Welcome to the inaugural Masters Trios! Inspired by the various Trios tournaments hosted across Ruins of Alph in individual generations, this is a casual, for-fun tournament involving teams of three (or four) players facing off against each other in a double-elimination bracket. Unlike existing Trios tournaments, however, Masters Trios will include the three Smogon Masters tiers: ORAS OU, SM OU, and SS OU. Use this as an opportunity to meet new people, hone your prep and playing skills, and, most importantly, have fun!

- This is a standard, double-elimination tournament in the ORAS, SM, and SS OU tiers. All games are best-of-one.
- All general tournament rules apply. To be explicitly clear, NO GHOSTING!
- Replays will be required for your win to count. Any games without replays will be decided by coin flip.
- When necessary, make substitutions as early as possible to ensure you have ample time for scheduling. Tag the player subbing out, the player subbing in, and the opponent in your post.
- Any substitutions made within 24 hours of an agreed-upon time or within 72 hours of the deadline will be held to said time unless the opponent agrees to reschedule. Activity decisions within these windows will favour the team that does not make a last-minute substitution.
- No extensions will be granted. Any full sets not completed by the deadline will be decided by coin flip. To avoid this, please schedule and/or make activity claims early.
Starters will be locked into the tier they sign up in. Substitutes may sub in to play any of the three tiers.
