Make the sunshine come out--RMT

I'm getting kind of bored of rain dance teams, and they are catching on pretty quick on shoddy it seems. So I went with a sunny day team, and I'm having a little bit of trouble. Rain dance was so much easier, but I think that Ludicolo and Kingdra made it that way with their godliness.

So, gimme some input please.

Jolteon (?) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Sunny Day
- Agility
- ThunderboltI've never used anything but Jolteon for starting up weather. I dunno who else I would try. I've used Ninjask a few times, but as soon as he comes out people switch in and phaze me out. T-bolt if the opponent starter is weak to it.

Shiftry (?) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP/112 Atk/96 Spd/48 SpAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Grass Knot
- Brick Break
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Rock Slide
440 Speed with Clorophyll. Mixed sweeper, I was thinking of using Life Orb over Expert Belt.

Exeggutor (?) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 164 HP/220 Spd/126 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Sleep Powder
- Psychic
- Solarbeam
Sunny day Backup, since Jolteon usually isn't a safe switch to get it back up. Fast sleeper, and then pound away with Solarbeam or Psychic.

Shaymin @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/4 Spd/252 SAtk
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Seed Flare
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Leech Seed
Shaymin can deal out pretty decent dmg and take hits pretty well too. I don't feel the EV's are too sharp, but eh. This thing outstalled a Blissey last night somehow.

Tangrowth (?) @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP/128 Atk/128 SAtk
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Earthquake
- Power Whip
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Brick Break
Another Physical attacker, with HP Fire there for whatever.

Drapion (?) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 60 HP/252 Atk/196 Spd
Adamant nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Night Slash
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang

So, I've been doing well I suppose. I just feel like it's missing something. I got pretty destroyed by a Hail team last night, but the opponent was rocking my ass with out-prediction. I don't really like using too many OU's, my team might almost count as all BL...haha. But I'm thinking I might need to bite the bullet and go with Heatran or Arc for that fire-catch.

I'd really appreciate some input. I feel like I'm lacking, and could use some help.

Thanks a lot for reading.

Ok, several things. You definitely need to bite the bullet and add Heatran, your only Fire resist on a sunny day team is Sharpedo, who won't last long. The team also seems a bit overkill w/ the grasses. On top of that, Jolteon is the only poke not weak to Bug, and it's not like he will be tanking anytime soon. Gliscor would really help remedy this, and provide you w/ some sturdy defense. Probably over Sharpedo, who doesn't really look like he fits, he loses power on his STAB Waterfall in the sun. If you need another Sunny Day set up poke, Bronzong could work there, and provide you w/ hypnosis and stealth rock, as well as more general bulkiness. You should also probably replace those SolarBeams with Grass Knot/Energy Ball, too many Ttars and Hippos will come and and ruin your day. And, by changing it to sandstorm, you would then have to charge SolarBeam, giving them a change to switch to something that resists it. That's it for now, I'll have another look tomorrow and try to offer advice.

Thanks a lot.

Yeah, I think I'm in desperate need of heatran....maybe arc? :(

I was originally going to use Drapion over Sharpedo, how weird.

I was considering dropping Exegg for VP to get rid of some of my weaknesses. I don't know where I'd place Bronzong though, and I'd have to go with heatproof I think.

No problems yet with the Solarbeam thing, but I could see it coming up. If anything I should drop it from Shiftry since he doesn't have Sunny Day at all.

Yes, you really need Heatran in this team. Shapedo can´t take too many hits and under the sun an overheat from heatran will at least 2HKO it, if you want to protect your team from your opponent´s fire attacks you should use Heatran. Gardevoir and Porygon-2 can be nice on your team as their can Trace Flash Fire Pokemons and become immune to fire.
Also you don´t need 4 grass types on your team, Scarf Heracross can outspeed your team even under the sunligth and rape them with megahorn. Gliscor can be a nice hera counter here because under the sun he loses his weakness to water.

I switched out Sharpedo with Drapion. I wanted someone that didn't need sunny day so I don't end up over-relying on it. Glsicor is ice weak, as is most of my team so I didn't wanna use him.

I added enough spd to outspeed Hera with my Shiftry, but I need to consider going with HP Fire/Flying instead of ice on him if I want him to do anything to Hera.

I'm not sure where I wanna put heatran. I suppose either Tangrowth or Exegg. I wanted to replace Exegg with VP once I looked around a bit, and Tangrowth rocks pretty hard.
