The thought:
Marowak has a nice 110 base defense, yet the two sets mentioned on the Strategy dex don't have anything but offensive sets. With this moveset, you can strengthen Marowak, while at the same time doing some good damage on the side. The 106 attack EVs help boost his attack to a good 222, still allowing him to chip off some HP along with the toxic. Knock off is just there to annoy, but can be switched with Double-Edge, abusing Marowak's Rock Head ability.
