XY OU Mega Camerupt O-balence

First, let me clear up that I know that this team is far from perfect. I want to make a good team centered around mega Camerupt's wallbreaking power and, to a lesser extent, Gyrados as a stall pokemon. I could really use some suggestions, so, without further ado, the team!

Dr. Coils (Gyarados) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Careful Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Dragon Tail
- Waterfall
- Rest

Gyrados is a really underrated pokemon when it comes to stall, escpeicially with acess to intimidate, thunder wave, and dragon tail/roar. Rest without sleep talk is kind of weird, but it works out to help it beat stuff such as chansey. Also, Gyarados has AMAZING synergy with Mega Camerupt, taking the water and ground type moves for it, while Camerupt koes the electric and rock types with earth power.

Vesuvius (Camerupt-Mega) @ Cameruptite
Ability: Sheer Force
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide

At the core of my team lies Mega Camerupt. It Can Check talonflame, both Mega Charizards, And-get this-Mega metagross. Yup, it can take an earthquake and OHKO with Earth Power. There are numerous other things is checks, amongst them mega lopunny and mega beedrill. It can counter almost any electric type (including Thunderus), and also heatran. However, Mega Camerupt's countering abilities are amplified due to chansey' s wish passing, allowing it to counter mega metagross, non-AV Conkeldurr, and Megazard X.

Toady (Breloom) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Spore
- Rock Tomb
- Bullet Seed

In honesty, I keep Breloom around mostly for revenge killing purposes. Spore is nice and life orb bullet seed can OHKO gliscor with five hits. It can surprise talonflame and Charizard on the switch with technician-boosted Rock tomb, and it also does heavy damage to Thunderus. He also checks all Azumarril variants- even at +6.

Rotten egg (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Toxic
- Protect

Chansey is on my team for cleric duties. It's collosal wishes will instantly heal anyone on my team to full health. It can stall out almost everything that's not a steel or poison type with toxic. Wish Makes It much easier to switch in, well, everybody. Heal bell can cure gyarados of rest sleep, and any other status ailments my team might have. Other than that, you get 100% of your General chansey goodness.

Photon (Latios) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Surf

Latios is my hazard remover, but I ususally don't use Defog unless I have a ton of hazards set up against me. Other then that, it has a fine time spamming Draco meteor against the opposition. Surf hits stuff like excadrill and terrakion as well and hitting scizor neutrally. Psyshock is an additional stab for when I don't want to lower my Spatk.

Rouge (Staraptor) @ Choice Band
Ability: Reckless
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Double-Edge
- Close Combat
- U-turn

We all know that flying resists are few and far between, and so birdspam was the way to go. However, since I already have a revenge killer (and hate talonflame) I decided to go with staraptor due to its nuclear power and fighting type coverage.

Well, that my team. Please give me some advice and changes below. THANX!!

Hiya! This team is pretty cool, and I have some suggestions:
  • I would use a 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD spread on Chansey. You don't really need to max out HP, because it has a blistering stat that reaches 642 with only an investment of 4 HP. That's more than max HP investment Alomomola, which is an impressive feat. Having max Defense and Special Defense can help Chansey patch up its appalling defense stat and respectable special defense stat, while receiving larger boosts from Eviolite. In addition, switch Protect with Seismic Toss. Chansey is taunt bait otherwise, and Seismic Toss has a set damage output that assists Chansey because of its terrible attacking stats.
  • Although it may sound well on paper and may work for you in battle, it would probably be best to fit Sleep Talk onto Gyarados (replace Thunder Wave in my opinion to let Gyarados act as a phazer). Gyarados is helpless when asleep, and Chansey cannot switch in on every Pokemon to heal it. In addition, I would recommend using a 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD spread for the sake of reduce damage from hazards.
  • I would recommend using Focus Sash on Breloom. With Focus Sash, you can at least take one hit, and Breloom is really frail so it'll likely be OHKO'd by most Pokemon that are faster than it. Life Orb does make Breloom more powerful, but the recoil cost will really hurt its potential to sweep.
  • Drop 4 Attack EVs on Camerupt to slightly increase the power of Rock Slide.
Good luck on your team! =)

Thanks! Gonna make all these changes, except I'm probably gonna drop waterfall for sleep talk since the main goal of the Gyrados is to paralyze as much stuff as as possible. Outside of that, most of this stuff was just blatantly obvious tips that a noob like me overlooked. Thanx!!! =]

Tunder wave on SleepTalk? I dunno about that one. Your opponent can easily take advantage of you. Prankster Thundurs is much better at parlyzing foes as his T-wave has priorty unlike Gyarados.
