[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Diancie is a potent offensive threat, boasting high speed and power, and Magic Bounce preventing it from being affected by status moves. Furthermore, between its coverage options, there are very few Pokemon that can reliably switch into it without being 2HKOd after minimal chip. Moonblast is its primary STAB, 2HKOing most non resists not called Blissey. Diamond Storm allows it to 2HKO Celesteela and Blissey after a small amount of chip damage, while also dealing with Fire-types that would otherwise switch into Moonblast. Hidden Power Fire hits Scizor, OHKOing all but the most specially defensive Scizor, and is its best option to hit Skarmory. Earth Power hits most of the remaining Steel-types, 2HKOing Mega Steelix, offensive Jirachi, Klefki and Nidoqueen, while also having a chance to 2HKO Mega Aggron and OHKOing Nidoking. Psychic 2HKOs Amoonguss, and threatens Nidoking and Nidoqueen. Naive is preferred to take less from Infernape's Mach Punch and Mamoswine's Ice Shard, but Hasty can be run if you would rather switch into Moltres more often.

This set greatly appreciates pivoting support, as besides Moltres, it does not reliably switch into any notable Pokemon it can actually threaten without a sizeable amount of scouting. Choice Band Scizor can Pursuit trap Specially Defensive Jirachi, which all sets appreciate, while also threatening faster Pokemon with a powerful Bullet Punch. Rotom-H and Moltres notably threatens most of Mega Diancie’s defensive checks, threatening Overheat or Flamethrower respectively against Scizor, Amoonguss, Jirachi and Skarmory. Slowking can use Future Sight to prevent Amoonguss from coming in for free against sets lacking Psychic, while also being able to use Teleport to get it in safely. Aside from these, Rotom-W, Blissey and Urshifu-RS are all solid pivoting partners. A reliable Scizor check is highly recommended, as it can revenge kill Mega Diancie and is a generally good switchin to any attack besides Hidden Power Fire as a result. Mega Diancie also appreciates speed control to deal with faster threats, as well as answers to typical scarfers. For the former, Choice Scarf users are good options, while most defensive pivots can deal with the latter. Weavile and Choice Scarf Krookodile are solid partners, as they can trap Jirachi and Starmie, both of which threaten Mega Diancie.

[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Diancie is one of the most effective offensive Stealth Rock users in the meta, being able to pressure Rotom-H, Moltres and Mega Altaria, who are common defoggers, with its STABs alone and being a potent offensive threat in its own right. Hasty is preferred on this set as it allows Mega Diancie to switch into Moltres more often and get Stealth Rocks up again, but Naive can be run if revenge killing priority users such as Mach Punch Infernape and Ice Shard Mamoswine is important. Earth Power allows it to 2HKO Mega Steelix, 2HKO Jirachi after some prior chip, and threaten Nidoking and Nidoqueen, who otherwise resist Mega Diancie’s STABs. Hidden Power Fire allows it to OHKO all but the most specially defensive Scizor and is its best option to hit Skarmory. Psychic allows it to 2HKO Amoonguss on the switch in while also threatening Nidoking and Nidoqueen.

This set fits well on teams that want a Stealth Rock user that can be an offensive threat in its own right, and have a free mega slot. Mega Diancie greatly appreciates pivoting support, as its typing does not lend itself to opportunities to switch in and it is not particularly bulky. Good options include Rotom-H, Rotom-W, Slowking, Scizor and Blissey, each having varying amounts of synergy depending on the coverage option. Rotom-H notably threatens most of Mega Diancie’s defensive checks besides Blissey, and Choice Band Scizor can Pursuit trap Specially Defensive Jirachi, while dealing with offensive threats with a strong Bullet Punch. A reliable Scizor check is highly recommended, as it can revenge kill Mega Diancie and is a generally good switchin to any attack besides Hidden Power Fire as a result. The remaining team support it wants varies depending on the coverage move – if you are not running Hidden Power Fire, you will want something to deal with Skarmory and, even more than usual, Scizor. If you are not running Psychic, you will want something to deal with Amoonguss. If you aren’t running Earth Power, you will want something to weaken or remove bulky steels such as Jirachi, Mega Steelix, and Mega Aggron.

Naive is preferred to take less from Swords Dance Infernape’s Iron Fist boosted Mach Punch u can just change this to priority move mentions like ''Mach Punch Infernape and Ice Shard Mamoswine'', but Hasty can be run if you would rather switch into Moltres more often.

Mega Diancie is one of the most effective offensive Stealth Rock users in the meta, being able to pressure the majority of Defog just change this to Rotom-Heat & Moltres (the most common ones), as this makes it seem like Mega Diancie threatens Rotom-Wash or others from full users with its STABs alone and being a potent offensive threat in its own right. Hasty is preferred on this set as it allows Mega Diancie to switch into Moltres more often and get Stealth Rocks up again, but Naive can be run if revenge killing Swords Dance Infernape again, just mention the priority mons from previous setis important. The remaining team support it wants varies depending on the coverage move – if you are not running Hidden Power Fire, you will want something to deal with Scizor this is weird, considering u heavily emphasized on getting a scizor check in the previous sentence, while in this case you say it's just an option. change the sentences a bit here to make a bit more consistent. and Skarmory. If you are not running Psychic, you will want something to deal with Amoonguss. If you aren’t running Earth Power, you will want something to weaken or remove bulky steels such as Jirachi, Mega Steelix, and Mega Aggron.
