Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Mild Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish
This is the pokemon the rest of the team is built around. The Nature and EVs are to maximize its attacking potential while allowing it to survive a neutral hit in order to set up rock polish. Moonblast is its primary stab which hits pretty hard. Diamond Storm its other stab that, while not hitting as hard as moonblast, still does a good amount of damage, along with a change to further increase its survivability. Earth Power is there for coverage against pokemon like Heatran and Metagross. Rock Polish increases speed and allows it to outspeed most scarfed pokemon after its used.
Magnezone @ Assault Vest
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt
I put Magnezone in here since it traps the steel types that give Diancie a lot of problems, like scizor and ferrothorn. HP fire and thunderbolt are there to handle the pokemon that would normally wall diancie. Volt switch is there for momentum. Flash cannon is another stab of his that hits non-resisting pokemon for some damage. Assault vest and EVs are there to allow it to contribute to the team in ways other than trapping steel types.
Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Volt Switch
Rotom is in the team since both Magnezone and Diancie have problems with ground. Choice Scarf and Trick allow it to cripple utility pokemon or non-steel type walls such as chansey. Will-o-wisp is to cripple physical sweepers, since M-Lopunny and M-Gyarados give a lot of problems to the team. Hydro pump is to deal damage since it hits hard without special attack investment. Volt switch is to give the team momentum, and also gives rotom an escape option if the match-up is unfavorable.
Latias (F) @ Haban Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
Latias is in the team to take care of the walls that magnezone cannot handle, like slowbro and gliscor. Thunderbolt and Ice beam are its two primary moves, which have good coverage with one another and hit slowbro/gliscor for super effective damage. Defog is to clear out the entry hazard that wear down the team when switching in and out. Psyshock is used since its a good stab move that hits Poison and Fighting types for super effective damage. The haban berry is so it can win against dragon types like latios, oppising latias, or garchomp.
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 236 Def / 24 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Roost
Skarmory is here to take physical hits that the other pokemon cannot take. Stealth rock is to set up entry hazards Whirlwind is used so skarmory can rack up residual damage and PHaze CM clefable or CM slowbro. Brave Bird is used to hit Fighting Types like Conkeldurr for super effective damage while being able to wall it at the same time. Roost and leftovers are there as a form of self recovery from brave bird recoil damage and damage taken before using whirlwind.
Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Blast
Garchomp is in the last slot to allow for more offensive options, since I felt the team was becoming too defensive. Stone Edge and Earthquake are to provide for wide coverage and High Damage. Outrage is also for raw damage as it has STAB and 120 BP. Fire Blast is to catch steel types that switch in unexpectedly, as well as allow for an option to handle steel types if magnezone goes down.

This is the team. I'd appreciate any feedback you guys could offer, particularly if there's a better mon to use than garchomp, since he feels a little out of place.
