Hey folks, today I thought I would share with you a team I used to get reqs for the Gliscor test.

This is a stall team revolving around keeping hazards off very consistently by virtue of having two defog birds.

Building Process
:weezing_galar: :dondozo: :blissey: :corviknight: :gliscor: :alomomola:

The original iteration I had featured :weezing_galar: with :alomomola: to support it, but I found it was quite inconsistent and often a dead slot outside of occasionally checking :iron_valiant: and somewhat staving off :gliscor: with swords dance, with me hardly ever being able to defog without being put at a disadvantage of some kind. Additionally my :ogerpon_wellspring: matchup was quite bad with the best check being tera dragon physdef scor. Furthermore if there was a :kyurem: on preview the play was to curl up in a corner and cry.

:weezing_galar: :dondozo: :blissey: :corviknight: :gliscor: :toxapex:

The next idea I had was to drop :alomomola: in favor of having a slightly more positive MU into :ogerpon_wellspring: as well as most variants of :primarina:.
Ironically the whole idea I had at first was building around weezing but it proved much too MU fishy and exploitable, which lead me to finally drop it eventually for :talonflame:. This proved to be Very Much Better as you will see.

:talonflame: :dondozo: :blissey: :corviknight: :gliscor: :toxapex:

I also dropped Body Press in favor of Brave Bird :corviknight: because lmao the ogerpon matchup was still garbage

The Team

:sv/talonflame:

Talonflame @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 248 HP / 208 Def / 52 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Defog
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost

Talonflame oh my god this mon is so much better than weezing that I'm gonna skip the minisprites. It defogs on Gholdengo, can check waterpon with tera if needed, ACTUALLY OUTRUNS STUFF, checks the axel mons nicely, hard stops rillaboom if/when corv is worn down, punishes u-turn from all sorts of things, does your taxes and washes your car.

:sv/dondozo:

Dondozo @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Avalanche
- Body Press
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Dondozo is here to sit on most physical threats. I decided not to go with Curse here as it restricted my choice of attack way too much. Avalanche is here to hit :roaring_moon: and the occasional clueless SD :gliscor:. Body Press hits :kingambit: as well as in conjunction with tera fighting, saving my ass vs :ogerpon_wellspring: if I can't just kill it with :corviknight:., and sometimes even mixed Dragon Dance :kyurem: If you really wanted, you could drop BP for curse, to have a nice win condition vs some fat teams, but I wouldn't recommend it personally.

:sv/blissey:

Blissey (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Seismic Toss
- Calm Mind
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock

This is a standard :blissey:, not much to say here. Tera dark vs evil psyshock creatures like :gholdengo: and :hatterene: and occasionally stored power :latias: or :iron_crown:. It is a good idea not to excessively use it unless forced into a CM war that :toxapex: cannot win with haze and toxic, however, such as vs. :iron_valiant: or :raging_bolt:.

:sv/corviknight:

Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Protect
- Roost
- Brave Bird

Corviknight's role on this team is primarily to check mons like :great_tusk:, :samurott_hisui:, :ogerpon_wellspring:, and mixed :deoxys_speed:. that Dondozo doesn't like switching in on for fear of losing its :heavy_duty_boots:.
Tera Dragon is chosen solely to stop :ogerpon_wellspring: effectively.

Brave Bird was added to the set because press is completely incapable of stopping :ogerpon_wellspring: and I already had a litany of :kingambit: checks. Unlike :talonflame:, however, it can defog in front of a lot of mons immediately & at little risk, such as the aforementioned :great_tusk: packing knock off.
Protect allows us to effectively stop future sight shenanigans, as well as stall out pp from things such as :garganacl:, the aforementioned :deoxys_speed:, and :primarina:'s psychic noise, which otherwise can harass us pretty well.

:sv/gliscor:

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 244 HP / 168 SpD / 96 Spe
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Spikes
- Protect
- Knock Off

I ripped this set straight off supa's quag rmt which by now has been spammed to hell and back. For those who just yoink the paste from OU room without reading it however, specially defensive :gliscor: accomplishes a few things: It is able to be a backup fsight absorber, trade a hit with :gholdengo: if needed, and stomach tera ghost :iron_moth:'s moves, which otherwise has a very good matchup into :blissey: if necessary.
Spikes and knock are necessary on most stall builds for progress making; despite me having two defoggers it is still easy to keep them up because this is a gliscor lol.

Tera water helps against :iron_moth:, as well as Rain in general (but you do have a pex for that) :darkrai: after some chip, and lets you beat :samurott_hisui: if Talonflame hasn't had a chance to burn it. Earthquake beats pesky lead :glimmora:, :heatran:, and allows for us to beat :raging_bolt: without tera, which this gliscor can outspeed, which :blissey: appreciates to cut down on hax possibilities.

:sv/toxapex:

Toxapex @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Recover
- Baneful Bunker
- Haze
The Pex™ is here to stop threats such as CM :iron_valiant: without risking our :blissey: being whacked by CC. It can also point and laugh at :gholdengo: forever unless it packs psyshock. This is a pretty standard set, with baneful bunker to punish contact from the likes of :primarina: and many common uturn users like :cinderace: and even :ogerpon_wellspring:. CM knock clef, while a very fake set, is undoubtedly a threat without pex so I thought I'd mention it here.

It's not often you actually have to tera this thing, but tera steel helps us LARP as :corviknight: and absorb future sight, as well as be resistant to psyshock and :ogerpon_wellspring:'s grass STAB in a pinch. On the topic of :ogerpon_wellspring: you could opt for a mixed defense set to have a much better chance at being 3HKOed by its power whip, but this is at the expense of needing more recovers vs :gholdengo:. Toxic was chosen over tspikes because you will be defogging your own hazards away a fair bit of the time, and it's not that easy to find a spare turn to actually set them unlike with :gliscor:.

[SPOILER/]
