ORAS UU Mega Bee and Friends

Hey guys Magikarpite here for a new team i would like to show you guys and hope you guys like. This team is based around Mega Beedrill and the sheer power and speed it has makes it one of the hardest hitting and fastest mons in the tier so I wanted to see if i could make a team around it and it strengths while covering its weaknesses and just driving right through teams.

Mega Beedrill was the start of this team because of its sheer offensive presence and ability to destroy teams without trying

Next I wanted a Rocker who could deal with alot of mega beedrills weaknesses such as Psychic, Rock, and Flying so i added bronzong over empoleon because of Bronzong's ability Levitate it can switch in on EQs that Beedrill doesnt want to take

Next i saw a glaring Fire Weakness and since Bronzong is Psychic type which is weak to ghost and dark i needed a pokemon that resisted all of that and hydreigon fit the job perfectly and added a powerful sp. attacker combined with beedrill

I still had a fire weakness and i saw that i was lacking some bulk even with bronzong. I also didnt have a setup sweeper yet so i went with suicune just because i noticed that the team was also kinda weak to SD Gatr

Now i thought i needed to finish up the core so i added gligar with defog support for beedrill and U-turn momentum for allowing Beedrill to come in and smack something that wanted to switch in on i thought it was a great pokemon to add to the team

Last but certainly not least i was weak to Abomasnow and some what mega aero so i added mienshao with the intent of scarfing it to kill all the things with HJK that this team has issues with

beedrill-mega.gif

@ Beedrillite
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Att/ 4 Def/ 252 Speed
Nature: Jolly
Moves - U-Turn
- Poison Jab
- Drill Run
- Protect

Mega Beedrill is the star of this team With its High Attack and Speed i just decided to invest all the evs in that and 4 in its Physical Defensive since it really needs all the help it can get in that area. Moveset is standard with protect just so you can get to you Mega form with absolutly no cost at all.

giphy.gif

@ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 Att/ 252 Sp.Def
0 Speed IVs
Nature: Sassy
Moves - Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

This thing was a great addition to the team. I made it Sp.Def invested because Bronzong's typing really helps it against pokemon like Alakazam, Porygon Z, The Nidos and so much more. It also provides great stealth rock and toxic support for Mega Beedrill. Nature is for Gyro Ball and so are the IVs with a general moveset.

Hydreigon_XY.gif

@ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Sp.Att/ 4 Sp.Def/ 252 Speed
Nature: Timid
Moves - Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- U-Turn

Next I wanted Hydreigon. Since I already decided on scarf mienshao i wanted to go with a hard hitting Sp.Attacker and nothing screams power like Specs Hydra. I used timid nature because U turn wasnt that important enough to weaken its defenses and and the 4 in Sp.Def in essential for Download Porygon just in case you ever run into it.

Suicune_XY.gif

@ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/ 248 Def/ 8 Speed
0 Attack IVs
Nature: Bold
Moves - Scald
- Roar
- Calm Mind
- Rest

Next i have RoarCune on the team for support against setup sweepers and setup right back in there face and sweep them. 0 IVs are for foul play from umbreon and standard EVs along with 8 Speed so SpeedCreep other RoarCunes and Roar them out first .

latest

@ Eviolite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 Att/ 252 Def
Nature: Impish
Moves - Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Roost
- Defog
To Finish up the core i added Gligar for defog support and U-Turn Support. Since im running Defog i cant run Immunity so Hyper Cutter it is. Once Again nothing special about this gligar set just making it physically defensive over Sp.Defensive because Bronzong is already really Sp.Defensive so just made it Defensive.

Mienshao_XY.gif

@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Attack/ 4 Sp.Def/ 252 Speed
Nature: Jolly
Moves - High Jump Kick
- Poison Jab
- U-Turn
- Knock Off
Finally I have Choice Scarf Mienshao for just physical power. With Reckless with thing can OHKO standard Mega Aero which was kind of a issue for this Team. Reckless insures the OHKOs with HJK because of the extra power increase making this thing nothing but a hard hitter. Without regenerator tho there is more of a penalty for missing HJK so be careful of that. I put poison jab over stone edge because Slurpuff was becoming a real issue for this team so i slapped that on just to help with dealing with it.

Haxorus.gif
with mold breaker and DD this thing can tear through this team if you let it setup you best bet in going in with Mienshao when it sets up its first DD and HJK for the kill hopefully

Slurpuff_XY.gif
This Little thing is a huge ass threat if you let it set up a belly drum, once again your only bet is to hope you outspeed with mienshao and kill it with Poison Jab

134.png
This thing walls my team really well with being able to protect on Mienshao HJK and able to live Hydreigon's Draco. My best bet is getting a Toxic on it with bronzong and switch into mega Bee to hit it and hope it can kill it if its low enough

Conclusion

This team is really good from my experience it hits hard kills a lot of threats and can give you great momentum in battle (Maybe 4 U-turners is a bad idea but hopefully you guys can help me with that if you feel the need to). Once again the way to play this team is to hit hard while you can and break down teams with a combination of rocks and momentum.

Sup dude pretty solid team you got there, beedrill is a monster O.O. One thing I do see that will help you with some of your problems concerning slurpuff and vaporeon is with the hydreigon set. Looking at your team the really only thing puff will be setting up on is hydreigon as the only other potential bait is gligar which you will be u turning out a lot anyways. I think life orb taunt > specs on hydreigon as this will allow you to taunt those slurpuffs who think the are going to drum on you for free and then you can switch into the proper check. This can also help you with vaporeon as well due to the fact that vap likes to come in on special hitters like hydreigon. You can hit them with a draco or a dark pulse and follow it up with a taunt so they cannot wish back up. Having life orb will help you retain a good chunk of hydreigons power as well.

Solid team, hope I helped n_n.

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Dark Pulse
