OM Mega Blaziken [QC: 1/1] [GP: 0/1]

Blaziken-Mega @ Life Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shift Gear
- V-create
- Close Combat
- Headlong Rush / Glaive Rush

Mega Blaziken turns up the heat in Balanced Hackmons! Shift Gear allows Mega Blaziken to become a truly monstrous threat, as after one use it outspeeds and OHKOs threats such as Mega Alakazam and Fur Coat Zamazenta. When paired with Desolate Land, the threat of V-create provides Mega Blaziken with ample opportunities to use Shift Gear, as most foes will be KO'd by an unboosted V-create. Close Combat is an excellent move for threatening Steel-types sporting Fire-type immunities, such as Fire-immune Celesteela and Arceus-Steel. Mega Blaziken's last slot is flexible, Headlong Rush Steel-types that take neutral damage from Fighting- moves and have Fire-immune abilities such as Magearna and Solgaleo, whereas Glaive Rush can be used to hit Dragon-types, such as Koraidon and Giratina. Fur Coat Ho-oh is a reliable way to impostor-proof teams using Mega Blaziken.

Mega Blaziken turns up the heat in Balanced Hackmons! Shift Gear allows Mega Blaziken to become a truly monstrous threat, as after one use it outspeeds and OHKOs threats such as Miraidon and Ting-Lu Considering how Lu is slower anyways and also dies to Band VC/CC already better to use an example like FC Zama, Yveltal maybe, and Arceus formes after rocks, and if you are just looking for outspeed flutter and zam can be more relevant choices than mirai. V-create, paired with Desolate Land, is an incredibly powerful option to hit foes that would hope to switch in on Close Combat, such as Arceus-Ghost and Flutter Mane Not quite the point, since CC is more of a coverage, either merge with the previous sentence on ohkos vc gets with and w/o boost or mention vc's insane base damage giving it opportunities to setup or something. Close Combat is an excellent move for threatening Steel-types sporting Fire-type immunities, such as Registeel and Arceus-Steel Since the set has first slash Headlong mention Celesteela instead of Registeel. Mega Blaziken's last slot is flexible, Headlong Rush can be used to hit Poison- and Electric-type Pokemon such as Arceus-Poison and Arceus-Electric, whereas Glaive Rush can be used to hit Dragon-types, such as Mega Garchomp and Ultra Necrozma Since all of these drop to Vc anyways more important coverage targets are Eternatus for both (miraidon to an extent too but that mon is rare), Headlong also hits Fire Immune Flutter and rarer stuff like Fire immune solg and ghold/aegi, Glaive hits Korai and Giratina formes. RegenVest Ting-Lu is an excellent partner for Mega Blaziken, being able to both remove and set entry hazards, as well as being a fantastic slow pivot to allow Blaziken to come in on prime targets and fire off incredibly powerful attacks. Usually we mention an improof.
