SV OU Making Monkey Business

So I've mostly played Monotypes and some of the lower tiers, a very mediocre player. Some of my friends and I decided we want to Monkey around and make a Monkey team for fun. It's fun but something feels off about it. I'd want to stick with monkey mons only if any advice can be given.

Smart Monkey (Munkidori) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Toxic Chain
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- U-turn
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Wave
- Psychic

This monkey is the main fast special attacker. I've considered replacing U-turn with Tera Blast and changing it to Tera Ghost cuz Gholdengo straight up walls it. Other than that, this guy feels solid. Hits hard when it’s not a resist and Toxic Chains has been pretty consistent. Feels like it just needs a tiny tweak to go bananas.

Heated Monkey (Infernape) @ Leftovers
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Flamethrower
- Aura Sphere
- Grass Knot

No one ever expects the special Infernape. Its fun catching people off guard with it. Debating on keeping Flamethrower or switching to Fire Blast. Maybe also switching to Life Orb for more damage. Don’t really see myself clicking Calm Mind, but I don’t want to make it just 4 attacks, cuz at that point why not make it Choice Specs? Which now that I’m typing I might do…

Angry Monkey (Primeape) @ Eviolite
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Rage Fist
- Earthquake

Poor Primeape. Of all the monkeys, he feels like the most deadweight, Maybe I just drop the Eviolite and make him fast and Band him? Unsure what to do, might end up switching to Slaking instead. Even with Eviolite it feels too squishy, and I would use his evolution but it’s behind Uber bars.

Music Monkey (Rillaboom) @ Grassy Seed
Ability: Grassy Surge
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Drain Punch

Rillaboom is easily the hardest hitter on the team. Basic Rillaboom stuff, might change Grassy Seed to Life Orb and Acrobatics to Knock Off/High Horsepower. At the current moment, this one feels the most consistent.

Evil Monkey (Zarude-Dada) @ Choice Band
Ability: Leaf Guard
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Drain Punch
- Power Whip
- U-turn

Dada SPECIFICALLY cuz the scarf made me think of an evil cap. I have not seen the movie. Anyway, another hard hitter that usually Power Whips in the Grassy Terrain. It's okay, but definitely needs a tweak as well. Might consider Scarf as well, but I feel like it’d miss that little oomph it needs to get KOs.

Feely Monkey (Ambipom) @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Last Resort

Funny monkey. Copied a Kanto Persian's set and it works. Might add U-turn just to get some schmoovement in, but it's there to just spam Last Resort. Surprisingly effective on anything that isn’t immune/resistant.

If any advice can be given to make these monkeys shine, I'd appreciate it. This is more for fun than seriousness, but who doesn't wanna see some funny teams as a break from all the serious matches? Thanks for checking it out.

I was going to say to use Loaded Dice Tail Slap instead of Last Resort, but Ambipom doesn't have Tail Slap anymore! Or maybe it never did, idk.
