ORAS OU Manectric is kewl(Peaked #1 w/91.1% GXE)

Merry valentines day smogon, since I am alone on valentines i made a team with my friend hiye and the team ended up peaking number 1. So i decided to share the team. The team is around hazard stacking then winning with clef! Oh and you have a manetric-mega cause manetric-mega is hawt and can put alot of pressure on teams espeically with hazards up.

So first we began with the mega which we chose as mega-manetric cuz we dont like ho teams! jk i just named a ramdom mon tbh and therefore we started with manetric.

Next we decided on landorus-therian because stealth rocks are kewl and volt u-turning with manetric-mega is kewl too. landorus is also a flying type so we can escape from all those ground moves that wanna hit manetric!

Next we really got stuck here cause we didnt know how to move forward. So we decided to choose the everything counter, status abosorber clefable! Clefable helped the team absorb status and is a good win con and clefable is just clefable and annoying to most teams.

Next we notice how the team was weak to talonflame cuz it can spread wil-o-wisp and altough clef can abosorb the wil-o-wisp it cant really beat talon 1v1. So we decided on heatran. This also helps us vs other clefable and other fairy types like sylveon and is a great mon to take fire hits.

Ok so now the team dosent really have a water resisit so things like keldeo can pressure this team af. And since the team had no hazard control we wanted something that can recover on its own so we decided on slowbro since it can recover with regen and spread twaves and scald burn things.

Ok. so we really wanted a hazard remover on this team but we notice that team is really weak to bisharp. So we decided to run spikes so we can handle hazards teams with hazards off our own and we needed a mon that could beat bisharp so we decided on chesnaught. chesnaught helped us vs dark types and made a nice fire,water, grass core lol.

Ok so manetric troubles offense alot and can also provide the team with volt switch to give me a little bit of momentum. I chose manetric-mega over lopunny-mega because manetric can help me with pinsir which otherwise troubles this team. Thunderbolt is manetric hardest hitting stab move, volt switch gives the team momentum, hidden power ice lets manetric hit ground types like garchomp, gliscor and landours-therian. Flamethrower is chosen over overheat because no one stays in with ferro and scizor on manetric and getting to minus 2 is bad! Also i have hazards so flamethrower + hazard should be enuf to oko ferro/scizors and other steels.

I chose using Landorus-t as my Stealth Rocker because it is one of the few Stealth Rockers that can get up rocks and gain momentum. I chose to use Knock Off over Stone Edge because it helps me wear down other opposing Stealth Rockers or Defensive mons easier such as opposing Landorus-t, Hippowdon, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Clefable. U-turn on landours-therian and volt switch on manetric forms a volt turn core which is pretty cool too.

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD
Calm Nature

Clefable is a great mon. It can usally calm mind up and over sweep teams. I chose knock off cause shed stall is annoying imo. And knock off also helps with heatran as u knock off their leftovers so its harder for them to beat clef 1v1 and u can set up all over it if they dont have a steel move. You can use twave over knock off if u want cuz twave is a great move. Moonblast is clefable hardest stab moves. Calm Mind lets clefable set up and makes it a win con. Soft-Boiled to let clefable stay alive and healthy.

Heatran provides for me a very good Talonflame answer, potential Latios switch in, Cleflable answer, and something that generally gives stall a hard time. I run max spd because zard y gives this team a hard time. This is also the reason why I run Stone Edge so i can hit talonflames and zard y. I run toxic to widdle mons down i have lava plume because It has a 30% chance to burn like scald and i run taunt to do what taunt does like stop clefable from setting up.

Slowbro gives this team a water resist so it helps vs things like kabutops/keldeo etc and also can help vs fire types that heatran cant deal with like fire types that run earthquake like zard x. Thunder wave is used to slow things down and stop them from moving! Slack Off is to stay healthy and alive, Psyshock is used as a stab move to hit fighting types like keldeo,conkeldurr etc and scald is like the best move in the game with the 30% chance to burn.

Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Spiky Shield
- Drain Punch


Chesnaught is the spiker and the bisharp check for the team. Leech seed to let chesnaught recover for itself and other members of the team. Spikes to hazard stack up. Drain Punch so i can hit the dark types like bisharp. Spiky shield to scout out moves on choice mons and lets me beat things like bounce gyardos 1v1 and can help me widdle down mons.

No switch ins to this monster. You can try to dodge a focus blast with tran and lava plume and put it in range of thunderbolt from manetric.

Calm Mind alakazam poops this team since it outspeeds every mon and can 2ko everything. Esepically since i dont have twave on clefable so uhh try not to let it calm mind.

I dont have a switch in especially since landorus dosent have stone edge but ur oppoent dosent know that! But u can deal with this mon with manetric-mega.

Nice team but I could make it better.
First off change Heatran from Gentle to Calm
Second change, You said you wanted to use Knock Off to knock off leftovers but we all know you just want to beat shedstall, so just use Flamethrower for more coverage. Stone Edge Heatran beats Sp Def. Talonflame.
Also, you have 3 physical defensive walls but no rocky helmet. I suggest you change Leftovers to Rocky Helmet on your Landorus-t to punish U-turners. And opposing volturners will just wear down your team with hazards since you have no hazard removal.

if you want a way to better handle stuff like mega zam or gardevoir something you could try is thunder wave > knock off on clef. it paras them and pretty much neuters them to the point where everything on your team at least has a chance at beating them.

another big threat to your team is zard y because you have no solid switchins and can only rko is with mane, which isn't exactly reliable. running a chople berry on heatran might be something to look into so you can eat a focus blast and nuke it with a stone edge. chople also helps with gengar as well since that can be annoying if it runs sludge wave.

I mentioned this in chat earlier, but if you wanna handle Mega Gardevoir, Mega Alakazam and maybe even Mega Pinsir a bit better, SpD Jirachi > Heatran can help out with that. It checks all of em, gives you something that can more reliably defeat Clefable and another way to deal with Mega Altaria. It can become your new Stealth Rock user as well. Slowbro handles Talonflame, so it shouldn't be too big of an issue since you got that, and Lando-T if necessary.

If you want something else to help KO Zard Y, you could change Lando-T to a Scarf variant (now that Jirachi can run rocks), and it'll be able to outspeed and kill Zard Y, along with other stuff like Raikou, which looks somewhat annoying as Clef looks to be your only answer to CM variants (not that it's a bad answer, but you don't wanna over rely on it).
