Online Competition March International Challenge (Series 12 Doubles)

International Challenges are back! We haven't had one since the last Players Cup Qualifier in early 2021 so this is exciting to see! Unfortunately for VGC Players, it does look like this tournament will not be rewarding Championship Points for the upcoming 2022 season (source), however the later ICs scheduled for this spring may reward CP, we'll really just have to wait and see. The competition runs from March 11th to March 13th, Midnight GMT+0 to 11:59 PM GMT+0

However, there is still a great reason for VGC players, BSS players, or anyone really to play in this tournament: the Shiny Zapdos-Galar distribution! You can get your own shiny Zapdos Articuno for playing 3 games during the competition. Registration is currently open and will run until March 10th at 11:59 PM GMT+0

A brief reminder on the Rules

• Double Battles played at level 50
• Timer Rules - 90 second Team Preview, 45 seconds of Your Time per turn, 7 minutes of Your Time per game, 20 minute overall timer per game
• Item Clause and Species Clause - Players may only use at most one copy of each item and at most one Pokemon per Pokedex number.
• GS Cup Rules - Players may have up to two restricted Pokemon on their team. Restricted Pokemon list
• Pokemon may Dynamax or Gigantamax
• Mythical Pokemon are still banned entirely.
• Like all online competitions, there will be a game cap of 15 games per day once every day for three days. These will rollover, so you can play all 45 on Sunday if you wish.
• NEW FOR THE MARCH INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE: Players can earn Championship Points that will count towards VGC Worlds! The points breakdown can be found here.

To signup:

1. Access the VS from the in-game menu (X button)
2. Select Battle Stadium
3. Select Online Competitions
4. Join the Official Competition currently accepting signups
