Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Encore
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
The first pokémon on this team has to be my favourite 5th gen Pokémon, Alakazam. Alakazam has a great ability, speed and Specially offensive power. The option to hit Pokémon on both sides is really good as well. The reason I run encore on this pokémon is because of Crocune. You can just encore it into Calm Mind or Rest and you will get off a free hit or switch as soon as your opponent will switch out again. Psyshock, shadow ball and Dazzling Gleam seemed to me like it was the optimal coverage for this pokémon and you dont have to rely on focus blast, as that often lets me down. The focus sash is because it will stay intact due to magic guard and even after a pokémon has set up you will get off a very powerful hit on it.

Absol @ Absolite
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Tail
I have to be honest here. This Absol set isn't mine but it is really good. Absol is pretty fast and powerful on the physical side. It's ability Magic Bounce will allow you to set up on annoying things such as Trevenant and insures that you cannot get roared out. Iron Tail is for the obvious Florges. After one SD it will 100% knock out every Florges spread there is:: "+2 252 Atk Mega Absol Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Florges: 486-574 (135 - 159.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO"
Knock Off is there for obvious reasons and Sucker Punch for some nice priority.
This team is also kinda' built around hazard stacking and if you get up stealth rocks and one layer of spikes you can also deal with scarf threats that resist dark moves:: "+2 252 Atk Mega Absol Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mienshao: 219-258 (80.8 - 95.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and 1 layer of Spikes"
I am actually considering to change it's nature to adamant cuz I find myself clicking sucker punch a lot after I have set up anyways.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Trick
- Ice Punch
I dont really think Jirachi needs explanation. However it is required to keep this thread alive and thus I will do so. Choice Scarf Jirachi has saved my ass numerous times on a great variation of teams. It deals with things like Froslass leads and Mega Aerodactyls. The Serene Grace ability gives you a 60% chance to flinch with the iron head. Ice Punch is there for super effective damage on for example Flygon. U-turn is there to keep momentum because Rachi, as useful as it is in this metagame, gets walled by quite some pokémons. Trick is just when you realize that you do not need the scarf anymore and want to cripple a wall.

Chesnaught @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Spikes
This is the standard Defensive Chesnaught set. The only difference is that I run Wood Hammer because it has a lot more power than Drain Punch or Seed Bomb. This is also part one of the sneaky hazard stacking team that hides in the overal team.

Rotom-Heat @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
SpD Rotom-H is really good combines with the Chesnaught. It can take BoltBeam and fire moves which is huge for my team. Get off a wisp when needed. I has unreliable recovery but that is still better than no recovery at all. It can keep momentum with the volt Switch and can still get off some solid damage with the Overheat

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Volt Switch
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
Forretress is the last member on this team. It is basically part #2 of the hazard stack that I wanted on this team to allow my main sweepers to sweep more effectively. On top of that I needed something that could take hits and is a reliable spinner. Forretress fit in perfectly for that role AND CAN KEEP MOMENTUM with the Volt Switch. So it is perfect and beyond to what I was looking for.
However I am running 3 pokémon weak to fire which can be a pain.
In general I really like this team especially Mega Absol but it has some weaknesses and my opponents sometimes expose them to me really well. I truly hope some of you can give me some tips on how to make this team a bit better since I seem not being able of doing that.
