[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Charizard X's insane power from Tough Claws enables it to be a devastating wallbreaker, setting up on and breaking past defensive Steel- and Fire-types such as Ferrothorn, Gholdengo, and Moltres. This combined with its typing before and after Mega Evolution makes it a unique setup sweeper, since base Charizard's various resistances alongside a Ground immunity leads to additional setup oppurtunities, such as against Landorus-T and Choice-locked Iron Valiant. Mega Evolution enables base Charizard to shrug off and punish would-be super effective attacks from Water- and Electric-types such as Urshifu-R and Raging Bolt, both of which would attempt to revenge kill it with Aqua Jet and Thunderclap, respectively. Dragon Dance prevents Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Tapu Lele, and Urshifu-R from outspeeding and revenge killing Mega Charizard X. Swords Dance is an alternative that gives Mega Charizard X more wallbreaking power, notably OHKOing Gliscor with Flare Blitz after a boost, making it a solid option either on Sticky Web teams or as a standalone wallbreaker. Earthquake hits Toxapex, Mega Diancie, and Heatran. Dragon Claw is used for opposing Dragon-types such as Garchomp, Mega Latios, and Dragonite as well as other targets such as Moltres. Roost is a viable alternative to either, making up for Mega Charizard X's horrible Stealth Rock weakness while letting it make up the damage it takes from setting up or using Flare Blitz repeatedly. It also limits priority users, such as Kingambit and Mega Lopunny, since they can no longer reliably wear it down into Sucker Punch or Fake Out range, respectively. However, it leaves Mega Charizard X reliant on its teammates to break past foes it would otherwise match up well against, since it lacks coverage.

Due to its insane strength but limited longevity, Mega Charizard X works well on hyper offense teams that want to capitalize off its damage. Offensive partners such as Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Kingambit all appreciate Mega Charizard X wearing down the opposing team early- or mid-game, where they can clean up afterwards. In particular, Zamazenta and Kingambit help to overwhelm shared checks, such as Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Clefable. Meanwhile, specially offensive partners such as Gholdengo, Tapu Lele, and Raging Bolt all break past physically defensive Pokemon that Mega Charizard X can't, such as Slowbro, IronPress Zamazenta, and Alomomola. Suicide leads such as Landorus-T and Glimmora provide additonal support in the form of Stealth Rock while also denying opposing Stealth Rock for Mega Charizard X, mitigating its horrible entry hazard weakness. Dual screens Tapu Koko can do the latter with Taunt while providing extra bulk for Mega Charizard X to set up with more safety, especially variants lacking Roost. Mega Charizard X is also solid on bulky offense teams that need a powerful wallbreaker and potential wincon. Since it despises Stealth Rock, hazard removal from allies like Great Tusk and Terapagos is mandatory for Mega Charizard X to set up. Great Tusk in particular is able to overwhelm otherwise hardy checks like Clefable and Slowbro while being able to handle the Electric-types that base Charizard has to fear defensively. This pairing also allows Mega Charizard X to masquerade as Mega Charizard Y, and can pick up surprise KOs against unaware checks and revenge killers such as specially defensive Heatran, Raging Bolt, and Tapu Koko. Rillaboom's Grassy Terrain provides Mega Charizard X with more longevity, as well as limiting Landorus-T's and Gliscor's ability to OHKO it with Earthquake. Rillaboom itself can handle bulky Water-types such as Alomomola and pivot out of Fire-types such as Heatran, which Mega Charizard X can take advantage of to set up. In return, Rillaboom appreciates Mega Charizard X blowing past Grass-resistant foes such as Ferrothorn, Gholdengo, and Raging Bolt. Tapu Fini provides similar Terrain-based support, with Misty Terrain protecting Mega Charizard X from debilitating status conditions from Zapdos and Alomomola. It is able to exploit the latter with either Trick or Calm Mind while providing support against opposing Dragon-types such as Roaring Moon. In return, Mega Charizard X removes Grass-types such as Ferrothorn, Ogerpon-W, and Kartana that may try to take advantage of Tapu Fini's lack of immediate power, as well as breaking past sturdy specially defensive walls such as Galarian Slowking and Assault Vest Melmetal. Unfortunately, Grassy Terrain weakens Mega Charizard X's own Earthquake, while Tapu Fini's Misty Terrain weakens Dragon Claw, meaning Mega Charizard X will have to forgo one of its coverage options to synergise well with these two.

Mega Charizard X is a unique setup sweeper in the tier thanks to its typing both before and after Mega Evolution. this is not the only defining trait that charx has; you should be also mentioning it's surprisingly high power due to setup+on par atk stat+tough claws Being a Fire-type, it can naturally wallbreak through Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Gholdengo, and Melmetal, as well as more niche Grass-types such as Rillaboom and Kartana. this is entirely just very obvious, reword it so that you're focusing on how because charx is a fire type, it can threaten and therefore find setup opportunity against them Base Charizard's typing provides it various resistances alongside a Ground-type immunity, which leads to additional setup oppurtunities, (RC) such as against Ground- and Fairy-types like Great Tusk and non-Thunder Wave Clefable and Choice-locked Iron Valiant Landorus-Therian and Choice-locked Iron Valiant. a) you need to specify what charizards typing grants, b) felt that landorus-t was more relevant since tusk can be hsmash or 2kho with batk ice spinner or bu, and clef can't really harm charx anyway and it's used as setup opportunity regardless of whether or not you mega'd Meanwhile, after Mega Evolution, Mega Charizard X's Dragon-type helps out against Water- and Electric-types such as Hisuian Samurott and Tapu Koko. These traits combined provide Mega Charizard X multiple entry points to dish out insane damage thanks to its unresisted STAB and powerful ability. move this up to the first sentence as mentioned Dragon Dance prevents Choice Scarf users such as Urshifu-R, Tapu Lele, and Landorus-T, from revenge-killing Mega Charizard X as reliably, while Swords Dance can be used instead on both Sticky Web teams and as a standalone wallbreaker, notably OHKOing Gliscor with Flare Blitz after a boost. Earthquake is needed to hit Toxapex, Mega Diancie, and Heatran. Dragon Claw is used for opposing Dragon-types such as Garchomp, Mega Latios, and Dragonite, as well as other targets such as Moltres. Roost is a viable alternative to either, making up for Mega Charizard X's horrible Stealth Rock weakness, while letting it make up the damage it takes from setting up or using Flare Blitz repeatedly. It also limits priority users, such as Kingambit and Mega Lopunny, since they can no longer reliably wear it down into Sucker Punch or Fake Out range respectively. However, it leaves Mega Charizard X reliant on its teammates to break past foes it would otherwise do fine into, since it lacks coverage.

Due to its insane strength, but limited longevity, Mega Charizard X works best on hyper offense teams that want to capitalize off its damage. Offensive partners such as Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Kingambit, all appreciate Mega Charizard X wearing down the opposing team in the early-to-mid game, where they can clean up afterwards. In particular, Zamazenta and Kingambit help to overwhelm shared checks, such as Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Clefable. Meanwhile, specially offensive partners such as Gholdengo, Tapu Lele, and Raging Bolt, all break past physically defensive Pokemon that Mega Charizard X doesn't like fighting against, such as Slowbro, IronPress Zamazenta, and Alomomola. Due to its atrocious weakness to Stealth Rock, Pokemon that can remove entry hazards such as Great Tusk and Terapagos are great allies for supporting Mega Charizard X's longevity. In return, Mega Charizard X overwhelms defensive counterplay for Great Tusk, while breaking past specially defensive Pokemon such as Galarian Slowking and Ting Lu for Terapagos. Since it belongs on hyper offense, suicide Pokemon that can set entry hazards greatly benefit Mega Charizard X, making Landorus-T and Glimmora solid options, both of which are able to prevent opposing hazards from going up thanks to Taunt and Mortal Spin respectively, the latter of which wearing foes down even further. Dual screens support from Tapu Koko is also great, letting Mega Charizard X setup more consistently against foes it wouldn't usually, such as Tapu Fini or Tornadus-T. It can also pivot out into base Charizard after using Taunt against Ground-types such as Gliscor and Landorus-T, making them setup fodder for base Charizard as a result. niche interaction+irrelevant. charx doesn't necessarily have to be on solely HO teams; it can function just fine on standard offense teams where it can pivot into steels like ferro and wallbreak, which also have the potential to disguise charx as chary if built correctly allowing it to net surprise KOs on mons like rbolt. otherwise great analysis, it'll be awkward to rewrite and add into this section though as you're primarily focused on HO here. you'll need to reword/remove some stuff to make space therefore i'll giving this a recheck before approving

Mega Charizard X's insane power from Tough Claws enables it to be a devastating wallbreaker in the tier, feels superflous setting up on and breaking past defensive Steel- and Fire-types such as Ferrothorn, Gholdengo, and Moltres. This combined with its unique typing before and after Mega Evolution makes it a unique setup sweeper for the tier, since base Charizard's various resistances alongside a Ground-type immunity leads to additional setup oppurtunities, such as against Landorus-T and Choice-locked Iron Valiant. v happy to see a note on base zard good job only thing i dislike is two "unique" in the same sentence but nitpick Mega Evolution enables base Charizard to shrug off and punish would-be super-effective attacks from Water- and Electric-types such as Urshifu-R and Raging Bolt, both of which would attempt to revenge-kill with Aqua Jet and Thunderclap respectively. Dragon Dance prevents Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Tapu Lele, and Urshifu-R from outspeeding and revenge-killing Mega Charizard X. Swords Dance is an alternative which gives Mega Charizard X more breaking power, notably OHKOing Gliscor with Flare Blitz after a boost, making it a solid option either on Sticky Web teams, or if Mega Charizard X functions as a standalone wallbreaker. could look into mentioning scale as a slash to dclaw maybe but nitpick Earthquake is needed to hit Toxapex, Mega Diancie, and Heatran. However, it leaves Mega Charizard X reliant on its teammates to break past foes it would otherwise do fine into sounds a bit nyeh maybe instead something like "otherwise punish" or "otherwise match up well against" since "do fine into" sort of undercuts how much xard loves having more attacks, since it lacks coverage.

Due to its insane strength, but limited longevity, Mega Charizard X works well on hyper offense teams that want to capitalize off its damage. Meanwhile, specially offensive partners such as Gholdengo, Tapu Lele, and Raging Bolt, all break past physically defensive Pokemon that Mega Charizard X doesn't like fighting against can't, again just a language change, this time to sort of dampen the "giving the mon a personality" aspect such as Slowbro, IronPress Zamazenta, and Alomomola. Suicide leads such as Landorus-T and Glimmora provide additonal breaking power in the form of Stealth Rock while this is true, it might be worth saying "support" instead of "breaking power" since rocks dont break through 99% of mons on their own but instead supplement other breaking attempts, while also denying opposing Stealth Rock for Mega Charizard X, mitigating its horrible hazard weakness. Dual Screens Tapu Koko can do the latter with Taunt, while providing extra longevity and bulk for Mega Charizard X to setup with more aggressively think you mean aggression here but safety can also be mentioned here, both work, especially variants lacking Roost. However, Mega Charizard X is also solid on bulky offense teams that need a powerful wallbreaker and potential wincon. Since it despises Stealth Rock, hazard removal from Great Tusk and Terapagos are greatly appreciated perhaps too personal here but i'd almost say on a BO that removal isn't greatly appreciated- its absolutely necessary. for the purposes of the analysis you can cut this down to a "borderline necessary" but without removal on bo xard is 100000% getting nuked in like 3 turns. Great Tusk in particular is able to overwhelm checks with Mega Charizard X such as Clefable and Slowbro, while it is able to handle Electric-types for base Charizard, who can disguise as Mega Charizard Y to pick up surprise KOs against unaware checks and revenge killers such as specially defensive Heatran, Raging Bolt, and Tapu Koko. this sounds a bit awkward although I'm presently having a tough time thinking of a better route. I think "Great Tusk in particular, when paired with Mega Charizard X, is able to overwhelm otherwise hardy checks like Clefable and Slowbro, while defensively being able to handle the Electric-types that base Charizard has to fear. This pairing also allows Mega Charizard X to masquerade as Mega Charizard Y, and can pick up surpriso KOs against unaware checks and revenge killers such as specially defensive Heatran, Raging Bolt, and Tapu Koko." is probably a slightly better move since it more cleanly divides the three points you make in this sentence into a more cohesive flow but very good ideas here love the fake sun mention Rillaboom's Grassy Terrain provides Mega Charizard X with more longevity, as well as limiting Landorus-T and Gliscor's ability to OHKO it with Earthquake; Rillaboom itself can handle bulky Water-types such as Alomomola, while pivoting out of Fire-types such as Heatran. Tapu Fini does a similar thing, provides similar Terrain-based support, with Misty Terrain protecting Mega Charizard X from crippling status conditions from Zapdos and Alomomola, MARK the latter it is able to setup on with either Trick or Calm Mind; Tapu Fini itself handles opposing Dragon-types such as Roaring Moon. Good choices for mons but everything after the mark is a little difficult to parse for a relatively direct concept. I'd caution against trying to reference a mon in a "Mon 1, Mon 2........... it (referring to mon 1)" since it leads to a weird train of thought when reading. So for example this could be rewritten (after the mark) as "and being able to exploit the latter with either a Trick or Calm Mind, while providing support against opposing Dragon-types such as Roaring Moon". Could also mention Fini weakening opposing Dragon moves (I see you do that in the next sentence, so could be worth a mention? harder to set up and is inconsistent so I understand why you wouldn't ultimately up to you on this) Unfortunately, Grassy Terrain weakens Mega Charizard X's own Earthquake, while Tapu Fini's Misty Terrain weakens Dragon Claw, meaning Mega Charizard X will have to forgo one of its coverage options to synergise well with these two.

In return, Mega Charizard X removes Grass-types such as Ferrothorn, Ogerpon-W, and Kartana, (RC) that may try to take advantage of Tapu Fini's lack of immediate power, as well as breaking past sturdy specially defensive walls such as Galarian Slowking and Assault Vest lol Melmetal. Unfortunately, Grassy Terrain weakens Mega Charizard X's own Earthquake, while Tapu Fini's Misty Terrain weakens Dragon Claw, meaning Mega Charizard X will have to forgo one of its coverage options to synergise well with these two.
