ORAS OU Mega Diancie Balance (first team, 1411 peak)

Hello everyone, first post on smogon and first real team, all named Weedle. Just got into ORAS a couple months ago, so the 1400 is probably mostly inexperience. Basically this team likes to stack hazards and force switches, I have very few status moves as I really don't like trying to spread status, I can't get it to fit my playstyle (I could try again though. I'm not quite sure if this is a bulky offence team or balance, but enough of this, the team:

Builds:

diancie-mega.gif

Diancie-Mega (Weedle)
Item: Diancite
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Protect
Diancie is usually the lead of this team (sometimes Rotom), this lets her stop opposing hazard setup and go mega for later bounces. She also acts as a late game cleaner on this team, being able to sweep easily once counters are gone. Naive is to survive MLop's HJK from full health, EVs are pretty standard. Earth power hits poison types and heatran (and no HP fire lets me speed tie latis), diamond storm hits special walls and has great coverage, protect for going mega and scouting, moonblast for all else.

rotom-wash.gif

Rotom-Wash (Weedle)
Item: Choice Scarf
EVs: 248 HP / 116 Def / 144 SpD
Bold Nature
- Trick
- Volt Switch
- Pain Split
- Hydro Pump
I went for a mixed rotom, this lets me sponge pretty much whatever. I use him to absorb hits I don't want to take with others, (like scald) and to deal with ground types and other water weak mons. It is also my primary stallbreaker thanks to trick (give it to all the walls). I went for scarf over specs as outspeeding stuff with volt switch or hydro pump is helpful. Pain split is longevity, volt switch is pivot, and hydro pump is for ground and fire.

heatran.gif

Heatran (Weedle)
Item: Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Lava Plume
- Flash Cannon
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
This is my main special wall, I use him to tank these hits, switch into fire moves and phaze sweepers trying to set up. I chose air balloon to let him switch in a lot more easily and let him get hits or rocks up on those that want to earthquake him. Rocks is there for hazards when I can't bounce them up, lava plume for burn phishing, roar phazes, flash cannon hits walled fairies and azur on the switch.

gliscor.gif

Gliscor (Weedle)
Item: Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Roost
- Stone Edge

Gliscor give a very nice electric immunity, strong hits, reliable healing, status absorption and a good physical wall. U-turn was used to do some damage on the double switch for the ice users he brings in, stone edge hits everything earthquake doesn't (including talonflame), earthquake is main damage and roost is longevity.

skarmory.gif

Skarmory (Weedle)
Item: Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Brave Bird
- Spikes
- Roost
Another mon I use to sponge hits (like rotom), rocky helmet allows this to be punishment. Skarmory is primarily here as a MLop counter, but also does a very good job as a hazard setter, putting a lot more pressure on switches. Roost is for longevity, iron head is for fairies and brave bird is for fighting.

breloom.gif

Breloom (Weedle)
Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Spore
- Rock Tomb
Breloom with a scarf seems weird, but actually turns out very useful. 1st of all the unexpected factor usually lets it get a KO, and second it lets it outspeed all unboosted up 130ish base, letting it take out things like Weavile and Starmie and spore fast mons who are a threat. Other than that it is a pretty basic technician Breloom, mostly here for high damage to dark, steel and water types.

Weedle (Rotom-Wash) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate

Ability: Flash Fire

Hey man, nice team and welcome to Smogon! I have some changes that I think might be able to benefit the team you have:

Skarmory is more of a utility pokemon, so 2 attacks aren't both needed. Brave bird/Iron head are both good on Skarmory, but I would go Whirlwind>Brave Bird on Skarmory, since Whirlwind makes it easier to shuffle you're opponent's team through hazards better, and to force out set up mons. Iron head makes you able to check Diancie, and Brave Bird Checks things such as Pinsir, which Rotom checks anyways.

Personally, I don't think choice scarf Rotom is needed. It doesn't help to me locked into a move most of the time, and its really more annoying with out a scarf anyways. I would go Wilo Wisp>Trick on Rotom, and replace Choice Scarf with Leftover's with an EV spread of 248 HP 252 Def 8 Spe, Bold nature. This makes it so that you have an annoying pivot, and you are able to sponge hits much better.

A better spread for Heatran would be 252 HP 252 Spe 4 Spd Timid Nature. This makes it so that you keep the bulk that you like, and get to utilize the speed. Max speed Heatran helps you tie/out speed with other heatrans, and out speed Max speed Scizor.

On Gliscor (if optional) I would replace Taunt> Stone edge, so that you are able to shut down slower bulky mons, such as Hippowdown, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, ect. Also keep in mind you have Rotom and Heatran to force out Talonflame, so you don't really need stone edge to hit it. As a matter of fact, Rotom hits and forces out whatever stone edge hits, so you can pivot switch to that and deal with said threat!

Skarmory (Weedle)
Item: Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Roost

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Gliscor (Weedle)
Item: Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Roost
- Taunt

GL and hope this helped!
P.S I like the scarf Breloom, its a unpredictable set that can have some use.

Ehy :)
Change the spread on Heatran in 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe Calm Nature, The Evs in speed are for outspeed Suicune and Venusaur, the EVs in SpD are important because allows it to check Raikou and Manectric that are really annoyng for your team. Air Ballon is really useless on SpD Heatran, since obviously nothing SpDef Heatran checks carries Ground coverage, except for the occasional Charizard-X. Leftovers>Air Ballon is a better option, because give you a good passive recovery that really help heatran. Taunt>Flash Cannon is a good option, also Toxic>Roar is other good option for help you vs Stall Team.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
You don't really need to Scarf Rotom in this team, i think that Defensive Rotom is a better option, because help you to check many weakness such a Metagross for Exemple. 8 Evs in speed are for outspeed adamant crawdaunt.
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Keldeo and Electric Spam are really problem for this team, and you don't need to Skermory, my suggest is to use Defog Latios>Skermory that give you a good momentum and offensive presence, and help you vs this problem.
Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Roost
- Defog
You don't really have a wincon in this team, and the stall are annoyng, i think that Life Orb Breloom>Scarf is a better option for this team, because give you a really good offensive presence, a good Wincon and help vs Stall.
Breloom @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Swords Dance
I think that Gliscor is useless in this team, my suggest is to use Bisharp>Gliscor that give you a good second wincon and a second priority move, that's really better for this offence, ah and check Weavile (No Low kick) that is annoyng for the team :0
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
