shadow Ball and potentially make the item Heavy Duty Boots instead of you want this to be a sweeper. I’ve also noticed that you’re super rain weak but I’m not really sure how you can change things to beat it

Thanks for the feedback.

What makes shadow ball a good choice? Is it the move coverage?

Could you elaborate on how I’m rain weak? I’m still learning meta and don’t see how/why I’m weak to rain.

In rain, Adamant Scarf Dracovish outspeeds and 2hkos your entire team. You have problems with LO Seismitoad as well. Grimmsnarl can probably get off one T Wave on a threat but even then it dies straight after and leaves you weak to the other rain sweepers
