Alright, have tried this team for a while now. Worked quite well, have won most of battles with it. Just wanted to know about other people's opinion and if I can make it even better. Gonna give it a go here!
LEAD:
Typical leading Ferrothorn, that's all. The only role of this guy is to set up Steath Rock and Spikes during starting, just to weaken and put pressure on the opposing team. It has some good defensive stats and can probably last for a while as well.
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Explosion
- Spikes
Steath Rock is pretty useful anyway, and it can work qutie well on some oped flying/fire duel types. Leech Seed is just for stall while I set up Spikes, Leech Seed + Leftovers can be a little trollish. Though I might replace Leftovers with Focus Sash... just to deal with those fire type moves. The only reason I put Explosion instead of Protect is because I want Ferrothorn to go out doing some damage at least... though its attack sucks and probably wouldn't deal much.
Heracross:
Guess who takes down teams with his massive attack stat? Heracross. My team's non-mega physical sweeper. First I was confused with if I should use Medicham or Heracross, then realized that scarf can be bit annoying at times. And Heracross' attack is more than double of Medicham... though it lacks speed, but I guess its enormous attack makes up for it. The main role of this guy is just to destroy, break through everything with its OPed stab moves; Megahorn and Close Combat and its enormous attack stat. Not to mention, it has 'decent' defensive stat as well, probably can take some hits here and there.
Heracross @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
I picked Guts over Moaxie just to secure a raised attack stat as soon as I switch him in. Flame Orb is a must with Guts anyway. Megahorn is Heracross' strongest bug type stab-move, same goes for Close Combat (Not counting the Focus Punch of course) so those two are must anyway. Stone Edge is to deal with annoying flying and fire types. Earth Quake is just an extra, I could go for Pursuit but I find Earth Quake bit better, it is pretty useful to deal with Heatrans or so.
Venusaur
Venusaur, my little charming bulky special sweeper, aw. Venusaur is good in dealing with Fairy types and some good hard hitters like Heracross or so. It has pretty overpowered SpA stat and good bulk. Cam be used as a defensive wall and a special attacker at same time.
Venusaur @ Miracle Seed
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Growth
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Petal Dance
I don't have anyone who runs Sunny day or holds any ability related to it in my team. And it's pretty unreliable so I use Overgrow instead. Miracle Seed is just to further boost his grass type moves. Growth Venusaur is scary... his Special Attack is already pretty scary and with Growth it's just oped. Giga Drain is my best reliable grass-type choice after Solar Beam, which is useless without sunny day. Sludge Bomb is Venusaur's strongest Poison STAB move. Petal Dance is just an extra... I didn't have anything better to ad. But Growth + Petal Dance can be pretty dang scary if the opposing team doesn't have anyone who resists it.
Rotom-Wash
While washing machines aren't one of the things I like, Rotom wash is. It's there to deal with those annoying fire types whom my poor team greatly fears. Most of the members other than maybe Charizard, you can say, are 2x (if not 4x) weak against Fire type Pokemon. Rotom Wash is pretty bulky, it has sweet Defense and sweet Special Defense and its Special attack stat is pretty dang sweet as well.
Rotom-Wash @ Mystic Water
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Mystic Water is there to boost up the power of Water type STAB moves, and because I couldn't think of anything better. Hydro Pump is Rotom Wash's strongest water-type STAB, and despite its low accuracy, is pretty strong, specially with Mystic Water which further boosts its strength. Thunderbolt is more reliable than thunder and is a good STAB move. Will-O-Wisp is to deal with Pokemon with good Sp.def or those who resist both water and electric type. HP Ice can be pretty useful against annoying Grass, Ground and Dragon types.
Cloyster:
My little Shell Smasher baby! It's as scary as the face inside its shell. Good attack stat and decent bulk, what else you need for a Shell Smasher? With Focus Sash combined Cloyster can be pretty much of an unstoppable Physical Sweeper. It's ability Skill Link is pretty overpowered itself considering it has pretty good multi hitting moves. It can take down Teams all by itself.
Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Twineedle
Focus Sash is there to deal with any move which would ohko him before I manage to use Shell Smash. Icicle Spear is pretty scary STAB move when combined with Skill Link and Shell Smash. Rock Blast is there to deal with annoying Fire and Ice types which can resist Icicie Spear, and it's pretty overpowered as well with Cloyster's ability. Twineedle is just a filler, I couldn't think of anything else.
Mega Charizard X:
Here we go, my little scary mega Charizard baby, with it's overpowered atk stat and decent bulk. What can I say, Charizard X is just crazy strong, strongest non-legendary fire-type along with, Y maybe. And a beast Dragon type as well. With its amazing attack stat... and combined with some speed from Dragon Dance. Aw yeah.
Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
Dragon Dance boosts Charizard X's already overpowered attack even more, and give it just what it needs, speed. A fast physical sweeper which owns through anything with its massive atk and boosted speed. Dragon Claw is one of its decent STAB moves and is more reliable than Outrage which locks you. Flare Blitz can ohko most of the guys, it can even ohko some Pokemon which resist it when combined with Dragon Dance. Roost is just to make this baby last long (Specially after it has been damaged by Steath Rock)
So, how is it? Anything I can do to make it better? Replace some Pokemon? Replace some moves, abilities, items? Thanks.
