[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Aerodactyl carves out a niche on hyper offense teams due to its unmatched Speed tier, powerful STAB moves, and access to Dragon Dance. Its defensive typing allows it to switch into Pokemon that commonly annoy hyper offense teams, such as Heatran and Mega Lopunny. However, Mega Aerodactyl faces stiff competition for the Mega Evolution slot on hyper offense, and is generally outclassed as a Dragon Dance sweeper by Mega Gyarados and Mega Charizard X. Earthquake threatens the Steel-type Pokemon that resist Mega Aerodactyl's STAB attacks, such as Magearna and Heatran. Mega Aerodactyl does face an interesting choice for its last move slot, as without Fire Fang, Mega Aerodactyl cannot beat Mega Scizor, Kartana, or Ferrothorn. However, without Stone Edge, Mega Aerodactyl is walled by Zapdos, which most hyper offense teams tend to struggle to break. A Jolly nature is preferred to Adamant to allow Mega Aerodactyl to outspeed Mega Lopunny prior to setting up.

Due to Mega Aerodactyl not hitting incredibly hard after a Dragon Dance, it greatly appreciates entry hazard support to wear down its checks. As such, Mew and Landorus-T are essential teammates. Additionally, Mega Aerodactyl can effectively handle Heatran, which is extremely helpful in order to enable teammates like Magearna, Bisharp, and Serperior. Mega Aerodactly is very vulnerable to strong priotiry from the likes of Mega Scizor and Rillaboom, which means checks to these Pokemon such as Serperior, Kommo-o, and Bisharp are good teammates.

Other Options
=============

Ice Fang may seem appealing to hit Landorus-T, however, Landorus-T is already hit hard by Stone Edge and Dual Wingbeat, and losing the ability to hit Kartana, Mega Scizor, or Zapdos can be detrimental.
