ORAS OU Mega Alakazam Team

This is my first RMT. I would really appreciate your inputs.

Alakazam-Mega @ Alakazite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Dazzling Gleam
- Shadow Ball

Standard Alakazam. Nothing much to say. Psyshock is a decent stab move. Focus Blast to hit things like Heatran and Tyranitar. Dazzling Gleam to hit Sableye and a more accurate move to hit dark types. Shadow Ball to hit things like Mega Metagross on the switch.

Ferrothorn @ Shed Shell
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Gyro Ball

Alakazam is extremely frail, so I need a good thing to switch into if I can't ko my opponent's pokemon. Defensive Ferrothorn is the first thing that came to mind. Threats like Azumarill, Bisharp, and Scizor will do laughable damage. The item Shed Shell is great for not getting trapped (Like Magnezone or Gothitelle).

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- U-turn

I wanted something to take care of threats to Ferrothorn and Alakazam. Things like Talonflame and Charizard. Landorus-T fits that niche perfect. I want to make mine a bulky attacker to take physical hits and dish out extremely hard hits in return. Standard choice scarf set on a non-scarf set.

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt

I wanted a specially defensive wall to sponge up hits that my previous 3 mons won't take. Chansey was the first thing that came to mind. However, I hate Chansey with a burning passion so Mew it is. Will-O-Wisp to help my physical bulk. Taunt forces other walls to switch out. Knock Off is such a good move as it OHKO's Gengar (which most people have the desire to bring in when I send out Mew) and ruins a lot of a Pokemon's utility (Lando-I's Life Orb, Chansey's eviolite, ect...) Roost because all the recovery.

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Psycho Cut
- Ice Punch
- Poison Jab

WHY IS THIS MONSTER IN RU?! But seriously, throw a choice scarf on this thing and you have one of the best win conditions ever. Once Ghost types are out of the way, choice scarf, pure power, STAB high jump kick is so spamable, it's scary. Psycho Cut is another great STAB and better accuracy than Zen Headbutt. Ice Punch and Poison Jab are both for coverage.

Porygon-Z @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tri Attack
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Hyper Beam

I love Porygon Z. It's such a cool mon. I added it to this team to make my opponent's Shadow Ball less spamable. Ti-Attack is my primary attack and hits really hard with Life Orb+Adaptability. Dark Pulse to hit those pesky Ghosts. Ice Beam for coverage. Hyper Beam because that's the best way to go out if I'm about to faint.
