[SET COMMENTS]
Manectite Magearna is a top physically defensive pivot capable of blanket checking wallbreakers and sweepers like Regieleki, Tyranitar, and Mega Evolved Galarian Zapdos. Volt Switch allows Magearna to pivot while chipping Milotic, Slowbro, and Ho-Oh. Thunder Wave is an incredibly useful tool that debilitates fast threats like Barraskewda, Kartana, Xerneas, and Solgaleo, while Heal Bell can remove status conditions for its teammates. Ice Beam lets Magearna take Landorus-T and Pinsirite Hippowdon by surprise, at the cost of some utility. Pain Split gives Magearna much-needed recovery while being especially good against high-HP walls like Ho-Oh and Blissey, although Thunder Wave can be used instead. 152 Speed EVs allow Magearna to outpace Modest Lucarionite Magnezone, although a spread of 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe and a Timid nature can be used to outspeed base 90s like Groudon. Slower wallbreakers like Lunala and Aerodactylite Buzzwole and Solgaleo love Magearna slowing faster threats like Dragapult, opposing Solgaleo, and Kartana, while frailer pivots like Barraskewda, Dragapult, and Zeraora like Volt Switch safely bringing them in to wallbreak. Galarian Zapdos pre-Mega Evolution, along with Lopunnite wallbreakers like Barraskewda and Zeraora, are immune to Magearna's Intimidate, so secondary physical answers like Slowbro, Hippowdon, and Landorus-T all make for good partners. Magearna often doesn't outright counter many Pokemon and gets worn down quickly, so said teammates also help it answer the metagame as a whole. Due to the slew of special attackers that threaten it like Heatran, Zapdos, and Lunala, specially defensive Pokemon like Ho-Oh and Blissey are necessary pairings.

Manectite Magearna is a great physically defensive pivot on Balance and Semi-Stall teams mage can fit on BO too capable of stopping physical attackers like Kartana, Solgaleo, and Altarianite Zygarde. Fleur Cannon is used to decimate KO Terrakion Terrak isnt super relevant rn, id rather put something like gapdos here, Zygarde and generally frail Pokémon along with chipping Ground-types like Groudon, while Volt Switch is used to maintain momentum. Thunder Wave is used to cripple targets like Xerneas and Kartana including solg here could be a good idea, its fine if you don't want. Finally, Pain Split damages high-HP Pokémon like Blissey and Milotic while restoring its own HP. Heal Bell can be used to remove volatile statuses from teammates, while Grass Knot is an option to heavily dent the likes of Swampert and Groudon i would add rhyp here since besides knot rhyp is relatively safe vs mage. 252 HP EVs are used to tank Special attacks and 156 Speed EVs to outspeed Modest Lucarionite Magnezone; the rest is put into Defense to tank Physical attacks better. 152 Speed EVs outspeeds Modest Lucarionite Magnezone, while the remainder is used to maximize physical bulk.

Magearna's presence greatly benefits Lunala as it can switch into both Kartana and Solgaleo with little risk, and Blissey also likes Magearna for its ability to prevent it its presence prevents Blissey from becoming setup bait against Kartana, Kyurem and Zygarde. Likewise, Magearna appreciate Blissey's Special bulk against opposing Lunala and Zapdos. Magearna is also vulnerable to the many Fire- and Ground- types in the tier, so teammates like Ho-oh, Milotic and Slowbro Kartana I understand where you're coming from here, but it almost makes it seem as though kart serves as a defensive check to said grounds and fires, which isnt true; bro is a defensive check to them are great for patching these holes.

In this section, make sure to include:
- the role that the Pokémon plays;
- coverage moves that affect its role; in this case, Earthquake allowing Abomasnow to defeat would-be Steel-type switch-ins, furthering its ability as a wallbreaker;
- a description of the EV spread in one sentence or less; don't focus on "default" things like maximum Attack investment, do give reasoning behind the benchmarks chosen;
- a brief example of teammates that benefit from the analysed Pokemon's presence;
- a brief example of foes that the analyses Pokemon is vulnerable to + teammates to help cover them.
- This section shouldn't be more than five or six sentences long.

Manectite Magearna is a top physically defensive pivot capable of stopping wallbreakers and sweepers like Galarian Zapdos, Solgaleo, Zygarde, Kyurem, and Kartana cut this down to only 2 or 3 examples, up to you which. Volt Switch allows Magearna to pivot while slightly hurting getting chip damage on Milotic, Slowbro, and Ho-Oh. Thunder Wave is an incredibly useful tool that cripples fast threats like Barraskewda, Kartana, Xerneas, and Solgaleo, while Heal Bell can remove status conditions from Pokemon like Zygarde, Excadrill Mew, and Lunala. Ice Beam is an option on teams where its utility is less needed to take Landorus-Therian and Pinsirite Hippowdon by surprise. Pain Split gives Magearna much needed recovery while being more active against HP behemoths high HP walls like Ho-Oh and Blissey, although Thunder Wave can be used instead on certain teams. 152 Speed EVs allow Magearna to outpace Modest Lucarionite Magnezone, although a spread of 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 EVs and a Timid nature can be used to outspeed base 90 Pokemon like Groudon. Slower breakers like Lunala, Charizardite Y Heatran Aerodactylite Buzzwole, and Aerodactylite Solgaleo love Magearna's ability to cripple faster threats like Dragapult, opposing Solgaleo, or Kartana, while frailer pivots breakers like Barraskewda, Dragapult, and Zeraora like the safety of Volt Switch while breaking. Magearna does boast a good Defense stat and Intimidate, but Lopunnite breakers like Barraskewda and Zeraora, along with pre-mega Galarian Zapdos, feast on are unbothered by Intimidate, and so Pokemon like Slowbro, Hippowdon, and Landorus-Therian all make for good partners. Specially defensive Pokemon like Ho-Oh and Blissey are necessary pairings as to let Magearna do its job properly. expand on this last point a bit

Manectite Magearna is a top physically defensive pivot capable of stopping wallbreakers and sweepers like Galarian Zapdos, Kyurem, and Kartana.i disagree with kart/kyurem. u don't actually stop jyurem since it can just pp stall fleur cannon and u don't consistently switch into gapdos, long-term it just beats u cus u have to try and pain split off all the hp u lose + it triggers defiant pre-mega. maybe mention eleki? and ttar perhaps? Volt Switch allows Magearna to pivot while getting chip damage on Milotic, Slowbro, and Ho-Oh. Thunder Wave is an incredibly useful tool that cripples fast threats like Barraskewda, Kartana, Xerneas, and Solgaleo, while Heal Bell can remove status conditions from Pokemon like Zygarde, Excadrill, and Lunala. mention in a sentence that magearna isn't like, a great counter to anything but its speed tier/typing/pain split let it midground into a lot of threats like gzap that u mentioned

(isn't this a more general thing? i'd argue most pokemon appreciate a cleric, so listing specific examples doesn't seem needed) Ice Beam lets Magearna take Landorus-T and Pinsirite Hippowdon by surprise, at the cost of its utility. is an option on teams where its utility is less needed to take Landorus-Therian and Pinsirite Hippowdon by surprise.
