ORAS OU Mega Charizard X team

The Team:
Charizard
Clefable
Gothitelle
Landorus-T
Thundurus-I
Excadrill

Charizard
Ability: Blaze
Item: Charizardite X
Nature: Jolly
EV Spread: 72H 252A 184S
Moves:
Flare Blitz
Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw
Roost
I chose Charizard X to be a sweeper on my team was because of its awesome offensive typing and power and speed that comes with Dragon Dance and Tough Claws. Flare Blitz is used with Roost for extra power and reliable recovery. I considered running Fire Punch and Earthquake (and once did,) because I was afraid of being walled by Heatran. I changed it after I realized that I had two Pokémon that could take it out (Landorus-T and Excadrill) before a sweep. Dragon Dance is, of course, a way to set up and try to sweep. My EV spread gives me a bit of bulk while still being able to outspeed Scarf Landorus-T at +1 speed.

Clefable
Ability: Unaware
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EV Spread: 252H 252D 4SD
Moves:
Moonblast
Wish
Protect
Heal Bell
I chose Clefable to be on my team because I need a cleric and someone who can stop most physical sweepers from wrecking the team. Wish is used to heal itself and teammates and Heal Bell is used to cure status that could cripple the team. The EV spread is to make as physically bulky as possible. Leftovers are used for passive recovery.

Gothitelle
Ability: Shadow Tag
Item: Choice Specs
Nature: Modest
EV Spread: 4H 252SA 252S
Moves:
Psychic
Trick
Energy Ball
Hidden Power Fire
I chose Gothitelle to be on my team for its ability to trap and take out defensive Pokémon who would make sweeping difficult. Choice Specs are used for power. Psychic is its most powerful STAB move. Energy Ball is used to hit Quagsire and Hippowdon super-effectively. Trick is used to cripple Chansey. The EV spread allows Gothitelle to outspeed Rotom-Wash.

Landorus-T
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature: Jolly
EV Spread: 252A 4SD 252S
Moves:
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Knock Off
U-Turn
I chose Landorus-T because of its ability to threaten Heatran and revenge kill. Choice Scarf is used to outspeed many threats. Max Attack and Speed are used to hit as hard and fast as possible. Earthquake is used to hit Heatran. Stone Edge is used to hit threats like Charizard Y, Talonflame, and Dragonite. Knock Off cripples Chansey. U-turn is used to both scout and get rid of Hoopa-U.

Thundurus-I
Ability: Prankster
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EV spread: 4D 252SA 252S
Moves:
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power Ice
Focus Blast
Thunder Wave
I chose Thundurus-I to be on my team is because of its ability to spread Paralysis. Prankster allows for priority to Thunder Wave to cut the speed of Choice Scarf users like Terrakion, who might cut the Charizard sweep short. Hidden Power Ice is used to take out Garchomp and defensive Landorus-T. Focus Blast hits potential switch-ins like Excadrill. Thunderbolt hit waters like Azumarill.

Excadrill
Ability: Mold Breaker
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Careful
EV Spread: 252H 4A 252SD
Moves:
Earthquake
Iron Head
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock
I chose to use Excadrill on my team because of its ability to deal with Fairies, spin away hazards, and set up Stealth Rock. Earthquake hits Heatran and is its best STAB move. Iron Head is used to deal with Fairies like Sylveon and Clefable. Rapid Spin is used to clear away hazards. Stealth Rock is used to make KOs easier for teamates. The EV Spread is used to make Excadrill as bulky as possible.

Hi TheDraugr, cool team there, I've some suggestion to make it better!

First of all I noticed that your team is really weak to Keldeo, and water type pokemon in general, so I suggest you to try Celebi over Gothitelle, Celebi will allow you to check certain threats like Keldeo or Azumarill with more ease, and the SubPass can be useful so you can give Charizard a free setup.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 Spe
Bold Nature
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Recover
- Giga Drain
Now your team has a real Talo weakness, as the SD Set can win with ease if Lando-T is weakened, Tyranitar over Landorus-T will allow you to check Talonflame better, and with the sand your Excadrill will be able to run a more offensive set. Ice Beam is a nice way to lure things like Lando-T for CharX and bulky Chomp for Excadrill.

Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Ice Beam
As I told you when I was talking of TTar, a more offensive set on Excadrill can benefit of the sand, and he'll be a nice late game cleaner.

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide

That's all I have, good luck with the team n__n!
