[SET COMMENTS]
Mamoswine makes a name for itself as an early- to mid-game wallbreaker with access to excellent Ice / Ground STAB coverage bolstered by its high Attack. Icicle Spear combined with Loaded Dice provides Mamoswine with a strong Ice-type STAB move for Skarmory and Clefable that can also break through Focus Sash. On Never-Melt Ice or Icium-Z sets, Icicle Crash is the preferred option for consistent damage and a flinch chance. Ice Shard circumvents Mamoswine's relatively low Speed and helps it revenge kill faster offensive threats like Latios and Sand Rush Excadrill in a pinch. The final move slot is customizable based on team preference: Stealth Rock provides utility for the team and can set up late-game sweeps; Knock Off removes items like Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers on Pokemon like Skarmory and Rotom-W for itself and its teammates; Freeze-Dry is an option to hit Rotom-W, Gastrodon, and Quagsire harder than any of its other options. An Adamant nature is preferred to maximise Mamoswine's damage output, while Naughty is an option for Freeze-Dry sets. Maximum Speed investment lets Mamoswine get the jump on the crowded base 60 to 80 Speed tiers, allowing it to outpace Pokemon like Buzzwole, Mega Tyranitar, Aegislash, Mega Heracross, and Bisharp. Mamoswine finds a niche on offense and VoltTurn teams thanks to its ability to dent defensive staples like Tangrowth and Ting-Lu. However, it struggles with physically defensive walls like Skarmory, Rotom-W, Buzzwole, and Slowbro. Partners that can take advantage of these Pokemon, like Latios, Thundurus-T, Iron Hands, Iron Moth, and Hydreigon, make excellent partners for Mamoswine. Iron Moth, Hydreigon, and Thundurus-T appreciate Mamoswine's ability to pivot in and pressure specially defensive walls such as Chansey. Pivot support from Victini, Rotom-W, and Galarian Zapdos can assist Mamoswine in entering the field. Mamoswine, in exchange, pressures common Ground-types and Rocky Helmet users like Hippowdon, which can hinder VoltTurn strategies. Similarly, Slowbro offers Mamoswine Teleport and Future Sight support, which can let Mamoswine switch in safely and significantly damage switch-ins such as Quagsire, Tapu Fini, and Buzzwole. Spikes support from Mew and Skarmory helps pressure Mamoswine's checks, especially after Mamoswine removes their Heavy-Duty Boots with Knock Off.

Mamoswine makes a name for itself as an early- to mid-game wallbreaker with access to excellent Ice/Ground STAB coverage bolstered by its high Attack. Icicle Spear combined with Loaded Dice provides Mamoswine with a stronger Ice-Type STAB for Skarmory and Clefable that can also break through Focus Sash. On Never Melt Never-Melt Ice or Icium-Z sets, Icicle Crash is the preferred option for stronger consistent damage Or something similar, just be sure to put a mention of how it differentiates itself from Spear. Ice Shard circumvents Mamoswine's relatively low Speed and helps it revenge kill faster offensive threats like Latios and Sand Rush Excadrill in a pinch. The final move slot is customisable based on team preference: Stealth Rock provides utility for the team and can set up late-game sweeps; Knock Off removes items that can wear down Mamoswine checks This makes it seem like the items wear down the checks. Instead, mention the removal of Leftovers from checks like Celesteela or Rotom-W like Skarmory for itself or its teammates; Freeze-Dry is an option to hit Rotom-Wash Rotom-W maybe also mention Quagsire/Gastrodon/Swampert harder than any of its other options. An Adamant nature is required preferred to maximise the damage output for Mamoswine, with Naughty being an option for Freeze-Dry sets. Maximum Speed investment lets Mamoswine get the jump on the crowded base 60 to 80 Speed tiers, allowing it to outpace Pokemon like Buzzwole, Mega Tyranitar, Aegislash, Mega Heracross, and Bisharp Not super necessary to explain evs for Max Max sets but this is fine, you can remove if you'd prefer. Mamoswine finds a niche on bulky and hyper-offense teams thanks to its ability to dent defensive staples like Tangrowth, Ting-Lu and Toxapex Mamo is mainly seen on offense/Volt-turn teams that want an offensively threatening Mon that can set Rocks. HO doesn't really want it without Focus Sash and so I wouldn't mention that, and Bulky teams don't love Mamo as it doesn't really fulfill the typical role of a ground type for those teams. However, it struggles with physically defensive walls like Skarmory, Rotom-Wash, Buzzwole and Slowbro. Partners that can take advantage of these Pokemon, like Latios, Thundurus-Therian Thundurus-T, Iron Hands, Iron Moth and Hydreigon, make excellent partners for Mamoswine. Iron Moth, Hydreigon and Thundurus-Therian Thundurus-T appreciate Mamoswine's ability to pivot in and pressure specially defensive walls such as Chansey . Scizor can be a significant hindrance as it forces Mamoswine out upon entry, and Mamoswine appreciates Pokemon like Volcanion that can deny Scizor free set-up Is Scizor really a problem? Max Attack Adamant Bullet Punch doesn't kill, and Max HP Scizor is cleanly 2HKOd by Earthquake. Don't think its worth a special mention. Volt-turn support from Victini, Rotom-Wash, Thundurus-Therian, You mention it twice before, so you can just leave it out here and Galarian Zapdos can assist Mamoswine in entering the field. Mamoswine, in exchange, pressures common Ground-types and Rocky Helmet users like Hippowdon, which can hinder Volt-turn strategies. Similarly, Slowbro offers Mamoswine Teleport and Future Sight support which can let Mamoswine switch in safely and significantly damage switch-ins Any examples? My mind goes to Rotom-W, Quagsire, Buzzwole, Tapu Fini, respectively. Entry Hazard Spikes I would mention spikes here because Mamo can set its own Rocks support from Mew, Skarmory, and Excadrill helps pressure Mamoswine's checks, especially when after Mamoswine knocks off removes their Heavy Duty Boots with Knock Off.
