I'm new, so I dont know much about how teams are posted. So im going to try and copy what I've seen here.
A lot of the EVs are rounded or 'misplaced' because I play more on Diamond than Shoddy, and IVs are an uncertainty on the real games which allows me to be a little bit more creative.
I built this team just with the motive to use a Magnezone. Everything else was basically built around him, as much as I could. So here we go:
Infernape (m) +Focus Sash
60Atk, 252SpA, 196Speed
Naive
-Fake Out
-Stealth Rock
-Close Combat
-Overheat
My lead. It flinches things, throws up rocks, and then hits with powerful STAB moves until it goes down. One of the things I like about using a suicidal Ape is that you dont have to take care to use it for mixed wallbreaking or even be wary of the drawbacks its attacks cause [at least not as much], which is nice for me as an inexperienced battler. I chose Overheat because I wanted the higher accuracy; even though Fire Blast can do more over repeated turns, it's all irrelevant to me if we miss and get killed.
Gyarados (f) +Life Orb
4HP, 252Atk, 252Speed
Adamant
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge
-Ice Fang
Presents resistances to everything Magnezone is weak to - perfect opportunity to switch in, D-Dance, and start killing things. Not to mention she takes the Water and Ice attacks aimed at Infernape and Dragonite, as well as being able to use my friend's Milotic to set up on X)
Magnezone +Leftovers
176HP, 252SpA, 80Speed
Modest
Magnet Pull
-Thunderbolt
-Flash Cannon
-Magnet Rise
-Subsititute
And here is the point. This guy is the star; although not as much as we'd like him to be. He mainly just takes out Steels that would keep Gyarados from a good sweep, which is more of a supportive than starring role, sadly enough. Flash Cannon is used over Hidden Ice because its too hard to breed for it on the games, but it isnt a total loss, as it hits Tyranitar, who nobody likes.
Blissey +Leftovers
148HP, 252Def, 108SpA
Bold
Serene Grace
-Softboiled
-Thunder Wave
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
I'm a little uneducated on Blissey variants; I plan to switch to a cleric or calm minder sometime in the near future. I put this in because the first three just werent 'wallish' enough for me, adding this gives me a defensive pivot to easily switch into special attacks and refocus the direction of a battle. I also really hate opposing sweepers, and this gets some degree of success in stopping people who like to rush through enemy teams.
Dragonite (m) +Choice Scarf
100Atk, 156SpA, 252Speed
Lonely
-Ice Beam
-Flamethrower
-Outrage
-Aqua Tail/Earthquake
Gets a little interesting here. Or at least it does for me, because I've never seen anyone use a Dragonite that's wearing a scarf. Nonetheless, I like him for the surprise factor. The Scarfed Outrages are particularly useful and can take out opponents in a flash, like Gengar, who nobody likes as well. Aqua Tail is chosen over Earthquake so that airborne opponents don't get a free switch into a Choiced attack, but I can replace it with Earthquake if everyone has good reasons. [I know the type coverage is superior when using the Ground move since we're running Ice Beam.] 12 points of Attack go to Speed, just because I really like maxing things. I was uncertain of the IVs as usual on the game, and even though our speed wasnt perfect, surprise surprise, this Dragonite actually managed to net itself a Max Attack IV. I was very proud :)
Donphan (f) +Leftovers
252HP, 4Atk, 252Def
Impish
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Ice Shard
-Rapid Spin
Another choice that fits in with my adoration of wallish Pokemon, she's here to blow those rocks away. [Dragonite and Gyarados really, reallly lke her. I cant turn my back for five seconds without Dragonite mounting her.] Given the opportunity off a bad switch or something of the like, she can also do a bit of sweeping on her own, due to the versatility of her attacks. I'll never forget the time she blew through five Pokemon :D The only thing that's beginning to really suck is the continued prevalence of Special Attackers that keep her from staying in, or that kill her way too quickly. I hate it, but oh well. That's why Blissey's here. Donphan is one of my all-time favorites, and I wont give up on her anytime soon.

So there's my team! I run a couple of different others, but this is the one I'm going to use a lot in the future on the games. Please help me, because I'm an absolute failure and need the advice lol
