I've been stuck in the 1600's for a long time and I need to make replacements to go higher. All suggestions are welcome!
Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Drill Run
- Poison Jab
- Protect
This insect is the main man on the team taking the term revenge kill to new heights. I chose it due it's great speed and attack. It acts as my main physical sweeper with access to a very spammable poison jab. It also forms a volt turn core with Rotom w and magnezone. Now for the set: Poison Jab and U turn are stabs with the latter scouting and forming cores and drill run to nail steel types that resist both stabs. Protect is for the safe mega evolution.
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
With the talonflames roaming around beedrill isn't safe without the washing machine. Serving as a defensive wall and as physical sweeper/wall breaker punisher, it's done its job quite well. It's set: Hydro Pump and volt switch are stabs with latter like u turn scouting and forming cores will o wisp punishes sweepers who dare to stay in front of rotom w and can cripple on the switch and pain split is there for recovery.
Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
This things main purpose is to hunt down ferrothorn, forretress, skarmory and scizors etc. And does its job well. Timid and scarf makes it decent at revenge killing. Many times after a banded scizor killed something off with bullet punch, this boss had arrived to murder them. It's set: T-Bolt and flash cannon are stabs with volt switch once again scouting and forming cores and HP fire is there for the steel types.
Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 8 SpA / 52 SpD
Bold Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Heal Bell
- Protect
- Wish
Sylveon is in every OU team I make due to it' great bulk. It always serves as a cleric and this is its standard set. It's EVs invested in defense let it take latios's psyshock comfortably allowing it to avoid the 2HKO. An un invested hyper voice still hits hard thanks to pixilate. Heal Bell helps relieve status. Wishes can help other pokemon and works in conjunction with protect to heal Sylveon.
The above pokemon need to stay in the team because so far they have been extremely reliable and provided help. The next two to be honest are filler. Feel free to suggest replacements.
Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Endeavor
- Ice Shard
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
Standard LeadSwine. Along with it being arguably the best endeavour+priority user. Thick Fat stops it's fire weakness. The sash allows it to pull off endeavour and ice shard. Rock Slide was chosen over eq to hit everything. Stealth Rock is obvious for LeadSwine. It helps Beedrill break through other sashed mons and sturdy mons.
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- U-Turn
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Brick Break
Standard Banded TechZor set. However instead of dumping evs in speed, I put them in bulk due to the fact that it already has poor base speed. Brick Break over superpower which trades power and stat drops for screen breaking. U-Turn provides STAB and scouting and forms a core. Bullet Punch because it is Scizors best move due to STAB and Technician and priority. Knock off serves as coverage.
Thanks
